Hey guys, i'm back today with another video and this one is going to be brought to you by the company divas wigs now before i get started on all the details, please make sure to hit the subscribe button also turn those notifications on, so that you don't Miss out on any of my videos, i'm going to be showing you guys something different. This is a 13 by 5 teapart, curly wig. I have it in the length 14 inches, it's 150 density and, as you guys can see with this cap construction, it does look a little bit different. It comes with two combs on the side, a comb in the back, your adjustable strap, and it also comes with an elastic band. Now you guys will see me install this twice just because i did have a few hiccups, the first time around, so i'm going to show you guys how i originally styled it, and then you guys will see me fix the issues that i had. So that is what the hairline on this unit looks like. It does come pre-plucked i did not have to go in and do any extra plucking. The only thing that i did to this unit was, i did go in and bleach my knots. However, you do not have to bleach the knots because the knots were pretty small, but i went ahead and did it just because i was already bleaching other wigs that day. So i said why not, but i'm just working on cutting off the lace and i am having to go in on the side and cut off that excess lace by my ear so that it can fit me correctly. My ears are lined up really good. Now i am going to spray my adhesive on and i will be going in with my got to be high, insta hole spray and i am going to be just spraying that, on top of the lace and then using my blow dryer on cool to speed up The process making sure to use the end of my rat tail comb just to kind of press everything down so that i don't have to worry about any lace rolling up once i am done drying the lace down. Now i am going to work on the size of the unit and i wanted to create some sideburns. So i'm going in with the olive oil foam and i am just going to begin to swoop them, and it does take me a little while to get them exactly where i need to be just because i didn't want them to come off looking so thick. So when it comes to the baby hairs and also the sideburns, you have to kind of play around with it until you can get it exactly where you want it now, with this foam, it is very soft, so i had to keep adding product to the brush And then, of course, i am going to add a little bit more baby hairs on the side, but i'm only taking a little bit out. That is going to open up the hairline also, and then i am just going to begin to swoop a little bit more until i am happy with how it looks with the tea party wigs, they are only set for either a middle part or a side part. So you really can't do anything else now. I do think that you can maybe slightly wear this as a flip over, but then you might run into tracks, so you really can't do too much with it. So it's best to just stick to the parting space. That'S on the unit and utilize it now i'm going to take my wax stick and go around the top of the unit and also around the hairline and then use my hot comb to just begin to press everything out and then i am going to end up Tying down the hairline so that i can begin to focus on wetting the hair and i'm going to be using that same olive oil foam to run through the hair, to define the curls to speed up the process so that you don't have to go through this. Many steps you can always pre-style your unit on the mannequin head and then just apply it. You don't have to worry about diffusing and all the other stuff. All you have to do is to spray your adhesive on and worry about the hairline, but i am using my diffuser to speed up the process. I never diffuse my hair to a hundred percent dry just because it is very time consuming and then my arm starts hurting, so i'm just gon na be real. So now i'm gon na go ahead and remove the scarf in the front, and that's when i started noticing a little problem, so i wear this hair out for the day y'all and i did not catch this. You guys can see. When i looked down. I was like no ma'am and then it was thin in the back. I also did have to end up cutting off some of the hair just because there were some longer pieces and when i've been down again, you guys are going to see and i'm like. Oh, no, no, we got ta redo this, so yeah we're gon na try this again so round two. You guys - and i did a few steps differently this time around. One thing i did was add some tent spray to the lace in the very front. Just because i did also notice when i was taking pictures that the lace was coming off just a little bit light. So i went ahead and just added what i'm already used to, and i re-washed the wig and i pre-parted it on my mannequin head, so that i can see it a little bit better. One thing about the teapart wigs is that you have to like part it exactly in the middle or on the side where it's supposed to be or you're going to run into tracks, and i really wish that they would have given more density on the side so That you don't have to be self-conscious when you go out, because when i went to the doctor that day, i had to keep kind of pushing that hair down, because it was really showing the lace. But it was already adhered. And i was already out for the day, but i wanted to reapply this because i knew i could make this work. I just knew i could so i'm going to be pulling out the hair on the sides to recreate those sideburns using the same foam. The olive oil foam and just kind of scooping until i am happy with it now, this did not come out the way that i wanted it to like the first time around. I felt like they were really good, but this time around i had to keep kind of swooping and pulling out hairs, because i didn't want them to look too thick, then i'm also going to go on the side and pull out those hairs. Now i chose to go on the side and pull out the hairs just because with the teapart wig by the ear, it's not as pre-put as the rest of the wig, because you have some wefts right there so pulling out the sides just kind of help to Open it up, but as you can see, i had to kind of go in and take some of the hair away, because i didn't want it coming off too thick. Now it is time to define the curls, but before i did that, i made sure to look down to see if this was okay and that none of the tracks were showing on the side. I did end up going and just pulling out a little bit more hairs and kind of moving it over a little bit. But i had to be sure, because this time around, i wanted this to be right, using my water to start to define the curls, and you guys will notice this time around. I'M not going to be using any type of wax at the top of the unit. But just using the water and also the mousse, now once i got to the top again, i can start to see a little bit of where the tracks were showing. So i'm taking my comb make sure to comb enough of the hair back so that the back wefts won't show. And then i'm making sure to also comb over at the top and then i'll be using that mousse to mold the top down and also to define the curls. I could have just edited this to show you guys what the second final look was, but i wanted to walk you guys through what i had to do when it comes to this wig to not make the top of the unit show when it came to the Tea part, because i am not that familiar when it comes to tea part, wigs and sometimes every install is just not going to be perfect. If i have to fix something. I just want to be honest with you guys and show you the steps that i had to go through the second time around, so that, if you possibly run into the same issues, you would know what to do or can get an idea of what to do. Next, so i'm going to be taking a little bit of wax and going around the hairline and just right at the very front of the unit where the parting space starts. I'M not going to put any wax at the top of the unit. Just because i felt like it wasn't needed, because i already used my mousse to kind of lay everything down in my kendra's boutique hot comb, just to go around the top, make sure everything is nice and sleek and then lightly, taking the hot comb and going over The top not keeping it on there too long break up the curls, i'm going to be using my garnier fructis sleek and shine serum. I did not use a lot of serum because i felt like the foam. I used pretty much held it together and it really wasn't frizzy, but this is going to help protect it against getting too frizzy, especially because it is curly hair. Now you could definitely fluff this up a little bit more, but i didn't feel like it was too needed, and i like this look and then i'm going to go in with my powder and go into the parting space just to kind of open it up. A little bit more and i'm also going to go around the hairline just because once i added that spray, it did come off just a little bit dark and just fluff it up, and i am happy with it this time around. I'M happy that i fixed it because i like the wig, when i put it on, i just, was not feeling the way that it was looking when i bent my head down a really good job. As far as the hairline goes on this unit, and i like how open the parting space is, but you have to be really careful, as you guys can see with the way you part this unit or you were going to run into tracks. That was pretty much. My only con with this wig - and that was just the density at the top and then towards when you get to the back part, the rest of the hair was nice and full. I did not get a lot of shedding with this unit. I did get some snacks in the nape area, but it's not anything that i feel like. I can't control. So let me know what you guys think about this tea party wig. If you are feeling it, i'm going to make sure to leave all the links down below guys.
