Are T-Part Lace Wigs Worth It? Ft. Ruiyuhair

[ Applause, ], hey guys, welcome back to my channel, so today's hair is from rui hair. I hope i'm pronouncing that right, but that's the box, and this is the wig. I did bleach the knots it is a tea part. I'M going to take it all. So you guys can see if you don't know what a tea part is. The lace is basically in the shape of a t, so yeah i'm going to open it up. As you can see, it's a t part and you can see i bleach the knot. So it's not a lot of lace on the front, so you don't have to do a lot of work as you would well, you wouldn't have to do as much plucking, basically but yeah. I'M going to show you guys how i put this t part on and i'm going to. Let you know, is it worth it or not why you should or why you shouldn't, have a tea party, so i'm going to start how i always start with my wax. Stick it smells like mango, so i like to smell it, but yeah i'm going to apply that on the hairline so that i can hot comb it. As i always say, the hot comb makes such a huge difference, so i like to use it along with the wax stick, because it just really helps lay the hair down. It really didn't need laying down at the top because it already came in a middle part, but i'm going to lay down anyways, because i like that really sleek look. So, even though it does come in a middle part, you can flip it over and just have a flip over style. So you know, if you don't want to do the middle, you can just flip it over do a little flip side, if you're into that. So if you don't know, this is what i use to tip my lace. It is a temporary hairspray, but it's brown. I feel like it's the perfect brown for me, so i use this to tip my lace. You can find it at your beauty supply store, that's where i would recommend looking. If not, i will link it down below so yeah. I don't have a lot of lace to spray it on i'm just going to spray it on the part and then i'm going to spray it right there where the hairline starts - and you know just be careful spraying this because it can be intense. You know try to hold it back a couple of inches while you're spraying it i'm pretty sure some got on my door as well so yeah, you know just be careful while doing it. Now, if you are a lighter complexion like i said, this is just a brown hair dye, so i would recommend the even lace tint i like that as well, but i feel like it's the same thing and i get it in a bigger jar. So it's like more for your money. So that's why i buy this. I love my bold hold, but i really need to take a break from glue, so i'm using bed head. I feel like it's just as good um. I would say: bed head, then spritz and then got to be glued like got to be glued is like the last thing like. If i run out of everything else, then that's what i would use, but this is what i'm on right now. So i like to use this in place of the glue, so it's just a nice real good, like glueless method. So in this clip i already cut the lace and basically just making sure that i'm laying down some areas that were lifting in the front, because you know that happens in any lace that i need to cut off. I'M going to cut it off so yeah just make sure you make all the little touch-ups that you need to do before. You'Re all done so here i'm just styling. It'S not much that i need to do um, i'm using some more of that wax. Stick just to lay the top down because we got some flyaways. So that's really good for that as well. So i'm really not going to do much to this hair because the curls are really pretty i'm basically just going to touch up the top half, because that's the only part where the curls have been disturbed. So if you don't know when i bleach the knots i only wash like the frontal, i don't wash the whole wig just because it doesn't take as long to dry. So i do that so the curls at the bottom they haven't been touched. So i just want to touch up the curls at the top, so i'm just going to use some water and some leave-in conditioner just to add some moisture and prevent any frizzing my so i did do some more plucking to the front like right there, where the Part is, and it made a difference for sure with a t part, you can't do too much plucking because the tracks are like right there. So you just want to be careful when plucking, but do enough to make a difference so that it looks more natural and not too wiggy, and here i'm just again pressing it down making sure that my lace is not lifting. Now we're going to do some baby hairs, okay, so this is like my typical baby hair. I pulled some hair from the front. It was you want it to look like this, so i just pull some strands to the front. Normally right there on the side is where i do them, and then i cut it. I cut it pretty short and then i do like this up and down motion, and it just gives it a nice like jagged cut like it, doesn't give it like a straight cut. If that makes sense, so i do that and then to lay them. I just use eco styling gel. I know some people like to use styling foam um. I don't really like it. I feel like the gel, holds it down better, but i know some people don't like to use it because you know after a while it does get crusty. But i like to use it because, like i said, i just feel like it holds better and it lasts longer, and then i like to take my little edge brush and i use the comb in. I feel like i can get a better swoop with the comb and i just use my fingers to kind of hold it down and guide where i want the hair to go but yeah it's just like a little it's a little swoop and i'm going to do The same to the other side, so i'm going to cut it, put some gel on it and do my little swoop. It'S really simple um! I do have to do it a couple of times over and over until i get it to my liking. So don't think that i just do my baby hairs like in two minutes and i'm done like no. I really take my time to make sure that i like it. So this is more so what i like my baby hairs to look like, so i kind of just extend them and push them outward like that, and i like the way that that looks so. I am definitely here for the tea part, lace, wigs. I think the lace also makes a difference. So if it's a good lace, it's going to lay good and it's going to look good and look less wiggy. So just take your time, you really have to take your time with doing these installs.
