Hey guys, what's up, it's queenie here, welcome back to my channel and thank you for clicking on this video, i'm sure you're already like damn girl, your hair, your hair, yes, so today i want to take you guys along in a little styling process. You guys have noticed i've been trying to get back into my wigs a little bit because my leave out is suffering. It is suffering my hair is exhausted. Um, it's been stretched straightened all the things. It is tired, so i'm trying to find what the best protective style is for me that can be comfortable and affordable. So this beautiful unit was styled by me, but trust me. It did not look like this in the beginning, so we're going to get into how i got it to look like this and super natural. So of course you guys already know i always prefer to go for a kinky straight texture. So that's what we got here and that's a part of why it looks a little bit more natural than the usual silky straight brazilian, so this hair is actually from a new brand that is also attached to her given hair called wings wings by her given hair. So this sister brand of her given hair is basically focused on affordable hair while still having good quality. So the difference between this wig and all the other, wigs i have shown you guys - is that this is a t, part wig, a t part lace wig. So, instead of having a full lace closure or a full lace frontal, this is just lace right here and right here, really all the parts you really need and that's it so you're, not spending all that extra money on having that really expensive lace with the hairs Coming out everywhere and like having lace all over your head, you're only spending money on good hair and a little bit of lace, so you save there. So, if you're looking for her given hair quality, but a little less, you go to wings, okay. So this is the sister company, so i wanted to try one of their tea party wigs because i only part my hair one way. I don't do anything else. I put it in the middle or part on the side. You can move it do whatever you want, but that's just how i wear my hair with that being said: let's get into this tutorial, i hope this was very clear and i think you guys are gon na enjoy this. My hair needs a huge break, so this is now my new protective style of choice. It took some work to get it to lay like this nice and smooth, but it was definitely worth it, especially for the price point and the quality of this hair. Her given hair does not disappoint when it comes to texture so having this sister brand on top of it, that is more affordable and you still get what you need chef's kiss. So, let's get into this, i'm going to show you the process of how i installed this wig, how easy it was and how you can do it too, and we'll have all the details down below, so you guys can check it out all right. So this is what the wig looks like right on top of my head. This is, after i've, already kind of done, a quick pass of a straightener and it's still very thick and dense. You see there's a little bit of lace on the sides. There'S legs at the top, really everything you need nothing more, nothing less, but let me show you guys: the inside, you guys can see, there's enough lace to give you a nice, deep, long, natural part and enough lace on the sides to give you some natural edges. Some natural, you know wig going on on the sides as well, but when i put this on, you guys can see it is a little bit heavy on the top for the style that i'm trying to go for. But let me make this clear: you do not have to plug this wig, it depends on what style and what look you're going for for braid outs and bigger styles. This is perfect, but i want to clear up a little bit of the extra hair at the top, because this is a majority wefted wig. So there's only a little bit of lace and there's a lot of wefts. So you want to make sure that the wefts match the lace in density lace is not as dense as wefts are, so you have to do a lot of plucking to make sure that all parts of the top of the wig are the same level. If that makes sense, we just want to make sure that there isn't more hair in one section than another, because if you want a really sleek look, you just have to make sure that it's flat everywhere. So i'm just plucking, not the lace, but i'm plucking the tracks, the wefts. That'S what i'm plucking wefts is such a weird word tracks. I'M plucking the tracks to make sure that there isn't too too much hair because they can be a little bit heavier at the roots than lace can be all right. So now that we've done that we put the wick to the side and let's apply this thing. So i'm using the ebbin new york wonderlace bond adhesive spray. This stuff is magic y'all. So if you need something, that's going to make sure your lace stays down for days, but very gently if that makes sense and doesn't ruin your hairline. This is something i would definitely recommend so check it out and yeah. So i just do a couple layers of this make sure it's nice and sticky. So then the lace can lay down nice and tight, and my wig cap is in place so now that it's nicely plucked and pinned back, i'm just going to stick that to my head make sure it's in the right position, i'm going for a middle part. So obviously, we're going to try to line it up properly and i'm just making sure my edges are sticky. I'M not sticking it all the way down to my ears, just because i do have a lot of hair on my sideburns and just on the sides of my head. So i just kind of stick the front part and a little bit down towards my ears, but not all the way. So you can see me just laying flat the lace and it's just kind of disappearing into my skin and then i'm pulling out some hairs. A little you know edge action, baby hair going on, and i'm just going to pull that out, make sure um. I can see clearly where i want to swoop the swoop, and then i just make sure that i give it a bit of a trim. Make it look more natural. You can go even shorter with this for the edges of course, and then i'm using the got to be glued styling spiking glue to lay my edges and of course this is just personal style, sweep how you want don't do this, don't do the baby hairs. Of course, it'll look natural regardless because the lace is down, so i kind of just swoop my own edges with it as well to kind of blend. It make sure it's looking nice and natural as natural as possible. It'S natural to my capabilities. I don't know, and then i just make sure that the part is also very smooth and laid down. So after that we just go ahead and we lay it down with some wrapping paper and yeah she's. Looking good, i use this wrapping paper that i got from the beauty supply store. I like to use paper over scarves because it's so much more breathable, so it sets the the glue without it getting. You know kind of warm under there, so it really lets it dry and set properly. Can we talk about this texture? This is um the hair kind of gone through a little bit with a straightener. You guys saw the picture at the beginning from the website. It'S a very coarse, blowout texture and then, when you straighten it, it gets a little smoother and as you continue to straighten it, it gets smoother and smoother. So there's so much versatility here you can have it in that big puffy, blowout texture or a very sleek straight relaxed natural type of texture, which is what i'm going for. So i'm straightening it over again and i'm doing this on pretty high heat, but not too high. This is 100 human hair. So, yes, it can take the heat, but you also don't want to damage the hair. So i like to straighten this on yeah pretty high heat, but not too high, not all the way high, because i want this wig to last. It looks good. We want it to be healthy, so i'm not going to you know fry it. Of course, i'm just going through the hair, making sure it's nice and smooth look, how it's even getting softer and softer, and it still has some texture to it. It is straight, but guys there is still texture. Can we talk about that? It looks so freaking good. Yes, this is what i love. I love when it's like straight, but it still looks like um, i don't know, has, has a little bit of personality. You know i just added a little bit of wig wax. I think that's what it's called. It'S just a stick that gets rid of any flyaways and it lays your part, nice and flat, and then i go in with my rat tail comb and make sure my part is nice and clean, and now i'm just doing some finishing touches just making sure it's Polished and neat, and guys now that it's straightened look at the flow smooth, texture, shiny, yes, everything i need, and now i'm just taking off the wrapping paper and edges are laid. We are in business. My hair is not going anywhere at all. It stayed like this for like a week. It was amazing and then now i'm just adding a little bit of makeup a little bit of powder on my edges because there's some glue, that was, you, know, looking a little ashy and then i'm just you know. Precision is key cleaning it up and that's about it guys wow. This is my all-time favorite texture so far, and what i love about this is for someone like me who has a lot of hair around her edges. I can't do or i don't have time to do. You know the full closure frontal situation, so this just works. I can get that natural look without having to deal with too much lace and that just makes it easier for me to maintain and to apply to keep my hair protected. So i just tuck it behind my ears and you know slick my own edges. Obviously i could slip down my sideburns too, make it a little neater and it looks very, very natural, but the texture is everything. It looks like my hair straightened, but double the quantity, if i'm being honest, it's nice and dense, and it's healthy and it's shiny. So, of course, you guys can order this in the natural color or in a 1b color and yeah, it's so beautiful. I am obsessed obsessed so yeah. That is how i kind of tried out the tea part wig for the first time. I don't see any loss in having less lace and, if anything, it looks even more natural and i'm really happy that i plucked it and was able to have it all one level and match really nicely. So that's it. That was the process, so that is basically it for this video. That was the whole process. All i had to do was kind of match the lace part with the tracks, because of course the lace is only here and you want to make sure the density looks even which is inevitable when it comes to tracks they're, just a little bit more dense at The root, as opposed to lace, so then that means you have to do a little bit of plucking, depending on your style for the style that i want, which is this kind of like fresh press straightened. Look i had to do quite a bit of plucking just to make sure that it matches here here and here basically, so that is it for this video. I hope you guys enjoyed it. I will leave all the details down below, but let's get into this lace though yes, so easy and so natural, and i feel like it's exactly what my hair looks like when i go get it in a sew in when i do leave out. For with a? U part so many things, it's kind of like what i've been rocking, but just better for my hair, because i'm not actually you know, processing my own hair and um yeah. I hope you guys can see what it looks like when i do my own hair and u-parts and sew-ins versus this. It looks almost the same, and this is definitely my new look. So then my hair doesn't have to be out again i'm going to be trying out some different, wigs and stuff for the next little bit to see how i can take care of this part of my head and kind of repair. All the leave out. That'S a little bit tired and still have cute hairstyles. So this is the protective look that i want to share with you guys. I hope you enjoyed it all. The details will be in the description box down below and i will see you guys in the next one. Bye
