So now, let's get to me showing you the hair that we're gon na be working with this is the girl we're gon na be working with today. But today's wig is a teapot wig. It is a brazilian jerry, curly um wig. I'Ve never tried a j crazy before that's why i was like okay this time. Let me try that one and then i just said it as a teapot wig, although i did go back and try pluck it. As you can see, i did some work i'll put like a picture of the before and after right. Here show you guys that i'll be making some improvements. Okay, so yeah! This is the wig, it is 22 inches and these are the clothes at its natural state. I haven't done anything to it, okay, so this is the construction of the wig in the side um. Another thing i forgot to mention is the fact that the lace is quite dark. I don't know if they have this dark lace for every single wig they have, or they just send me this one, because i'm dark skinned, i really don't know, but anyway it is pretty um darker than my skin i'd like to think. But then my forehead is a bit darker than there is my face, so i think it would work like i don't know we'll just see um what we come up with. Also, i did bleach the knot so that, like um, this wig can look a bit more natural because, as you guys know how i feel about teapot rings, i feel like the idea, like the thought of it. Um was a great idea. It'S just the fact that it wasn't executed well, like the amount of lace that you have on the side. Like is literally nothing so um yeah, let's get to installing this okay, so first things. First, i'm obviously gon na put the wig on my head just to get a feel of it and then i'm gon na clip the hair up so that i can start cutting my ear tabs. I usually do this step off camera, but i've been getting a bit comfortable with the sleeve because i've been literally doing it so many times now. I feel like i'm confident in how to do it on camera. You guys will see that i always struggle. So i start small and then i cut more and more as i go just to make it a bit more comfortable on my ears. So here you guys will just see me doing that and what i find when i do this is that i always do my left side. I think better than my right side, it's just more easy and more comfortable for me to do um i mean to cut the left side, so um yeah and then what i am doing now is i'm just taking some mousse to just tame the flowers um, so That they don't interfere with me, um laying the wig down, and today i'm trying a different method that i always see on youtube at tik, tok and instagram, which is laying the wig down before i remove or cut the lace rather um yeah. I just wanted to experiment with this wig because obviously it's a teapot wig and you guys will see how that goes. I'M drying the glue down before i put on the band, because i don't want it to be sticky. If that makes sense, um then yeah. This is how it's looking um. I think it looks good, especially for a teapot wig. So now this is the part i struggled with because wow, especially when it came to the sides i felt like i was not even i felt like. I was literally cutting way too much lace, so i don't know if i'm gon na try this method again. Maybe practice makes perfect. I don't know i'll see you next time. I install a different wig because ciao this part took me like forever so yeah and i'm only going to show you one side, because i only did one side on camera. The other side. I was just like no ma'am, no ma'am, so yeah. That'S literally me struggling and i had to use my scissors to just yeah intervene. Basically and remember. I always say this in my videos that if you're using scissors to do this process, you must cut in a zigzag motion. I don't know if you can see, but the wig is laying on my hair and i feel like that's the one part um. The one reason why i don't like using this method, because i can't see exactly where the wig is laying and my hair does fall. A bit forward um more than the average person i feel, and then here i'm just sectioning the hair that i want to do my edges with and then i'm just like twilling it so that it's basically sectioned um. I want to try this method of like curling. It before i um lay my edges down. I just don't have a small enough color to do that and i'm afraid of using the color. I have because i have trauma from burning my face using um appliances, so i don't know how i'm going to do that. But yeah um now i'm just going to use the got to be um spray again just to remove that white um line that we all see um. This is just gon na make it melt better. Basically, so this is the second round of laying the wing um yeah, and this is also something i struggle with my baby hair like it takes me at least 15 minutes to get them right, but anywhere i'm practicing, because i never used to be um an ages Kind of girl i used to think they were taiki and you, but now i love them so now i'm back um. I'Ve done my face. I look cute or whatever so now. I'M just gon na use my white um tooth comb to just section the hair out and brush it out. I mean, then i'm gon na use um water, which is mixed with conditioner to just wet the hair and bring back the curls. Basically - and just look at that, you guys i absolutely love these curls like they are giving literally giving it's giving summer beach vibes like. I absolutely love these curls um, so yeah. I did this for quite some time because, as you can see, the hair is, or rather the hair volume is a lot. Then afterwards, i'm going to go in with my trusty old um on jackie's curla la which is basically a cold limb, defining cream, and it smells so good you guys, so i recommend that you get it now. I'M just gon na also scrunch my hair up, and i'm only doing this because i see other people doing it. I don't know for what reason and yeah. That'S the only reason i'm doing it now, i'm just going to apply a mousse and, as i said, i am trying a new mousse out. I usually use the aureus one but um. I borrowed a moose from my friend once and she had this one and i was like okay, it works um, it does what it needs to do so i'm gon na try it and it also smells really good. So i do love it um. Now i'm going to remove the band, and this is how everything is looking so obviously now i'm gon na blend everything out and, as you guys see, the dark lace actually melted, very well with my skin um yeah and also um. I feel like i did a good job with plucking this um teapot wig, because, as you guys know, teapot wigs are actually hard to customize. It'S actually hard to make a teapot wig look um natural or whatever, but i did that so now. I'M just gon na take concealer and just define my mid part um yeah, okay. So this part - i don't know what i was doing here - child or, if i messed everything up eye angers, but i was trying to form a line of the location between where the edges start and the rest of the hairline starts. But i don't know if i did well and i'm going in with the spray here again because, as i said in the beginning, i struggled with laying the weight down by my sideburns um butcher. I love it so much. The curls are so beautiful, it's so thick! It'S! I love it uh, and this is how it looks here in the front. As i said, it is a teapot wig and also the lace kind of blended well with my skin um. You can't hear from the camera that, like the laser darker but like from the from the mirror yeah, i can actually tell that this is darker, but it's okay.
