Trying My First U-Part Wig Install Hit Or Miss?? | Ft. Alipearl Hair

Hello, everyone and welcome back to my channel today's video is going to be a hair transformation. Hair install i'm going to be installing this beautiful wig that i got from allie pearl hair. They did send me this way, so it is a sponsored video, but nonetheless you will get my unfiltered undoctored, genuine thoughts and opinions and first impressions on this hair, because this would be. This is not my first time wearing allypro hair. I'Ve actually been a customer of their hair for years now, but this is the first time that they've sponsored a video, so they sent me this really cute wig that i'm really excited to try. It is a kinky straight okay. I don't think i've ever done. Real hair that was kinky straight i've done like synthetic hair but girl. This is real human hair. Okay, it's a u-part wig! This is look at how full it is. It'S a u-part wig. So i'm gon na have some leave-out of my own hair in the front which is gon na make it look so natural, it's gon na look so cute. I'M actually really excited for this transformation like oh, she gon na have a new look. I love having a new life. We love it. We love it here. It'S not gon na be every day, but it's gon na be three times a week, which i feel like is a really that's a good amount for you guys to see my face and for me to see you in the comments under the videos so yeah. Let'S just get into it because i'm talking like too much now, okay, so the first thing i'm gon na do i'm gon na straighten the hair, because i want it to just be a little bit more silky like i feel like. Let me show you what my hair looks like actually, my natural hair texture. So this is my hair. I washed it like not yesterday, but the day before i think, or maybe the day before, that i don't know, but it's clean. I just i didn't put any product in it. Um it's like stretched out. My natural curls are like literally not not there, it's just like frizz and honestly, it's a lot so um. This is my little afro, so i'm gon na go ahead and i'm gon na press out this wig so that it's a bit straighter and i'm gon na section out the part of hair that i'm gon na leave out and then i'm gon na straighten that too. But i'm gon na show you guys that part, but i'm very quickly just going to straighten this whole wig, i'm going to speed through it, because i don't think you guys need to see me straighten the whole wig. This hair is so so so full though let me actually get the specs for you guys on this hair. So this wig is 180 density um. It feels super full though, like it, it's saying it's 180, but it's really giving like 200, because it just feels so thick. But that's also because of the texture of the hair is a kinky straight. So it's gon na feel full regardless um, it's 18 inches, which i feel like is a really natural length. I don't think it's too long, but it's not like too short. It'S like right there in the middle. You know, so it's gon na be real cute. The inside construction, you have three of like the snappy clips with the comb around um, where you're gon na have your hair leave out. So there's three of those, so you can slide those in and then snap them close. So it's super secure and then there's um an adjustable strap along the nape of the neck and then there's another comb along the nape of the neck as well that you can just slide in and snap so that's the whole and then there's tracks. Of course, there's no lace but um, i'm gon na cut this little. It comes with like this little string, that's attached at the front just so you can like see how it'll fit on your head, but you're supposed to cut that off. So yeah i'm gon na go in and i'm gon na straighten this and then i'll come back to you guys when it's all straight and you guys can see what it looks like. But this is the before it's so full. The texture is so nice. It'S really soft and silky and there's no smell so yeah. I know show me your love show me advice, [, Laughter, ], you taste so good, loving yourself. Okay, so i just finished wow. I look so crazy. I just finished pressing out this wig. Oh, do you see the body? Do you see the body audio the flow of the hair? Ah, this is gon na look so good when i like get it on, but it's so so so so so so soft and smooth, i put a little bit of bio. Silk oil, which you guys saw just to like, add a little bit of shine, but this hair is really really really nice and the construction of the wig is very neat. I must say, like the stitching and everything of all the little tracks is very neat. You don't always see that i'm gon na do something with my hair now, because honestly yeah, so my hair there's nothing in my hair, there's no product, i don't know how i'm gon na get it to be. I need like a little section in the front, so i have to i'ma part it down the middle first. Oh it's so naughty. I haven't been sleeping with my i haven't been sleeping with my bonnet on. I'M gon na probably have to wet my hair, not all of it. Oh, why does it smell like this? I don't like that. I don't like it. I don't like it. Ah, don't brush your hair dry, kids! Don'T do it do not do this, it's actually not good for your hair at all, i'm parting down the middle. Just so, i can see what hair to grab and what i'm going to do like a little semi-circle curvy thing i don't want to have too much hair out, though i'm not trying to have i'm not trying to put heat on a lot of my hair. This is like low-key, the lazy, the lazy girl hack because i'm not gon na braid, my hair. I refuse that's just too much work and i don't. I don't leave my hair styles in long enough to where it makes sense to braid them. If i'm gon na leave this in for like more than a week, then yeah, but most of the times it's going to be in for a couple of days, you know: okay, we're doing something ow that might be kind of big. I'M gon na take some out of here, i'm just trying to make the part really clean. Okay, i like that wait. Let me just fix this yeah, that's better! So i'm going to twist this up and clip it there. I do want to take some of my edges out because i don't want to do baby hairs and i'm going to want to be able to tuck my hair behind my ear and not expose myself. Oh now i got ta get all of this hair: a nice little bun, i'm gon na use a combination of water in my eco styler, coconut um, coconut oil gel and i'm just slick. My hair back. I haven't had a brand new eco styler in a minute. Ah, okay, so i'm gon na be real heavy-handed with the the gel and just make sure that i grab everything. I'M gon na use two scrunchies. I usually always use two scrunchies. I'M gon na put my hair in a really really really low one. I'M going to take a wig cap and i'm gon na put a wig cap on just to really flatten my bun, like i mean pushing it into my head like if it stays or i could bobby, pin it too, i'm gon na do that just like pin My bun in a tucked position that way it's a little. It'S a bit more flush to my head, because you know our head goes in at the bottom, so that doesn't really create. It doesn't create a bump ever actually, every single time. I wear a wig. You can't tell that my hair is in a bun underneath it's because i don't have that much hair, because i kind of my hair pop my scalp is looking a little dry. I'M gon na take some of this jamaican black, castor oil mango and papaya. Take this. Like that yeah like that and this stuff smells so freaking good, ah makes you want to eat it. Just put it in your part. Put it in your pot, like this slide, this back a little a little bit more back here. Okay, like that, i'm gon na just leave that like that right, i want to try the wig on and see what it's looking like see. What'S giving you know, because i want to see oh girl she's fitted, what's going on here, what's going on here, ow! Oh, i left the clips open, that's what it is or just that one got ta cut it without cutting my hair yo. So i'm going to open these clips and i'm going to slide them in. Let'S, oh, oh there's another clip down here. Okay slide down the one on the side and the one right up here, i'm trying to get it as close to my part as possible, so that there's no, i can cover it's looking like it looks good. It looks like it's. My hair honestly, like especially up here, she's, very spacious, but i have a small head, so i think that's why it feels a little like. I still have mad space honestly. Oh, this is what it looks like from the back. You can't. Even you can't see. Nothing. Can you see nothing? Did she look like it's, not this oil on my scalp just to make sure that i'm gon na do a little bit of oil. Yeah rub it and just put it in my hair, i've had to tell you guys what flatter i'm using, but this is a baby bliss pro titanium flat iron. I got it from sally's beauty. I'M gon na link it i'm gon na, find the link and have it down below in the description box. For you guys, i really love this flyer. I know i originally wanted, like the the blue baby bliss like professional flat iron or whatever, but then, when i went in there to sally's, i asked the associate i was like. I see this is baby bliss, but it's not the one that i originally was coming for. Is this one good? She was like girl that one is so good. I have it and i have the blue one and they're like the same thing so, and this one was only like sixty dollars. The other one is like over a hundred dollars. It'S like 150 dollar bladder, or something like that. So i went ahead and i got this one and i love it. She does what she needs to do. I have it on 355, which is the third the third highest. It goes all the way up to 450.. Oh anyway, like i was saying, um, it's a really good flat iron, so yeah, that's pretty much it but ooh. My hair. Look at my this is my natural hair. Color is so light it's so naturally it's just like a really light. Brown color, especially like at the front of my head, the hair, just naturally i used to when i was younger up until, like probably like, 12 or 13. I had this strip of hair. That was blonde. It was like a really sandy brown blonde color that just grew out of my scalp, and it was just in the front and it was literally just a little section and then i don't know something happened and it stopped coming in that color. But my hair is really light. Naturally, the color of this. This is the natural color there. It'S like a dark brown. I don't have it on a super high heat, because i don't want to put too much heat on my hair. I don't like putting heat on my hair. That'S why i wear wigs honey, but occasionally i'll put some heat on my hair. I don't feel like it's bad like it's super bad. I used to be like no i'll, never put heat on my hair and i only like three years, three or four years, without putting any heat on my hair literally then i was like girl. Your hair is not healthy. I want to see what it looks like on this straight in and i straighten it. This is 2019.. I and straightened was like wow. My hair was so healthy, it looks so good and then i was like okay. Maybe we can go back to straightening your hair, but, like you know, every once in a while, like maybe like two times or three times out of the year, my hair, my hair, would be giving so i'm not shaking this yeah, it's blending, it's definitely blending. It'S just my hair is short, but the texture looks exactly the same as my natural hair, which is beautiful. Let'S do this piece back here. Okay, to be honest, i need a freaking haircut by a professional, because my hair is so blunt. I'M gon na put layers in this. I already knew i was gon na have to do that because of how my hair is cut. Ah yo, it's my hair being stiff. It'S really giving stiff wear right there right, [, __, ], deer yo. This brings me back this right here this little. This i used to straighten i used to be straight: bang straight: bang, curly bun. I was straightening my hair before school, making sure my little was all the way put together. You know, and then i have my little curly bun. The texture is literally spot on, like it's legit, perfect nah. Why look like that? Okay, so you guys know my hair is hella short, so i got these really short layers in my hair and in order to make this look, seamless, we're gon na have to cut some layers into these inches, which is what i honestly planned on doing anyway. But i'm gon na use this hair cutting sheer scissor thingy, it's a comb with like blades in it. You just cut your hair and you just drag it down your hair and it's going to cut it. There'S the wider side and then the smaller side. Let'S go in with the smaller side. First, i don't know if you guys won't be able to see, but you can see and as you pull down it cuts the hair. Yes and it's gon na layer, it i'm gon na just let the hair fall on the floor. I'M going over my hair too um, because my hair is just so blunt and honestly, i'm like. Why is it look so blunt because when i cut it, i cut it with scissors. So, oh, oh, the hair is dropping off. The hair is dropping off people um. I want to do like some face framing layers too. Okay, i'm gon na do my scissors. You know what it is guys i cut my own hair normally, so i'm really like. I have no issue putting a scissor to my hair um, but don't feel like you have to cut your hair in order to wear this, because my hair, just really, i have a really blunt cut, because that's the cut that i gave myself when i cut all My hair off and yeah, so i'm just trying to make it a little less blunt now that it's grown out, it's really like choppy, but it's definitely blending. I want it to be layered. I want like a 90s layered cut until you like really face framing here. In the front, okay, you see how i'm getting this side to blend better than this side. I haven't touched this side yet, but this side i'm getting more, so the look that i'm going for so i'm gon na just keep cutting until it looks the way i want it to look so i got it. I got it. You know i'm not gon na lie. Y'All had me in the first half okay, but then i prevailed, i'm not no hair, stylist but y'all see the cut. I was able to blend my hair so seamlessly on this side. You'Re, not telling me nothing. Okay, that's! Okay! I'M about to do the other side, but, like i can't explain what i'm doing you guys literally just have to watch me because i don't know what i'm doing but like you could watch me, though y'all go watch me though, like it's short, you can see the Short layer, but it's it blends like tucked behind the ear untucked and then from the front, is crazy. [, __ ], like that wow like 700 hours later, i need to get. I need to give you guys the full look. Okay, so i like originally saw like brown shades for this look and i have these shades from shop. Hope you get it that are giving the 90s vibe okay. 90S early 2000s y2k vibe. You know like it's giving what it needs to give you know and but then, but then they was like hey. Why don't you wear my glasses and i was like wait: the cardis, the kite um, this custom card that are so cute that literally like every time he has them i'd be like. Can i just like try them on because you don't need something i'm going to be asking i'd, just be looking at him and he's like: do you want to wear them? You'Re, like yes, um, the blue with the hair okay? So i really like the wig. I really love the quality of the hair, the construction of the wig. I literally have no issue with this wig at all. The issue i have is with my personal hair, one like the color of my hair, especially the ends. I didn't realize how light my ends were and they were like red. So when i like flatten them, when i flatiron them - and i saw them up against the the wig i was like yeah. My hair is completely like a completely different color, which is going to make it hard to blend. You know and then um. My hair is also dry, like i realize, like a lot of that, hair on the end was actually like dead and it needed to be cut, which is why i was okay with cutting my hair um because, like my ends, were super dry but honestly, like i Probably should cut more, but i can't cut more because it's just going to keep getting shorter and shorter and it's really low um short. But i do want to retry this hairstyle on a full like a full wig, like a frontal wig with no none of my hair left, though, because i feel like the way that i cut and layered the fringe came out so good like it actually looks the Way that i layered this so cute, though it's getting throwback lives, it's giving 90s, it's giving mariah carey, it's giving aaliyah it's giving um. You know just 90s aesthetic, black girl, aesthetic, holly, berry, tyra banks, who else was there in the 90s? So many lit 90s girls. It'S a look for the girls yeah, i'm gon na take pictures in these glasses because i do like the blue um, but yeah. That'S my overall review of this hairs. I really like it so yeah yeah, just for yourself, okay, i'm probably gon na - be wearing this. For like the neck, the rest of the week, or at least a couple of days, so i'm going to try other styles, but this hair, probably like blonde curls or something something cute.
