How To Prep And Install A U-Part Wig!

Hey y'all welcome back to my channel, so if you guys are new to my channel, you probably haven't seen it, but I posted a video a while back with some styles that you guys can do with the u-part wig. And some of you wanted to know how I actually installed the u-part wig you like what my hair look like under it all that good stuff. So this video I'm just going to be explaining the entire process. This is the! U part wig that I got from her giving hair it isn't extra curly, but I brush my out to get this look, which I'm also going to talk about in this video, so yeah, let's jump right into it. So after you cut the little piece of lace off, this is what you have and, as you can see, I ended up cutting off one of the clips, so I'm just going to go ahead and sew that back on I'm going to show you guys how I Do that so I'm just taking a needle and thread and I'm going to put the needle through and make a little knot and then I'm just going to sew the needle through the rest and of course, at the end, I secure it with another knot. And now you can see on there it's my sista cure, so I'm just going to take my scissors and go ahead and clip off this extra string. Now, as you guys can see, it does have an adjustable strap. But to me it wasn't that secure. So I'm just going to go ahead and take a piece of elastic. I got my elastic from Walmart. I believe I'm going to measure it on my head. It didn't take off about an H and then this is how I'm going to sew it on. So I used the same method I did when I was sewing back the clip, and this is what I have at the end now in order to get it blown out like I showed you guys, I'm just going to go ahead and use my Denman brush to Brush out the curl, the curl pattern is what it looks like we wash it and let it air dry, it's so freaking cute, but it doesn't really match my hair texture. So it's easier for me to just blow it out and now I'm showing you guys how I measure how much hair I need to leave out. I just put it on with my hair loose and then part out the hair that needs to be left out. As you can see, I don't really follow the whole. You heart shape. Y'All know I'm super lazy. I just feel like that would be so much extra work that I'm not trying to do so. The good thing about this is that I don't have to wait. I can put it on, however, I want to so once I secure that front piece out of the way I'm just going to put the rest of my hair in four braids super simple. Once I'm done with the brains, I'm using bobby pins to just pin them up, and I'm not really doing this in any specific way, I'm just doing one braid at a time, and now I'm just going to go ahead. Put the wig on put the clips in make sure it's nice and secure. I did it from the back clip thing, which is why at the intro in this video, you can kind of see the back of it. Lifting up. I completely forgot. There was a clip in the back honestly because I had the elastic so it felt secure, but I just make sure you plan all the clips in, and this is what it looks like when I take my hair out and just brush it out. Super big love. It and then you're just going to go ahead and style. Your hair. However, you want to now. I do have that video that I mentioned at the beginning, with a bunch of different styles, you guys can do today. I just decided to twist up the front and pin it in the back with a clip and yet guys that was basically it start to finish when it comes to dyeing the hair. I actually just did it the same way.
