Natural Hair Vibes Kinky Straight V Part Unit | Easy Install | Ali Pearl

Foreign welcome back to my channel. Today'S video is going to be a hair review, slash hair tutorial. I am so excited to be reviewing this unit from Ali Pearl today. You guys, I mean it's. Giving very much stunning like the unit is absolutely beautiful. I mean straight out of the pack like gorgeous, so let's go ahead and jump right into the unboxing okay guys. So today's video is brought to you by Ali Pearl. This is their kinky straight V, part unit along with your unit. You are going to get a few little goodies in your bag. You get a pair of lashes, a wig cap, an edge brush, an elastic band as well as a little satin tie that you can use to lay down her edges or lay down your lace. If you have a lace unit - and this is the unit straight out of the pack - it does come like kind of connected in the middle. I just went ahead and clipped that once I actually applied it to my head, but you guys can see the unit is pretty long. It is 24 inches long and it is very thick. It is 180 percent density as well. I knew as soon as I took this unit out of the pack and felt it that I was in love immediately. You guys it is so soft it does come with Combs you get a comb in the back. You get about five Combs Around The Parting area and you do have those elastic straps that you can use to adjust the size. So as soon as I got the unit, I basically went ahead and dyed it. It does come in like your regular, like kind of off black natural color, but I do want to make sure that the unit was actually black so that it would match my hair, because I'm going to be dyeing my hair as well, I usually use a box Dies on my own natural hair, as well as on any type of units that I color. This is just the Revlon color: silk box dye. You know everything comes in the Box. You really just combine everything in the bottle: shake it up and you're ready to go. This is a super quick, easy way to dye your natural hair and dye your units. So basically I just went ahead and started to color it. I applied the dye and then you just kind of raked it through with my fingers and it's a pretty simple and easy process, and after I did this, I went ahead and used the same Black Box die on my own natural hair. I usually dye my hair in like four sections, so I went ahead and just sectioned it off went ahead and applied the dye all over my hair. Let it sit and then I rinsed it out and just make sure that my hair is black. The unit is black, so everything just Blends seamlessly foreign. There is nothing like a fresh color job like a fresh black about to die. Like my hair looks so good, it just looks so dark and I just love it like. Oh, I let the hair air dry for a few days and then I went in and flat ironed it. You guys can see the unit basically stays in this straight State and I did use a little bit of heat protectant on it. I use the trust that my heat protected and I pretty much just sprayed it on each section, as I flat ironed the unit foreign, this unit doesn't really hold a curl, so it is best to keep it just straight and flat on it. I did not try to actually do like any wand, curls or anything, I'm not sure if that would hold up well, if I use like Hairspray or something, but if you do want just something nice long straight, this is definitely a go-to foreign the unit. It looks absolutely beautiful. I love the way it came out. You guys the unit is so soft. It honestly feels amazing. Now, once I got ready to do the unit, I decided for this type of style that I was actually going to braid my hair. So I have leave out in the middle and then leave out along the sides, but the rest of my hair is actually braided up and you guys can see when I get ready to apply the unit, how it looks so I'm just kind of sectioning off my Leave out in the middle just kind of clipping it away, and you guys can see how my hair is cornrowed. I believe I have like three on each side and I think, like five or six in the back. This is, of course, gon na all depend on the thickness of your hair. Some of you guys may not even need to braid up your hair at all. You may be able to just put it in a ponytail and keep it pushing, but for me my natural hair is very thick, so I did go ahead and just cornrow down the back and now you guys can see I'm just securing the comb. So you basically get two on each side and then one like in the back by the part, and then you get one along the nape of the neck and you get two on each side like by your ear tabs. So after you secure all those in place, then you can go ahead and kind of work on your leave out now. This unit is definitely big head friendly. I actually ended up cutting a little bit of it um at the front. Just because I felt like it was sticking up a little bit like poking through my leave out, so I ended up cutting a little bit of that off. So it's definitely big head friendly you're not going to have any issues with it and if you do have a smaller head, it does have those elastic bands that you can secure. So you guys can see here, I'm just kind of playing around with my leave out and trying to get it to blend. This was definitely very difficult if you guys are not new to my channel. You know that I have been talking about possibly relaxing my hair. This winter um - I have not done it yet. I kind of wanted to give myself a little less Stitch effort at trying to do straight, hair, trying to do Straight natural, hair and kind of like blending it with this type of unit. We'Re going to discuss the products that I used on my natural hair and the method technique, all of that in a separate video. So if you guys want to see that definitely be sure to subscribe to the channel turn your post notification stick around, so you guys can see when I do discuss those products foreign, but, as you guys can see here, I'm kind of going through with the flat Iron, just to kind of blend everything I'm using a little bit of this, like Shine Serum gloss that I have to kind of try to blend everything in together, you guys can see that my hair is giving very much frizzy, okay, so um I wanted to play Around and try a few different styles, one of them was kind of the flip over style and then there's also this half up half down. So this unit is definitely versatile for sure you can either do the straight middle part. You can do the flip over and have kind of a side part you can bring part of your leave out to the top as well as a little bit of the unit and do like a cute half up half down. If you leave hair out in the back, you could possibly do a ponytail or like a bun or something like that as well. So you can definitely play around with this unit and try out some different styles.
