This hair that i got from my teenage hair now, a lot of you all just subscribed to my channel from that last video with the tina hair with this kinky straight hair welcome sit stay a while. I have a train. You want some girly poison. Let me tell you something: this kinky straight hair is a gift. Now i think kinky straight hair from any company is the same. I mean i really don't know. This is the first time i've gotten kinky straight hair, so you already saw in that last video that i could not curl this hair, like it just wasn't: curling with a hot curl, so miss mama's, brit saron gave us a little tip that we need to do A roller set on this type of hair because it will not hold a curl. Thank you for the tip, so i tried a roller set and i'm gon na show you how i did it so y'all can see how i got this look now. The curls are pretty they're bouncy they're beautiful, i feel like. I wanted to show y'all how i got it now. I got a couple of thoughts at the end, but in all in all the wig is wigging. She always does that this is the community here, we're all trying to figure out how to do hair in the best way. So, when y'all send me messages, i'm gon na try what y'all say and then i'm gon na see if it works. Now i haven't washed this hair since the last time i wore it, it's still a little bit straightened out by the curling iron, but, as you can see, mama didn't hold. The curls mama decided that she doesn't curl and she wasn't gon na curl. I don't know if you can tell, but there are a couple of layers in here but they're like baby layers. I want it to look like layers we're gon na start off by layering the hair. I would like to preface this with i'm, not a hairstylist. A lot of my hairstyles work out, so i'm uh, i'm a spiritual hairstylist, i'm led by my ancestors when it comes to hair. So we're going to start by parting for curtain bangs, i'm going to do a little triangle so boom on this side. So i'm just gon na cut, oh my god, let's shorten this a little bit more! This is what i'm looking for and then we're just going to part right here on the side. I don't know about y'all, but it's just easier for me to part with my fingers. I think i just need to lean into this layer a little bit more yeah just lean into it. Yes and we're gon na do the same thing to the other side. I hope you all know i'm playing this by ear and i really don't know what i'm doing suck in mama pull this up. There you go. I want to do longer layers right here, so i'm just going to just kind of trim off the bottom like right. Here and just angle it, oh it's hard to cut like this. Do kind of feel like it'll it'll, be better if i angled it just a tad bit more. Oh, no, oh she's, giving layers we're liking. How it looks i think i did enough layering now. We need to do our roller set, so i watched a video. What was her name i'll go ahead and leave a link for the video that i watched down below because i forgot her name but i'll leave it on the screen and i'll leave it down below y'all know i like to cite my sources. Okay, did you know her natural hair, great video, so i'm going to be following her tutorial, i'm going to be using a product. This is the ors olive oil hold and shine wrap set mousse. Now this is my sponsor girl. I just picked this up from the store. I think she was a cute five six dollars and it's supposed to tame frizz, add body and be fast drying. I have a couple of types of rollers. I have these rollers and then i have these rollers, like the smaller ones girl. When i run out of some i'm just going to use the other ones. So we're going to be using these rollers and i think they're, annie rollers and we're going to use the jumbo annie rollers in these little. These are sliding clips and we i got them from my local beauty supply store. What homegirl has said she said: we're gon na have to do the hair in sections, so we're gon na start doing the middle section here. So i'm gon na start here and just part like i mean loki like i feel, like i'm doing my natural hair. You can't tell me to say mine, okay, so we're just going to twist away this section and then we're going to do the other side. In case you didn't know, this is a 360 lace frontal and, like i said, if you wanted more information on this hair, you can check my last video. So we have our hair section from the root to the tuna. Let me show you the back, can't see this is going to be a whole prayer. I do. I hope this isn't a fail. Let'S sip, some tea cheers so we're gon na start in the front. Let'S start right here: okay, so i'm going to take my mousse. Oh she's, giving just most texture y'all this. I wonder: if i'm putting enough in here there we go, we got to make sure we get these ends. This hair is really long. Oh, this is about to be some trouble honey. I'M about to use this whole bottle. Put this one section: a little half the hair around and then roll it down. Okay, y'all see we're rolling the hair down rolling it down. Will this work yup that works? Okay, we're gon na part, another section so we're just gon na squirt right into the hair. Saturate do the same thing again: i'm just gon na comb, her out make sure we, okay, we're gon na wrap. These ends around mama said, make sure it's smooth and then we're going to roll. I think this section was a little bit too large, but that's okay and we're gon na do our front pieces right. So our front part is done. Our rollers are in, but we're just going to work through the rest of the head. We'Re going to go through this back part, y'all can just watch me work and then i'll check in with y'all in a minute. But let's get let's keep rolling. Let me show you how to bike so we're just going to go ahead and do the curls at the back of the head, so i'm curling everything downward backward. I don't know if that's the right turn, but downward or backward i'm curling everything in the same direction. So on this section i actually curled it in a different direction, because that's what um, i think, uh miss fair lady, did on her video. So i'm just gon na go ahead and curl upwards. I'M not sure, i'm not sure if it made a difference, but i feel like that's what she did, so i just copied her one mistake that i made and you'll see me make this mistake is i put i left too much hair at the bottom. I could have separated this last section into two sections and i only did it in one and i use that tiny little roller. It'S best to use these rollers because they have they allow air to move through and it keeps the hair dry. So the black rollers took a lot longer than the orange ones, which is fine. I have nothing but time, but if you are stressed for time, don't do what i did so i just continued to curl the hair and i ran out of those orange rollers. So i used the black ones, but the curls ended up looking just fine, but i just wanted to show you all the method and kind of get you on to groovin. You know what i did, but y'all can just keep on watching and then i'll be back with the final curling results. Okay, so i have completed rolling all of my hair. So now i need to go ahead and sit under my dryer where's. My dryer put it dryer. You can also use one of those detachable dryers, but i have a hooded dryer. It was only like 30 bucks for my local beauty supply store, but i think you can get them online for like 30 bucks too. Hopefully it's gon na dry within the next 30 minutes and i hope it don't sweat off my head. So this is my hooded dryer, it's from stella for salon girl. But, oh, let me show you all the back. Let me show you what it looks like in the back girl. This is gon na be a mess. I hope this works. So i'm going to take my wrap strips my rapid strips and see. If i can oh, this is going to be. Oh, i can't. Oh no, this is fine. I ain't even really wrapped it, but it's fine, but i'm going to sit under the dryer and then i'm going to come back and show you what it looks like. So i sat under the dryer for maybe 30 minutes and then i noticed parts of my heads were not dry, so i used a diffuser, i almost burnt my head girl. It hurt air real bad, but just don't use those rollers. That'S all i could say y'all. I figured out something these rollers are terrible for long hair roller sets. I use these for my short hair, but the long hair. No. I hope this is dry okay, so this is dry, come on somebody, okay, let's go ahead and get to taking these down. I'M really frustrated because the rollers that i put in the back will not dry. I put too much hair on these ones in the back so bro, i don't girl, let's go ahead and take these down we're gon na let these curls bounce out honey. Oh it's cute, even though all of them didn't dry. I oh girl, i'm happy so i'm gon na take my diffuser real quick, because one of these curls is not fully dry and i just need to. I need to get her dry. Real, quick. These curls are looks so good, but i'm just gon na separate and finger comb these curls and see what we get. Oh, yes, we're getting body oddie, i'm gon na, take a wide tooth comb and we're just gon na mama wow. These are some curls for the girls. Yes, a mayhem. I don't think this side part goes with this. Oh and she parted like a dream like butter. Okay, i need to quit playing in this hair. I did the roller set and i love the way it looks, but the feeling on my fingers hate it hate it. So much brit saron was exactly correct. You definitely do need to do a wet set, but i think this product it has too much residue and it stops the hair from being like soft and fluffy. It has like this when i'm running my hands through it's kind of getting like stuck it, but as far as the rollers that baby baby, these waves cannot be touched. Let me show you all the back.
