Ivy'S Flip-Over Wig Method | Natural Hair Protective Style| Klaiyi Jerry Curly Hair

Hey: what's up y'all, it's your girl, the kids me and i am back again with another video. As you can see from the title, i am going to be doing ivy's a flip over method. Now this is my first time doing this y'all. So i definitely can say not too bad for the first time. So, as you can see, this is just the unboxing of the hair. I i'm going to be using three of the jerry curl hair from clayey hair. As you can see, this is me showing you, the hair on the screen, love how thick the hair was and how they're the thickness from the top all the way down to the ends of the hair. So, as you can see, we're going to go ahead and start with prepping the actual wig, i would suggest you use an actual wig cap and not the one that i'm using i'm using a mesh cap, and this is all i had in the house. But i wouldn't suggest you use the mesh cap because the actual glue will bleed right through and that's why. You see me with the plastic bag underneath the actual wig cap, because i knew because of the small little holes inside of the wig cap that it was going to leak through the cap. Here, i'm just going to be showing you the glue that i'm going to be using and the pump it up. Spritz that i use you can get it from your local beauty supply store. I also got the wig cap from my local beauty supply store and it is in the extra large because i am a 23 inch circumference. So i do understand in this video that you're going to see me put in a lot of glue and a lot of spritz, but i'm telling you i had to do that because of the type of cap that i had. I had to make sure that it actually stick now, i'm more so a visual person, so this is going to get repetitive, but you pretty much just put the glue down. You put this spritz on top of the glue just for an extra hold, and then you lay the track down. You blow dry it and then cut it, and then you move along to the next portion. It'S a little bit complicated at the top portion, to which i feel like ivy explained it so well in her video. I love her and her channel been following her for years. She is one of my faves, so i'm definitely going to put her information down in the description box. You can check out her video as well, but i'm just going to let you watch the video and i'm going to come back at the end for review. So here you'll see me take one small piece of the hair and i flipped it the opposite way. I did this just to give my hair a little bit more height at the top, when i flip it when i actually flip the hair over and then after this, i feel, like i messed up a little bit but again, first time not too bad, but for Right here i feel, like i left too much space for me to go ahead and do the small single pieces. So i would suggest you leave smaller space, but i'm going to cut the hair into smaller pieces and go ahead and glue those inside of the wig and then you'll see how it gives it that flip over effect after you, after you do this all right. So, as you can see, this is the finished look. This is my first time trying the flip over method and i absolutely love it. So what i did after i got done making the wig was. I went ahead and i defined the curls, i'm always into defining my curls. I never really wear them the way that they come in, that uniform state when you take the hair out of the pack, so i went ahead and i spray the hair with water. Now, if you want to go ahead and wash and condition your hair, you should, before you use the method that i use to make this wig, because once you glue the hair onto the stocking cap, it's going to be a disaster. If you try to wash the hair after that, so make sure you already wash and condition the hair first before um installing well before making the wig. I did not wash and condition to me. I did not need it. It didn't have a bad smell to it. So i skipped that step now after i made the wig, i went ahead and sprayed my hair down with some water, and then i used two of my favorite mousse one is a foaming mousse and the other one is a regular mousse and the first one is Going to be by a lot of body, i swear by this uh foaming mousse like it's the best for curly hair. If you have curly hair get this and then the other one that i'm using is going to be is going to be this mousse and it has avocado and jojoba oil in it, and i love that and it's actually all free, not oil, free alcohol. Free excuse me, so that's why i love this one. So i go in with the lotta body one to go ahead and define the curls, and then i go in with a more of a extra hold mousse to go ahead and lock the curls in to find the curls with my denman brush. And this is what we got now when it comes to my natural hair at the top. I went ahead and i just took a little bit of leave out y'all. I barely have any leave out. I use some flexi rods. Flexi rods come in many different sizes, but i use the smallest ones that i have here at the house. Don'T know what size these are so um. Sorry, i can't tell you what the size is, but these are the size and you can see they're all messed up because i literally just took them out, but these are the many sizes that i use to go ahead and set my natural hair overnight and then, When i woke up in the morning, i had this springy curl. Let me see if i can kind of show you what it looks like. So that is my leave out and that's what it looks like and what i did with my leave out is. I just went ahead and i just took some of the actual curls and just twisted around the actual hair. Well, that's gon na look crazy because i just pulled it out, but that's all that i did and then, as you can see, the way that you made the wig it literally flips over from one side to the other side. If you prefer it to be on your left side or your right side, but the way that i teased it, i teased it to go this way, because this side, my right side, is normally where i wear my part and what i love so much about this Hair is definitely going to be the curl pattern. I love thick hair and so with this curl padding. Not only does it give me that thickness, but it gives me that coily tight curl that i like so yes and, of course you know with this a flip over method wig. Of course you can leave some of your hair out, but if you wanted to it can turn into a half wig as well. You can wear some cute headband pieces, some scarves, you can do it up, but i just love how natural it looks, how much it blends in like. So i'm absolutely loving this hair from cloudy hair. I believe it's cloggy clay, i'm gon na just say claw ye, because that's the way that i originally pronounced it, so i'm gon na put all the information down in the description box, of course.
