Best U-Part Kinky Straight Wig | Beauty Forever | Beginner Friendly

Hey youtube: welcome to my channel today, i'm going to be reviewing the beauty forever. Kinky straight upart wig that i purchased from aliexpress inside the box. You'Ll see i have a wig cap as well as an adjustable band. I don't know why you would need a wig cap, meaning that this unit is a? U part, so i will have leave out so taking the hair out. I noticed that the texture is very soft. The kinky texture looks great. The ends are nice and full not getting any smells or shedding for this initial. Just look through so inside you'll see there are three teeth along the top parts. You have two teeth on each side in the front and then you have teeth on the bottom as well. So now i have on the unit just fresh out of the box just so you can take a look at what it looks like. So now i'm going to begin to customize it a bit just to be able to wear for this first day, so i'm clipping off the lace that they had attached and i'm going to just slide it on. So what was very frustrating about this unit as you'll see, is that there is no way to secure that end piece. It'S literally just flapping and you're, just not able to secure it. So i really do not like that. I don't know why they wouldn't have maybe like a smaller clip where you can secure those ends of the wig, so make sure you stay tuned for my quick fix on how i um added a clip on there to secure that, and this look is basically just Fresh out of the box um, i just flat ironed it to blend my hair and i haven't done any customization, and this is the final look for day: one hey y'all, so this is day one of me wearing the hair. I just got off work, so this is, i mean this is how the hair looks. I did not do much to it. The only thing that i did to it for today was i flat ironed the top pieces around my hair a little bit and then i slipped my edges down. Obviously, but i haven't done any other type of customization to the unit yet and i'm going to do that tomorrow, but i just wanted to show you how it looked - and this is like after a whole day where it is still super soft, very minimal. It'S hanging tangling, no shedding um loving the first day. Look so the very first thing i wanted to do was add some clips. So this is the before picture, and this is the after picture. You can see that i've sewn on two individual clips on each side. So that i can secure the tips of the wig, i don't know why they didn't do that initially, but this will help you out a ton. Next, i'm going to add some curls. I love curls and i also just want to see how the curls hold up with this type of texture a lot of time with the kinky texture hair. It is a hard time getting that type of hair to hold a curl. So i just showed you the curling mechanism that i'm going to use. I feel like this kind of gives me the tightest curl i tried using a regular wand, curl, maybe a half an inch size and i felt like the curls fell very quickly, so i used that tool instead, and this is the end result of my curls. For my hair, i actually put in a flexi rod so that i don't have to put heat on my hair as much. I'M still trying to limit that. Even though this is a u part unit. So as you'll see, my hair is curl and that is from a flexi rod. So i'll go ahead and start blending and then this is the curl. Look so i'll be back later to show you how the curls held up if they lasted whatever so obviously i've slipped. My edges down pulled those curls out a bit and i think it came out very great. It looks really good. The curls are gorgeous. So, let's just see if they're gon na last, all right y'all. So it is nighttime i'm about to get ready to go to sleep, and i just wanted to show you all how the curls held up for this unit. So you have my before pictures of when i first finished curling my hair, and then this is after a full day of wear. I have been out to ikea marshall's home goods. I'Ve been everywhere today, and so this is how the curls still look after being outside um being around a million people they, the curls, are still very defined. Now i do have a little bit of um tangledness. My hair is entangled. It looks really good. It'S still really big and full. I can still see the definition in the curls now with my curls. I did not comb my hair out at all. When i finished the wave, i literally didn't touch it. I didn't comb it. I just let the curls in the way just naturally fall, so this is the result of it and, like i said it's still not tangled. I got a finger comb all of this part up here, which i won't do, because i don't want it to get too big, but it still looks really good and for nighttime. I am going to go ahead and take this unit off um, because i don't feel like having to flexi rod this and doing all the extra work tonight. For my hair, i'm going to put um the flexi rod in which is kind of how i had the curl definition in my hair and then i just kind of like bumped my roots a little bit just to make it lay a bit better but um. This is what i will be putting on my natural hair to go to sleep and i'm going to take the youth, her wig off um for bedtime, and that's going to be it for me. But as far as like the curls holding up today, i think they did really really well, especially for kinky hair. If you wear kinky hair, you know, kinky hair does not always hold a curl, and so for my curls to be this is defined after a full day of wear. I am very impressed, so it gets to a for holding curls alrighty. So i'm about to wrap everything up now, so i showed you. The cap construction told you that i feel like they should put some clips in the front so that we can secure the front part of this unit. I showed you curls how impressed i was with the curls, and so as far as the longevity of this wig, i have been washing it every two weeks in line when i wash my own hair, i'll, shampoo it and then i'll do a couple of rounds of Conditioner on it, let it sit and i'll let it air dry overnight, and then i have been flat ironing it to give it more of a permed look so to say the natural texture you seen that earlier in the video, it's really big. So for me, i prefer to have it a little bit more tamed and i'll go ahead and flat iron it and then i'll do my curls, and so that's kind of how i achieve the look that i have right now, so washing it. It goes right back to the texture. You can get that bounce back that softness back. I will say close to the time where i'm getting to where i'm starting to need to wash the hair um. I will notice that it might tangle a tad bit more than when it is freshly washed and conditioned. So that's another way to be able to track when it might be time to go ahead and wash it as far as products when i am curling it and flat ironing it. I do use heat protectant and this does give you some shine and then in between curling times, because curl these curls, that i put in the unit typically lasts for a few days, and so maybe every year, every other day or so. I will use the garnier fruity sleek and shine anti-frizz serum, so those are the only two products that i have been using on this unit, so it's very low maintenance, um shedding very minimal, usually only when i'm coming through it um when i'm kind of like detangling At the end of the night, throughout the day, i'm literally finger combing. I don't even feel the need to have to carry a big wig brush around, because the unit looks great. I just got off work. I haven't even done anything to this. Besides finger combing, it and i've been at work for about eight nine hours today, and so it's very minimal um. What'S my word very minimal maintenance, which is what i love about this unit, and it looks good and one more thing that you'll notice is that today, i'm actually wearing this unit as a side part. So this wig is a you partner. It is meant to be in the middle, so i did some twisting some turning some reason. I braid my own hair too tight, and so it's a little bit tight in here, but i was able to shift it now. It'S not laying as flat as i would like to in the back underneath. However, i think i was able to pull it off and i think it looks pretty decent on the side, but just keep in mind that, like the comb that should be in the back is like over here on the side um. Just because everything literally is shifted. But i think i was able to pull it off and i think it looks pretty decent, so you do have a little bit of flexibility with this unit, not too much. It really is made to be a middle part unit um, where you obviously have something out. Um but overall i have had no complaints with this unit. It looks good i get tons of compliments on it. I love the kinky texture hair. I love that it holds a curl. I love the length of it. I love the fullness of it. It still gives you a very natural look, especially for my chocolate girls.
