I love you guys, thank you for making me feel better. Even though y'all see this, i actually feel better. I just like really appreciate this outlet, like the fact that i get to do this and talk about my feelings and stuff like that. Even though this is like a hair video, whatever hey guys, welcome to my channel, it's your girl chris k, um. I know i look like a wet dog right now, but i really felt the desire and inclination to make this video. So this video is just going to be um, whatever god wants it to be. It was going to be just like how i installed my u-part, because i did start wearing u-part wigs. That'S what i had on my last video um and my braids and everything just was a mess and my wig was not laying flat, as you all can see in the last video. So i just wanted to come on here and do that process, but also talk to you guys about my night and just talk to you guys about some self-care things, um that i am just trying to do, because this adjustment living alone now and um, just being By myself it gets hard, so sometimes i just feel really weighed down. I feel like um. I don't know like. Sometimes it's like hard for me to do things like i really be having to push myself to like make sure i get done the things that i need to get done and i haven't really been like in the way i've been looking lately, so that in turn Makes me like get weighed down, so that's why i really stay on top of um, my health and my physical appearance, and i try to make sure my hair stays done or at least kept. So i'm not just in these depressive moves, because how can you just be happy if you don't? Oh look at the eyelashes. How can you be happy if you don't like the way you're looking um yeah, so i am about to do my hair, i'm going to blow dry it off camera because you know blow drying is like loud. I guess so. I don't know if i'm going to record that like a the speedy thing, whatever um but my eyes is right side, i wear contacts and i just got the shower and it is nighttime. So it's like time for my contacts to be out, but i don't really care how i look right now. I just really wanted to come on here and make a video this stuff makes me feel better. So thank you guys for being there for me. I would really appreciate if you guys comment on my videos more um. It lets me like see you guys more and get acquainted and like i'll, be like matching my customers up with the people that be commenting on youtube, i'm wearing like that whatever, but um yeah. I'M about to just blow dry, my hair, let me show you the products that i use. I can at least do that. So i just started using this product. It is called. I look like a ghost. I should probably leave pollution, but i'm not going to i'm sorry y'all if y'all made it this far y'all, don't really you're, not too scared with the way i look but um yeah, i'm going to use. Camille rose, moisture milk, and this is you're like supposed to use a water-based moisturizer um when you are trying to just like, retain your hair and your length and stuff like that, because oils do not lock in moisture to your hair. So you have to use a water-based moisturizer first and then you use a oil on top of it and that will seal the moisture in your hair. So your hair is not dry and breaking off, because it's not that our hair is not growing. It'S very much growing, it's just that the ends are breaking off because they're dry. So i'm going to put some of this in there - i'm not going to do too much, and i'm only going to put it in in sections, because last time was my first time using it, and i put too much and my hair took forever to blow dry. Like the hair was not blow drying, so i'm going to use this and i'm going to use my mom's shea butter to lock in the moisture after i blow dry and then i am going to come back to show you guys a cornrow tutorial because um somebody Asked about cornrows for the girls who know not to break so i might do the cornrows and stuff tomorrow when sun's out and stuff like that, but i'm definitely going to blow dry my hair tonight, because i cannot go to bed with a wet head. So yeah love, you guys, you know what i decided. I'M gon na do a quick little blow dry tutorial for my girls who don't know how to blow dry um. A lot of my friends always tell me, i don't know how to blow dry. So i'm gon na just do something quick. This is all i'm using because if i feel like i need more, then i will use it, but i only have this part of my hair section off right now, because normally i section my hair into fours and blow dry each section, but i feel like this Way it's just going to be more efficient. I don't want to get my hair too too, too, straight and fluffy, since i am cornrowing it because my hair is like kind of soft and it comes out of the braids very very easily. So i don't want to get it too straight, but i just put this in there um the water uh moisturizer thing, and then i am going to blow dry, my hair. So what i have is old school blush. I have a little wire. It'S not ugly like this one, then you probably don't have a strawberry. So i have this paddle brush. I got from the hair store. You can get this from anywhere. Marshalls y'all know where to get bad questions from so i'm gon na turn it on you're, not gon na, be able to hear me once i turn it on i'm gon na turn it on take this paddle brush like this in my hair and i'm just going To blow the heat on the paddle brush and then just go down like like this go down my hair with the paddle brush. Just like that. Just like that, let me show you guys there we go. I think that was less than a minute and where it goes right but, like i said this, this moisturizing stuff, like it's hard to dry, my hair with it like my hair, is still wet so um, i'm just gon na, since it's pretty much blow dry. I'Ll, probably just go through it at the end and just dry, the whole head, but yeah, i'm gon na, do that to my whole head, i'm probably gon na take a bigger section. I feel like this way is a little more efficient than doing it in fours. Like i feel like it's just quicker, i don't know, but i'm gon na take a bigger section this time and then i'll have this section and i'll just have this part to finish so yeah bye, guys i'll be back when i'm done um blow drying. Oh and remember to comb it out before you start blow drying it with a wide comb. Oh and that's not it either. I have some castor oil, i'm going to put um. I have like a quarter size of the meal in my hand, and i'm going to rub that in my hair i love castor oil. I just don't like to put it on my scalp, because castor oil is a like anti-fungal oil. So what it will do is like pull bacteria out of your scalp and that process is very, very itchy. So i don't really have any like issues in my scalp like that, where i would need that. So i'm just going to not put that on my scalp. Like yeah, so castor, oil is very, very good for your hair too. I just feel like it makes my hair feel so much stronger and thicker, so i put the shea butter with the other essential oils in it, and this has shea butter, coconut butter, olive oil, coconut oil, peppermint and tea tree oil, and then this is castor oil. So that's what i'm putting my hair um, i don't know i'll probably like i don't know what i'm going to do to sleep in it. Probably just put it in a bun but yeah y'all i'ma talk to y'all and the a.m bye. I love you guys. Thank you for making me feel better, even though y'all see this, i actually feel better. I just like really appreciate this outlet, like the fact that i get to do this and talk about my feelings and stuff like that, even though this is like a hair, video whatever but y'all know like i told y'all, even though i don't do hair, i mean Even though i do hair, this was never intended to be a hair channel. So if i do do hear anything on there on here, i'm happy that i'm like talking about like lifestyle and mental health stuff as well, because this ain't just about this is not a hair channel. This is a overall wellness channel, so yeah this is, might buy for the third time bye all right guys, so i'm all done blow drying. I only use the water-based moisturizer and i got a little bit of inches y'all. I got my hair into a bob last year, so yeah it's grown back pretty nicely and i've been getting trims like. I just got ta trim and cut about two inches off because i haven't got one a couple months before that, but i'm about to put um this in there and moisturize my hair lock it in with some oil. So i'm just going to work that through really good and blend it out one last time - and i think i'm just going to sleep like this and i'm probably going to work out in the morning so i'll probably get the blow dryers out a little bit again Before i braid it down, but yeah, i'm all blow dry and i can honestly say like with me like doing my hair and i'm watching the movie, and my boo is texting me he's just being so nice and i just feel better. I just feel better, like i really needed this, i have my candles lit. I have a strawberry pound cake, big um, strawberry pancake, bath body works and also a stress relief bath and body works, candlelit right now, so they're going my movie's going so probably just going to play that until my boyfriend calls me and i go to sleep so Yeah, bye guys see you in a bit: hey y'all, it's the next morning and i'm back and as you can see, i'm feeling better, so uh yeah, i put my hair in two braids last night and i just did them over because it was feeling dry. So i put some more of this water-based moisturizer in it, and i also have this hair oil from her mercy beauty. It'S like a scalp, stimulating scalp oil, but i just use on my hair because it has like coconut oil in it and stuff. So i put that um throughout my hair to just like grease it because it was just dry like and that's like. I said the main reason why our hair is breaking off. So i'm about to go work out. So i just put my hair in these two um, these two braids or whatever, and then i'm going to come back and get in the shower and i guess get ready for the day. I'M going to probably do my makeup today. Put my wig on yeah excited: hey y'all. I just took my braids out, so i went for my run. I took my braids out so i'm now about to get started on my hair, i'm so earth, because today in the mail i got products from this company called yadine cultural solutions and i'm hurt because i wash my hairs today so now, i'm about to wash my Hair, like a co-wash, probably like mid next week, or something like that just so i get to use the products but um i'm going to use some of this anyway, even though i put all that product in my hair earlier um, i guess like you can i Don'T think your hair could be too moisturized and i feel like my hair is like sucking the moisture up like especially my ends like they keep feeling dry. So this is the rapid hair growth com, complex um, polish and moisturizing serum. So i'm going to put this in my hair and i posted this on instagram and everybody keeps writing me telling me how how much they love their products. So i'm just going to use this anyway and i'm probably just like it smells so good. It says banging fruit station and you can apply this to your hair daily. So i'm just going to put this in my hair. How does it feel feels like oily um? I don't know like i don't know, but when i tell you i'm growing my hair out. I want to have a big giant bro, a big fro i'ma, try to not put it too much in my leave out because i have to have that out, but my hair is like so thick and i just want it to stay that way. So let's get started on this, you part you want to need a comb. I don't even know how to do hair tutorials. I don't even know why i'm doing this, but i do want to just show people how i put my you pot on, because it's super duper easy. So i just leave a little part of my hair out. I do middle. I do the middle part, so i just section off a piece of my hair when i first put it on because that was my first time wearing a. U part, i didn't know how much hair to leave out. So i just chose a random part, but you just play around with it and if you got ta like take out more than the next time, you do. The part just take out more hair. So i have this left out and i'm just going to put the rest of my hair in a ponytail and i'm going to braid this. This is how much i have out. I'M also going to leave a little bit of my edges out. My edges are like not doing that. Well, like, as you can see, they're super duper thin. I don't know what i did. I guess this is my side that i like do flip backs and all of that so over the years i've caused severe damage. But as you can see, my roots are growing in like thick and healthy. It'S just like the old hair and the ends that are like um, thinned out and stuff. But this side, which i don't uh wear my side part one - is a lot more full and healthy. So, oh, i don't know also looking a little straightly, but i try not to leave too much out just a little tiny bit. For my, you part to look natural if i do choose to push it back, so i'm just going to break that down. So it's not in the way when i'm doing my cornrows and the rest of my head, so i'm probably going to skip through um or like fast forward that part, while i'm bringing my hair down as you guys can see, my hair, like my leave out, is Still really healthy, it's still the same length as the rest of my hair, because i don't because i don't focus on pressing my hair out so often, and what else do i do? Don'T press it out too too much and i always keep it moisturized because, like i said, a big reason why our hair breaks off is because we're not keeping it moisturized enough, so you're putting all that heat on it with no heat protector, no moisture in the Hair, so it's just like anything that you keep putting fire on if you put too much fire, what is it going to do? It'S going to crunch up and burn so same thing with hair, all right, so we're going to get into these braids first braid, i'm going to do i've never done this under my wig, but i understand everybody does not know how to um how to braid. First i'ma just say this: if you don't know how to braid you're, not a flat twist, you can take this hair right here, brush this up into a ponytail just trying to get it as tight and flat as possible, like this, like so like that braid it Put a little bun towards the back here's my new part you're, going to brush it out, because i did not brush my grill out yet, and i put three combs at the top and three two well two on the sides and one in the back. I'M thinking about putting two more combs here just to make it super duper secure, but here's another way how you test out your part as well before you do your braids, you just throw that with that wig the u-part one push it down into your ponytail push The sides in clip the back around your bun and you put your leave out out and you go ahead and wear that you part girl, okay, this is 100 secure, like it's not coming out. So if you have no desire to figure out how to do the cornrows or do the um flat twist, you can always just put your hair in a ponytail and rock out like that um. But i'm not gon na. Do that? Because i want my hair to be like in a protective style, so i'm gon na be a little more careful and i don't care to wear my real hair out either. So we're going to do big breeze, because last time i i was just trying out different stuff, since i was new to wearing new parts. So last time i did like smaller braids, i'm gon na do a spray over because i don't like to park last time. I did a small braid right here. Oh my gosh y'all. That was a big mistake, because when you're clipping the u-part into your hair, the combs need to actually cling to something and it's clinging to that small braid and it just hurt. Y'All like it was not a smart idea, so we're going to do big braids and if you're not good at braiding. Don'T worry because, honestly, the looser braids are what's going to give you a flatter um, a flatter braid style, because when you do super the tighter the braid, the like higher, it sticks up. But when you do loose braids like this one, i'm doing on the side right here, it um, it is flatter, like it's way flatter. So i'm just going to part my hair. I think i'll do like this size first and then i'm going to use a clip clip the rest back. So you just want to take your hair and you can section it in two and then you're just going to flat twist your hair. So you take the two and then you just pull. I don't know how to explain here all right. Let me make sure my lighting is good for y'all. I think i'm close enough. Hopefully my camera's hd enough, all right. So i have two pieces of hair right here and then i'm just twisting and then grabbing hair from the bottom like open here and i'm just going to continue doing that and then twist and pull. And you keep just twisting and pulling here like you, pull the hair from underneath you twist and you pull. You literally are just like rolling your hair up like literally so i could do this all the way down, but i don't want to waste my time. So here's what it looks like and then you would just do this all the way around your head, and this will stay. This is going to stay just like a cornrow this this flat twist right here, all right, but we're not doing that. So that's for my girls. We have no desire to learn how to cornrow or don't know how to cornrow. There is another option for a new cornrow. You part alright, so for my cornrow girls or for girls that want to learn how to cornrow so you're going to start with this piece of hair at the top baby. You want to take it and you're going to part it into three different sections. So i have one two three, so i'm going to hold them and then i'm going to do the same. Pulling method like i'm just going to use my pointer finger and my thumb finger and i'm going to grab a piece of hair from underneath and i'm going to use my pointer and thumb finger to do the same thing at the bottom. So you basically are just literally picking hair and a good cornrow. You pick the hair from the sides. You don't pick up down, so you just keep going down your head, like that. It'S like a braid, but it's stuck to the head. So you know i braid, you would just take the three pieces and keep weaving it around each other. This is just you're picking the hair up off your head, so you literally pick up pick up pick up pick up and you just do this until you get to the bottom, i'm going to do the next one with you guys, because i want to show you How to pick your braid up into the next one? So you don't have all these like hanging pieces right here, so you're gon na do another big braid. I need to like. Do these braids a little more neat, because my boyfriend come in here and i want him to see my brains looking super raggedy and the parts just like looking good or whatever for that wig when it would come on he'd, be like just take it off. Sir. Sorry, we have not been locked in for years, i'm not taking the wig off okay, it's not happening well, i do take it off but like around him, but i'm just not going to keep whipping it on and off, like i'm not doing it. So the next part we want to take three pieces again and then we're going to do the same thing. We'Re just going to go down our heads and keep picking up pieces as we cornrow. So if you have longer hair you're going to have to pick that piece of hair up quick and like put it towards the top of your braid but my hair day long yet so i'mma bring it down to like the middle of the braid. And then i'm gon na take that piece and i'm gon na pick it up. Let me show y'all what that looks like i'm at the middle of my braid, so i'm just gon na pick it up and hold it with my pointer and my thumb finger and join it with one piece of the three part i have and then i'm going To just continue breaking down, hopefully y'all heard me good. I haven't had my mic plugged in this whole time, so here i picked up this first one into the second one, and i'm just going to do this all around my head, disclaimer y'all. I bring way better than this, but i realize with the: u parts, though the dookie braids is the best okay. They come out easily. If you need to grease your hair, you can take them out, put them right back in in 20 minutes um and, like i said, the looser your braid, the flatter with this piece of hair. If i did a tight braid, it's going to stick up super high, but because i did like a loose braid, meaning i pulled it. I ain't going to get too technical with the cornrow, but it's loose. So it's flatter more of the story. So i'm about to sit on my bed and watch tv and finish the rest of my braids, then i'll be baked when i'm done, and you guys comment on my videos like what y'all why y'all gon na be commenting i'll, be gon na talk to y'all. Sometimes i don't be seeing the comments, i'm not gon na lie, but if i have my phone in my hand and the comment pops up, i definitely reply right away. Otherwise, i got ta go on the youtube studio and like look at all the comments that are responded to and all that type of stuff, but nonetheless comment on the video. If there's anything that i did not do in this tutorial that you would like to see more of in the future or that i have done better comment, i love constructive criticism. I'M not mine! All right don't get disrespectful, because i will block you. Okay, that's all! I ask but yeah y'all i'll be back when when this is finished, so i can show you how to finish installing the rest of the. I look like a rockstar, but, as you can see, this part of my hair is straightened. This part of my hair is straightened, and here is my? U part she is not styled, but here she is, like i said its combs in the top and two combs on the side and a comb in the back. So we're just going to hold her like this. This is the outside and i'm going to flip this bad boy back, oh yeah, y'all. By the way, i made this, u part - and i think i'm about to start selling my hair again and selling um wigs again, but i was just tired of wearing closure in front of wigs. So i just started wearing new parts, because i just like the natural, the more natural look um, i'm not at the age where i'm young - oh i'm, just sticking the combs into my breathe y'all. I don't want y'all to think y'all, don't know what i'm doing but see this first one. I push the comb down into my braid and then on the side i'm just going to. Where is the comb i'm going to just stick it up in my braid, then, on the other side, i'm going to stick it up in my braid and then on the back, i'm going to put my wig down and stick that back one right in the middle Of my head and then, like you, see how this piece is sticking up, i'm just going to go back in and just fix that up. So nothing's sticking up. So here's what it looks like nice and flat everything plate, honey everything flat and, as you can see, my hair right now is in the side part. If i wanted to wear it in a side part. I would just like i wore this hair in the side. Part i'll insert a picture of what that looked like, because i was looking cute honey i'll just put a little bit of here to the side right here, comb it down it's a tangle on my hair i'll, just part it to the side comb it down, and There we have a side part and i could do the other side mind you. I didn't really hate. I don't have this whole thing of leave out. Sometimes people you purse, be this much leave out, but i don't at that point. I feel like it's not even really a protective style. It'S a half wig, so here's the other side side part, but we're going to go for the baby middle part today. So here is i'm crying and tomorrow. If you see this video, don't laugh at me trying to do my middle part, so my clients always be making fun of me because i'll be struggling to get their middle parts right and then she saw me doing my middle part. One of my other videos - and she was like - oh now - i see she like i'm crying at you struggling to do your middle part all right, because that's because i got a widow's peak so like doing the middle part with a widow's peak is hard. But here's what she looks like this this this is the betty sewing. Okay, like you can't tell me, this is not a sew-in, my man on the phone y'all, he said sam, yes, eddie yeah. So as you'll see, my hair is flat honey. It is flat, honey and y'all. This is my indian hair. I washed it two weeks ago. It'S two bundles in here um. This is like i've had this hair for almost two years, so it probably shrunk up. It looks it's like a 20 inch nail um, but it started at 24, inches and yeah. I don't know like if i want to start selling hair again, because selling hair is hard y'all. So i still order here from my clients. I got order here like on a weekly basis, pretty much for my clients who still get here from me um, but i don't have it on my website and stuff because i just haven't read my mind around it. So i'm about to style my hair and then i'm gon na come back when it's all done so i can show y'all how bad i'm looking and i'm about to have a good day y'all. This video is going to end so much on a higher note than what it started last night as y'all can see, i'm just glowing different like last night. What'S not looking dry, i looked at myself and i said sweetie. They should not see what you're going through on the outside because of how you feel on the inside and look at me now y'all, i'm glowing like i'm looking good, i'm looking great okay, i'm looking great and i'm just thankful to god, because only he can do It all you can do only you can do all right. It'S like no y'all, i'm about to stop my hair and i'm gon na be back after i'm styled. So i could do one of those like you know the girls. They be doing the beauty, the beauty, videos they come back after their hair and makeup is done and they'll be like, and then they play the music. So i'm gon na do that. I'M gon na do that, because why not all right i'll be back? Y'All bye see it pays to do self-care y'all. I did this all in the house. I did this all by myself, like just look at how i was looking yesterday, as opposed to today, like i'm dressed, i'm about to film another video um and in 24 hours. I went from what i was looking like yesterday to this, and i just feel as though this is why i have this channel just so. I can show you guys how to go on this journey too, because we can't be awesome in the house depressed because we're not feeling good we're not liking the way we look and we feel if you don't like it fix it. Okay, whether that is you go to the gym, whether that is you doing your hair makeup, whether that is going to get your nails done. Even if it's you getting surgery, if you don't like it and you have the ability to change it, we gon na fix it. So for my girls, that's like a little on the frugal side. Like me, i'm not getting my body done um! I might get my boobs in in the future, but i am not getting my body down, so i'm gon na go work out because the gut is not giving, but let me show y'all. Let me show y'all, because i just put this dress on with my waist trainer y'all. This is the body i deserve. Okay, do y'all, see my butt? Oh my god wait. Let me roll the weight shape for you because it rolled up. Do y'all, see my butt. Oh, my god, y'all look at the stomach. Look! Oh my god! This is why the girls gon na get their bodies done. This is why? Because they looking like this girl, stop playing stop girl. Let me eat bacon. Yo. I'Ve never taken this way, shaper off, i'm sleeping in this, i'm sleeping in this. Oh, my god. I can't wait to show my man look at the butt. It'S the butt. For me. It'S like the arch, but oh my gosh, but yeah y'all, i'm about to try to film this video before the sun go down. I hope y'all enjoyed this and enjoyed my u-part tutorial. I'M gon na actually get. I just ordered some deep wave hair. I'M gon na do a deep wave. You part next um and show you guys that, but it's popping thank you all for being here. For me, i love you guys like comment subscribe and stay tuned for my next video bye.
