Hey guys it's shown and welcome back to my channel, so I'm super super excited for this video today, because I know it's already soft in the title that this hair is a wig. But as you can tell, this hair looks super super natural, so I'm so excited to tell you guys about it. It is from her given hair. It is a you part. Wait. This literally took me less than 20 minutes to do, and I do have a little bit of leave out at the top, but that is it. This is literally just a new part Nick that I sewed down time on it. I didn't want to have to take out and put it in every day. I still wanted a leave type of install without having to actually sew all of the left's myself sounds like oh, I can excuse this part wig and sew it down around the perimeters of this show you exactly how I did that before I could go in to Show you guys exactly how I install this just a little bit about the hairs hair looks so so natural, even in person. I went out this afternoon to go, get lunch for my school's cafeteria and whenever I went there these so many people were complimenting me on my hair. They all thought it was my real hair. I still haven't told any of them that it's not because it genuinely looks like real long either relaxed, hair or a natural hair that has been blown out me whenever I opens it out of the package. It was super super soft, like I tried, kinky straight hair and it you she feels very kinky in that it's kind of rough to the touch I don't mind because it gives it that kinky look. But what I notice about this here is that if kinky - but it's soft - like it's, really really soft, but this I did Flatiron it a little bit. It was proof here at the beginning which you'll see in the next clip so yeah I'm really really liking. Here a lot so far and yeah so now it's this tutorial, so the wig comes with lace at that you part area, so to start off, I'm just cutting out the lace. Our human hair also has these types of lakes with closures. In case you don't have any leave out, but I was okay with having leave out, which is why it went from the you part to give it that more of a natural look. So the first thing I'm doing is sectioning off how much leave out. I want in order to do this, but I think it was. I grabbed the apart wing and then I just stuck it on my head and just measured it wells on my head and took a few attempts, but eventually I got it to be exact and because I'm treating this install like a sewing, I braided down. All of my hair, underneath, which makes this really really good if you're doing this as a protective style, because I fell in leaving this in for a while like a month or two, I can make sure that it's being protected underneath. But I would recommend that you braid your hair is to make sure that you have to anchor braids going back along, where you will have your part and attach your you part from the top and then at least two braids going straight back along the perimeter and The rest, it honestly doesn't matter you can honestly just braid those four main braids and then like two big braids. It doesn't matter, as you can tell my braids or a pretty raggedy, which is okay. You just have to get your hair out of the way and the flatter the better, but since this hair is pretty big, I wasn't too worried about making my braids flat, because I knew that this hair would be big. So it wouldn't matter if there was like lumps under you, you want your to anchor braids at the top to be semi small, just so that there's not a lump right there. Where you put your you put on it simple, like I said, they're pretty messy, but that's okay just breeds going straight back and then I make sure my I have my two anchor braids at the top and once I finish braiding everything I went back to double Check to make sure that the wig would fit perfectly on my head, and it did so that's when I knew I was good to go, but before I went ahead and sewed it down, the wig does come with wig clips, so you can use it. If you aren't sewing you down like a regular u-part wig, but since I am sewing this down, I didn't need the wig clips. One reason why I decided to sew this down instead of using the wig clips is because the wick tips kind of tug on your here. I have used to you part wigs in the past, where I took them out and put them in everyday, and I didn't notice that it would put a lot of tension in certain areas where the clips were, and I just didn't feel like. It was as good of a protective style and just like a regular or something sewn in so I was like okay. Well, if I'm getting a new part week again, let me just sew it so that I don't want to look one worried about taking it out and putting it back in every day and it's more of a protective stocks. I don't have to worry about those clips. Like just digging in and pulling on my hair and taking off, the clips did not damage the wig at all, like the stitching where the clips are attached is very clear, so you can just cut only that stitching and you can even soak them back on. If you want, they do provide extra clips and an extra band if you ever wanted to sew these onto the wig, to make it more secure. If you decided to use Clips in the future and recommend that you just don't use the clip specially, if you are just gon na just wear this wig for one time thing, you know you want to keep it in for a while. So now, I'm just gon na go over the very basics of sewing on the wig. In case you don't really know how to sew. Basically, you'll just need a needle and thread that you pick up from your beauty. Supply usually have to go up to the front and ask them for needle and thread I like to use the straight needles so thread the needle making it as long as you want and then just make a knot at the end. So I've put the needle through the hair after I have threaded the needle and before going all the way through. I just open up you thread like so, and stick my needle through the thread so that this needle and thread is attached to the wig. And now I'm going to place the needle through the beginning of this braid, I'm just gon na put it all the way through and I'm gon na continue going through, putting my needle through the top of the wig and allowing it to go through and then going Through my braid and then what I'm gon na do here is place, the needle through this loop like so, and then I pull it through just to help it be a little bit more secure and then I'm gon na go ahead and do that food. The entire length of the braid - I always first totally go through the wig, so I can make sure I'm getting the very top of the link and pull the nail through and then place the needle through my braid and not through the wig and then loop. It and pull it through and then I continue along doing the same thing throughout the rest of the perimeter of the wig but yeah. I really think this is perfect because in case you've seen my past sewing videos and the videos I do on how to do some ones, and things like that. I know for a lot of people, it's just hard to do your own hair especially get the back and sew the back and everything. So this is really just like a hack to how to do your own sewing, except it's not a sew-in. It'S just a! U part wig, that is pretending to be a soin and it takes literally under 20 minutes. It'S super super fast, but still behaves and feels like a soul without you having to go through all the work of doing this sewing and you save a lot of money. Just being able to do it yourself, so I continue to sew in the same manner throughout the entire perimeter of my head throughout the back. Until I got back up to the other side and to end it all, I just cut the needle from the thread and then I like to tie the thread two times and then I just coughed excess thread and yeah. That'S pretty much. How I sew down the part wig, it's pretty simple so now this is the hair in its natural state, as you can tell it's pretty pretty big and voluminous, and you can definitely wear it this way, but I decided to flat iron mine just a little bit, Not too much to where it's just straight, but a little bit to where it's a little bit more tame. I did actually wear it out like this as well, and I got so so many comments on my hair, like oh, your hair is so nice. How did you get it to grow so big, the flat iron that I used was this say, do revolution iron and I put it at 300 degree. I didn't want to put it all the way up to 450 because, like I said, I didn't want to make this hair bone straight and make it lose all the texture. Because then, what's the point of getting kinky straight here - and I did one pass throughout all over my head so far, I've had zero like actually almost zero problems with shedding like not at all, I'm sure, a half shed a little bit, but not that much that I can know this not because I wasn't really paying attention to the amount of shedding, but now that I think about it. This hair hardly shed like at all, which is super super nice and it doesn't tangle. But then again this is like I just installed it. So I don't expect it to tangle just yet. If it does, I will update you guys on Instagram. I will give updates and I'll also show you guys, because since this is human hair, it can be flat. Iron like bone straight can also be curled. So I will probably do all those Styles and I'll probably just update it on my Instagram, so definitely feel free to follow me. Action okie me out of those pictures of some of the styles that I don't show here on YouTube in case you're interested in checking. Some of those out as well - and this part didn't take me more than 20 minutes. So, even though it's a lot of hair because I was doing pretty big sections and only passing it through once, it was super super fast and easy to make the hair a little bit flatter. So this is the end result, and I am super super obsessed. If you guys have seen any videos of my natural hair, I do have pretty long hair. So that's why I love my French just believe this is my natural hair, because it oddly does look like my natural hair and if you don't have natural here now, you can fake it, because this hair literally looks super super natural, like it will fool anybody. So if you like this hair, you can definitely check it out I'll leave a link to it in the description box below it's super super easy for anyone to do, and this looks really really nice. I hope you guys enjoyed this. Video is really fun. Try out this hair I'll see you guys in the next one. Thank you guys so much for watching and bye.

Bume.e: This blended so well, this is what I'm talking about !! Beautiful, great work girl

Lovemeorhateme00: Every time I hear “HerGivenHair” I already know the wig is about to high af lmaooo it’s cute though ♥️

Cooking Healthy: Thanks for the review. I purchased this wig and it is a great unit. Hair is very good quality and very soft. Blow dried and straightened it and it looks very natural. The wig clips are definitely a problem but I am happy they provided extra clips. Wonderful hair company if you want very natural looking hair

MiaNaomi Post: Looks really good! I agree about the combs thinning my hair where they’re inserted

M P: Great style!! I'm one year post relaxer and I did the whole big chop and everything, and now I miss my relax texture. I think I might relax my hair again and using protective style. How often do you relax your hair? Please and thank you.

J Mcginn: Hi Seun, do you think you can do this style with no leave out and replacing the leave out with your crochet method? I just read the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences article (it just came out) linking relaxers (and also permanent color) to breast cancer and uterine fibroids, things black women suffer from disproportionately. I think this is the last piece of info driving my decision to stop relaxers. But I want to be a straight hair natural with longer hair. So...maybe your upart sew in with crochet is the answer for the next year or so while my natural hair grows out ?! Maybe the crochet could be done with kanakelon hair?? But the wig sew in part looks great. Also, given your science background, do you have any thoughts on relaxer risks? I can't help wonder if my 20 years of relaxers contributes to my fibroids...

Tiondra Markwell: Love this look!!!

MochaxMatcha: 1. What would the texture be called after you straighten it? 2. Would the hair you left out start breaking off because it's being messed with more often?

Yacky Snacky: So pretty snd natural looking!

Smoke The Don: My daughter watches your videos sean she loves the way you do hair

Natalie DuBois: I'm not a big fan of wigs, but this may have changed my mind.

تكوين: جمال الكون 🌺: 8:07 Wait, I didn't get it, did you sew around your whole head or only the front. And if you sewed the back how could you establish that. Like isn't hard to see your back with out seeing it? Also, how do you take down the sewing carefully with out damaging your natural hair? can you made a video on that, please

Italia Edwards: i love your hair videos. for one you dont use alot of hair products/chemicals and also its always natural! Thanx babe. could you also put a link of where you get your wigs? im looking for some natural looking ones.

Lee Lee: great video, great idea to sew it on. The clips can cause hair loss and alopecia. It happened to me so im super careful now.

stefstar: When you're ready to take it out how do you cut the thread without cutting your own braids, especially in the back?

Bohemian Mama: Hi there! So what’s the update on how long it last without excessive shedding and tangle ness??? ☺️

BlackOreoCookie: Gonna work more hours and save up some money for this one

Gail Vargas: That's the best best best wig I have every saw on someone. Before you said it was a wig, I really thought it was your own hair.

ij_: The definition braid is a synthetic crochet dupe for this hair

Jackie Burns: Could you use a U part wig and crochet the part if you don’t want to leave out your own hair.

تكوين: جمال الكون 🌺: How do you take down the sewing with out damaging your real hair?!

nyny ands: Hey ! What size cap did you get and did you get the middle part or side part?

Adede Assem: This looks really nice

jmarie1719: Gorgeous and very natural looking.... I’m still out on the price tho... hmm .

Channie B: I need to see it curled

MochaxMatcha: I need to hire someone to do this for me! Maybe I could figure this out myself...?

MEOW: How do you take care of it while its on your head? Can you wear it in a ponytail?

تكوين: جمال الكون 🌺: Can you show us the from little more, like I want to see if it look real in the front. And if I can style it with out exposing that it's fake or not. And thank you a lot

Kelsey Rodriguez: Is this Unit a middle part or side part? I want the flexibility of middle and side part. Do you think a middle part would be able to do that for me? I like deep side parts too! I just don't want to shift the middle part & make it look uneven... idk

M3 Sister Creations: How would you do this with a wig that has a closure if you don’t want to leave hair out?

D: Have you worn any other company that has the same rough texture? Love this hair but not the price.

Jaleesa Banks: Can it hold curls?

Karen Wynters: Hi Suen....how are you today....I started doing protective hairstyles. My hair is braided right now and I wanna go that way for a while to grow my hair....do you have like an email address to communicate more....

Gbenga O.: Looks beautiful.

Alex Reid: Girl I'm hoping u dnt go natural. All the YouTubers I used to watch for relaxed hair growth is nw natural lol. Ur hair is beautiful ❤

AntiHeroine: the most gorgeous hair! but yeah this brand is super expensive

PeaceBeStill: $470? Super cute but way too much. If it were less money the company would definitely sell way more.

Kennedy Cortez: Can we get an update on this wig pls?

Melony: I’m so curious what are your favorite hair products?

Akil: She looks a little like Wendy Fitzwilliam, Miss Universe 1998 from Trinidad and Tobago.

Jackie Burns: An suggestion for thin hair/alopecia and weaving.

bootsmade4walking: Homegirl at West Union STUNTINN' <3

Alice Hyatt: I want to do this but I have when I have leave out and the color doesn’t match exactly

Salma Om: How do you manage it when sleeping?

Rosé and celery: how do you grease your scalp under that?

Hisham bin Ahmad:

Bible Study tv2: Go girrrrrlll

berightwithyou: How are you going to wash your hair underneath

Keren Benoit: I am way to poor for that price

berightwithyou: I dont know how to braid though

Rebecca Johnson: Please can you share your camera please

Taylor Slater: Any new active youtubers wanna grow together lmk!!

Queen Beauty23: New subs

Vanessa Tate: How tall are you?

Herp Derp: why wear fake hair? your real hair is better than your fake hair. And please dont give me the protective style BS. black women dont need protective styles to have healthy hair. and your hair is super long so i doubt youre trying to grow it longer. Black women are addicted to fake hair. I liberated myself in July and LOVE being able to shower with guys, exercise and LIVE, without worrying.
