So, as you guys can tell from the title and from the previous write-up uh today, i'm going to be answering all of the questions that i have under my video: how to make an headband wig uh. That video is almost 30k view. I'M so happy - and i appreciate you all you know for really really supporting me, so i want to really take up my time to answer all of the questions. Yes, i've been answering most of the questions under the comment section, but i just want to do like an highlight video, where i get to pop up some of your questions on the screen. Read them out, answer them and tell you what to do and what not to do okay. Looks like you cut the entire front off the cap. Did that make the wig very loose, then? Okay, tammy! This is a very simple question and i love it. Okay, now we're gon na like do um. It is a very simple thing: it didn't make the wig loose or tight okay, it's just that. You cut off the cap underneath the wig. I hope that makes sense just cutting up the cap underneath the wig. Now, let's do like simple mathematics. If your head is 22 and cap is 22 okay, the head circumference of your head is 22. The cap you're using is 22. This is simple, then, if your hair band, which is the headband you're attaching to the cap, is actually three inches or four inches, you know you're going to attach an advantage. It actually depends on how wide your air band length is. Some of them come in three inches. Some of them come in four inches. So if your head is 22 plus headband, three inches from headband or all, let's just say, headband, four inches, okay, so headband 22, no um with your head 22 plus headband three is equals to 25. Okay, now headband four inches plus cap 22 is equals to 26 inches, like of your head, which makes the cap automatically too big for the circumference of 22 you're, going for absolutely too big because you're going for 22, but now you've got either 25 or 26 because You have to add the hairband plus the cap itself. It'S simple, okay, it's very simple! So i'm going to give you an example. Week is 22 the week we want to go. First 22. The hair band. We have at hand is 3 inches. Everything becomes 25 inches. Circumference now remove three inches from cap. It becomes 19 inches right, plus your three inches from headband total. You arrive back at 22, which is what we're actually going for to be on a safer side. You can actually make your cap 19 inches. Let'S assume that you can make it 19 inches and half and then plus your three inches from your hair band, and then you can arrive at 22 inches and a half to keep you on a safe side. This also applies to the the smaller one. The bigger one you know depends just if it's if it's 70, if it's 18, if it's this, is that now the wig i was working with, i was going for a 20 inches second phrase. The hairband i was working with was three inches now three inches plus um, plus my 20 inches cap, that i'm going for it will definitely arrive where 23 inches, which is what not what i want. So what i had to do was to measure the circumference of the cap at 17 inches and a half to stay on the safe side, like i just said, and then add the three inches from my hairband to it, which makes me arrive quickly. Where are 20 uh, 20 inches, simple, 17 inches and half plus 3 inches from headband, you get 20 inches and a half that half is just for you to stay on it on a safer side. Thank you for showing me how to do this. What are you cutting off in the end of the video like what was i cutting? I was cutting off the essence cap under the cap. You know, if you don't cut it off, it would be bulky swelling and it would not be flat. You can leave it on if it doesn't bother you, okay, like it bothers me, it doesn't look neat, it doesn't look nice most of those wigs are to be sent to people and it doesn't look presentable now. Let'S move to the next question, i'm laughing because i know who this person is and i'm so happy that she dropped a question funny question. So she said traditional stitch. Now we don't enter medical science, be gay like it's like a nigerian pigeon english, okay, she's, trying to say a place in the video where i measured to say that i was using a traditional stitching method. So i'm going to explain this okay. So when i started making wig, i started uh not wig, but like sewing hair on the head that was like in 2004 a long time ago when i started knowing how to sew hair, okay, so the technique, i learned how to sew like from all these normal Nigeria uh salon is the technique of creating a loop, putting your needle into the loop and tying it two or three times to secure the thread you've tied, and that is what we call the traditional sewing. Okay, so right now there are different types of sewing. There'S also what they call the modern-day sewing and there's another one. They call um, they call it. A traditional sewing modern day sewing, and i forgot the other one that people call it so, the other one is they saw without creating any loop at all, but they make the stitches really really close. Why there's another one they so where they put the needle in the weft first before bringing it out from the cap, so these are different sewing. So i actually prefer using the traditional station for my wigs, because i find them more tight and secure and stand the test of time than any other type of sewing and also flat.
