Hey everyone today, I'm here with my current stretching routine most times when I do hair tutorials, I start off with stretched hair, and you guys ask me about it all the time so for this video I've partnered up with love beauty in Planet, to show you guys, These super easy way I get a blown out look without using any heat at all. Alright, so my hair stretching routine always begins on wash day. I am saturating my hair with water and then to clean my hair today, I'm using the love, beauty and planet, coconut oil and yell angling shampoo. When shampooing I like to massage it into my scalp and really work it in and then just let the suds trickle down throughout the rest of my head. So I really just concentrate on making sure my scalp is super clean and then the suds will do the rest of the work, and this shampoo got my hair really clean. It also didn't leave it feeling dry, like some shampoos tend to do so. My hair was definitely happy about that rinse. It all out then conditioned with the coconut oil and Yolanda Lane conditioner. Now here I'm taking a little conditioner and smoothing it all over my entire head. I use just enough so that it makes my hair easy to finger part, because now I'm gon na start my stretching technique, so I'm making a part straight down the middle and working on one side. At a time, I'm gon na make four ponytails on each side. So today I'm doing eight ponytails, but depending on how stretchy I need my hair to be, I will usually make anywhere between six to ten, but just a tip the more ponytails you make, the more stretched your hair will be and the quicker it will dry. So just FYI, once I have my first section, adding on some more of the conditioner and working it all the way through the hair, so it's thoroughly coated, then I'm taking my detangling brush and starting from the bottom, I'm working my way up to the roots. I'M gon na gently detangle and ensure I don't have any nuts in my hair. So now I'm going to secure the hair into a ponytail with an elastic band like this one, and you want to make sure to get the band's without the middle ring, because those can snag your hair and cause breakage. So I always use these and continue making the ponytails by sectioning off the hair coating with conditioner, then detangle with the brush working from the bottom up and make a ponytail. This conditioner smells absolutely amazing guys. I find it extremely hydrating and it has a lot of slip, so it made it super easy for the brush to kind of just glide right through and back in the day I really hated detangling, my hair, but doing it this way on wet hair, saturated with Conditioner just makes the whole process a piece of cake, so I always detangle my hair when it's coated with conditioner all right now I have my eight sections gathered. I'M gon na go ahead and rinse out the conditioner working the water all through my head and through my part, so I'm getting it all out and another great thing about this product is the fast Wentz technology which helps save time and water since it rinses out Super quickly, I'm using the love, beauty and planet three-in-one benefit oil, about two pumps per section, smooth it on to give my hair some shine and help keep it from looking dry and dull. Then plant that section of hair all the way down. Putting the hair and ponytails will allow the roots to dry really flat and keep them detangled, and the plats will stretch out the rest of the hair. So I let this air dry overnight. I don't put any covering on my hair. When I do this, I leave it free, so I'm not slowing down the drying process the next day, it's completely dry. So it's time to take out the bands and undo the plaits smooth on a tiny bit more oil to minimize frizz then run through the section. A few times with the brush to separate the hair and remove the little crinkles - and this is what you get now as you can see, I have a blown-out look without the risk of damaging my hair from using heat tools, and I like doing this because it Shows off more of my actual limp, it makes my hair so much more manageable. I can even run my fingers through it, which I'm not able to do if I don't stretch it and from here just makes styling a breeze, so I can go on to do whatever hairdo. I would like this simple updo, I'm rocking today, so I hope you all enjoy it. I hope it helped be sure to check out the info box for more info on the love, beauty and Planet products. I use, and I will see you guys on my next video bye - you

Seasoned Queen: everyone talks about water moisturizing the hair and it does play a part in detangling....but am i the only one who experiences extreme shrinkage the minute water touches my hair???

Ciara F: I just tried this. I was skeptical at first since I have really corse 4c hair almost nothing working for me. This method helped my fro a lot. I got to see my fro’s length for the first time

1DNETTA: I'm in my Mid 40s and when I was a little girl, my Mom used to "plat" my hair after she washed it. She would oil it then plat it like this (in this video) so my hair would air dry while I went outside to play. The good ole days.

Katithi Musyimi: If this is 4c hair I am definitely a 5f

ThePltsweet: Which 4c hair school did your hair attend because it's definitely not the one mine attended.

Chelsie Jones: What kinda witchcraft is that? How the hell are the parts that straight?

Amina Bin Shafiq: I tried this and its the only way that I detangle my hair now. It worked PERFECTLY!!!!

Lydia Moo: I did this and I got the most perfect, accidental braidout. I just let it be after that.

Simple Eye: I've watched a lot of stretching tutorials, and this is the only one I feel confident trying. It's simple, easy, and fairly low maintenance. I don't care for the banding ones, too many bands and seems like it might unduly stress and dry out hair. I love how this girl uses minimal products on her 4c hair and it's fabulous! Goes to show that maybe our hair may actually thrive better when it can breath!

prvb3110wmn: This was THE BEST heatless stretch video I’ve seen so far! Thanks!

Nash: Because of you and this method my 4c hair has grown so much. Thank you so much!

Chineye Emenogu: The fact that she can do this with 4c hair is amazing. This is finally going to be the easier way for me to detangle my hair.

Someonerandom: Crazy how this actually works I tried it on my hair and I’m shook... one step forward to my journey

Bunmi Omisore: How did she part her hair THAT NEAT with HER NAILS!!????

Growing Pains: My tender headed behind just nodding along like "hm, yes I see"

Angela Samuel: Why am I two years late seeing this!?!?! This method is seriously GENIUS. Thanks so much, will be trying this today!

Akeya: Girl, you saved my life with this video! I was always looking for a way to stretch my hair with no heat and you came through with this. THANK YOU!

VC: Love this. 12 years natural and no heat has touched my hair. I love this alternative to blow outs. I don't know what my hair looks like stretched I'm excited!

Brianna&Mia Gymnasts: She is that perfect YouTube or who is pretty has healthy hair is vegan and shows a little bit of her life but not too much and barely gets hate or not even any

lannah biggs: OMG just tried this method for detangling I have my hair drying right now and that was such an easy and pain-free detangling plus I'm tender headed so I love love love thanks super helpful

Bri The Virgo: I still remember the first no heat blowout routine that she did a few years ago her hair has grown beautifully

Sharron C: THANK YOU! This is exactly what I needed because my hair air dries super super fast. (In minutes) All I needed was to stretch. THANKS AGAIN DOLL!

Dorena Dann: First off I want to start off saying that my hair looked nothing like hers when done. It did not look like hers because she, and I do not have the same hair type. With that being said I was very pleased with my end results. I followed the steps exactly, and my hair although not straight in the end, but was very curly like crochet hair that I would normally purchase. My hair was full, and moisturized. In the past I have done twist outs with very disappointing results. O will continue to follow these steps to achieve a very natural curly look. My hair did not shrink up like it normally would, and only look like a short afro. Keep in mind that we all have different hair types however, following these steps will definitely give you great results in the end. Thank you for this easy to follow video. I have struggled with my hair for years trying to achieve a look a was happy with.

Bree' Dennis: She makes her 4c look like it’s a breeze

Monique-Chicago: Finally! Somebody with a realistic stretching routine for my hair. I'm trying this!

Melody: Just tried this method. It worked

Hellnogizmo: I felt like somebody just needed to ask if anyone else noticed how beautiful this woman is? Them brown eyes are poppin honey! Your hair is so beautiful. Don't mind me.. my white ass just found out about the wonderful world of African American hair care products. (I have low/medium porosity hair. It is super thin and dry 9/10. <3 I can't even part my hair this good with a comb and 5 mirrors.. Lol.

Jasmine Walker: This video is AMAAAZZZINNNG thank you so much because I wanted to start doing the blow out look more often but didn’t want to use heat. God bless you

Rachel A: I do this all the time it really makes my 4c hair manageable

Mandalee Dilbert: Just want to say how amazing this technique really is!!!! I’ve used it several times on my super super 4c type hair and it works perfectly thanks again Queen!

Random Thoughts: Who would dislike this?? This is great! I love your videos ! So clear and straight to the point !

mrs writerpro: Beautiful job, thanks for the demo! Our hair types are similar, so I will definitely be trying this for wash day.

Charm D: Who’s hair is never dry by the next morning? ‍♀️

Kamikra Roberts: Amazing how your hair went from shrinked hair to a beautiful blown out look. Gorgeous! Thank you for sharing this.

Nickie Nicole: I've tried so many methods, but this one has been my go to since I became a student.

Francine Williams: I've been doing this technique for a while (from one of your old vids)and it works. Thanks for the tip.

Rasheedah Luqman: This was the best stretching/detangling video ever. I have cut my hair to the scalp 3x because it takes too long to maintain my hair. This was so easy and my hair is very thick and coily. Thank you!

Mean Queen: This is Amazing!! I need to try this method on my 8 year old...it’s a hassle to keep her steal when wash day comes she hates everything especially the blow dryer! She’ll be mad that her hair will have those ponytails over night but she’ll get over it once she sees how stretched her hair became! for me y’all it’s hard having girls boys too ig

CortCort: Breath of fresh air, I’m so tender headed but now with with technique I can do this! Thank you

: This video was soooo helpful! Your process was sooo fast and simple I love it! Just what I was looking for

Dominique: Finally, someone with really kinky hair texture to show a miracle in the straightening process.

Candice Raquel: I wish I found this video two days ago, now I am committed to blow drying tonight before sock curls haha. Anytime I leave my hair in a bun all week its nearly straight when I take it out! So I knew there had to be something out there!! Thank you for the tips :) :) :)

Brenna Rankin: I just wanna day I appreciate this video so much!! I used this method as a way to get a stretched twist out and my hair came out so amazing!! The best part is that doing it this way was so much faster than doing my normal twist out! Thank you for posting this!

Andrea Taylor: Girl I just love this idea of getting my hair straight I thought it was click bait at first or using some type of heat since I like my twist to have length and I gave thick hair but this idea is well all I can say is BRILLIANT

Nasihah Wylie: Love your texture and thanks for the easy method!! Best I’ve seen thus far

Itscarmellee: Thank you for this! I been doing it for a while and I love it especially before I put braids

Arielle Smallwood: You make me want a mani with pointy nails just so I can part my hair that incredibly straight...too bad we're in quarantine in 2020 LOL. Love the technique I will definitely have to try it my next wash day.

Lorraine Gary: This is almost exactly how my Ma taught me how to stretch my afro, but with a few subtle improvements. The detangling brush, the rubberbands. Thank you.

Eboni Brinson: Beautiful! I love it..Gonna try it this week!

TDJ Hustles: This is the best hair video, I have seen for natural hair, you actually made me want to do my hair instead of going to the salon and getting a glueless wig, ponytail or just getting a blowout and flat iron. I hate doing my natural hair and I will actually try this.

James Lopez: This is definitely something I'm going to try on my next wash day

Paloma Ozuna: Omg ! I finally tried this and it definitely worked I am super happy with the results - FYI for ppl who’s hair takes for-e-ver to dry I recommend to do this on damp hair instead of soaking wet because you might have to sit under the hooded dryer. But overall this stretch my roots like I had used a flat iron not so much for the ends though but still pretty damn good. So if this was a review on yelp I’d give 5 starts lol:)

Joz Hill: I'm so late to this video, but I searched for a good no heat video out of desperation yesterday. It worked perfectly. Thank you!!!!

Angelia Irizarry: Game changer for me!! Thank you so much for this!

Donna Lorraine: This process has helped me in so many ways with the managing of my hair especially lessening the stress I took to blow dry. However one step I missed was sleeping without a scarf. I think that will make a big difference. Did you sleep on a satin pillow case?

NaturallyMe: Hi Kim! I tried your stretching method last month and then put my hair under a wig for a week. When I took my hair out it looked like I straightened it. I’m going to use this method again this week. Always love.
