Hey everyone welcome back to my channel, so in today's video, as you can see by the title, I'm gon na be giving you all my final thoughts and opinions on these passion twists. I'M gon na be giving you all the tea on these passion twists letting y'all know what I get them again. Is it worth the money all of that good stuff? So, if you're interested keep on watching yeah, I'm basically just gon na give y'all, you know the pros and cons of this hairstyle. I don't want to make this video too long. I'M also actually gon na, be showing you how I take them down today, because they're ready to come out. I have other things to do with my hair. So that's why you know I'm gon na be taking them out towards the end of this video, but I just want to give you all my thoughts and opinions on this hairstyle before I do that the good things. Obviously the hairstyle is cute, like it's just like a really really cute hairstyle. I feel like it's a nice protective style for the spring/summer. I mean it's a cute little winter style too, but I feel like this style, just screams like spring/summer, it screams vacation. That'S the reason why I did this hair because I went on a little mini vacation to Cancun, so I needed just something that I could just have and not have to worry about my natural hair. Another pro, I feel like the method that I used after doing like a whole bunch of research on how to install this hair is that I feel like the method that I use was pretty simple. To do. Definitely the hardest part of this hairstyle was partying. I probably spent a good hour and a half just parting, my hair, because I am a bit of OCD when it comes to parts like my parts have to be. You know straight, if not straight then, like almost you know straight so in case you're wondering how I did that I just had a mirror in the front of me in the mirror in the back of me. So that way I was able to see my whole head. I did have to recruit the help of my little sister, so she did actually help me to like part. You know some of the spaces in the back that I just could not see on my own, but that was probably one of the hardest parts of this hairstyle was just parting. It but like the method, was simple that I use another pro is this hairstyle is very low-maintenance, meaning that you don't have to really do much to it. Just like a lot of protective hairstyles, you put it in your hair because you want it to be low-maintenance in this hairstyle I can definitely say was low-maintenance. All I did in the morning was literally just grab some more mousse. I don't have the mousse with me right now: I'm creme of nature style and shine foaming mousse. All I did was just put it a little bit on the hair, not everyday, but some of the days where I wanted to add a bit of extra shine to my hair, literally just put that on put that all over the top here tie my scarf on. For maybe, like five minutes, take it off and I was good to go. I didn't need to do anything extra with my hair. I did not put oil on my scalp. I never put oil on my scalp when I have protective styles only because to me it kind of just makes your scalp more or it makes my scalp more dirty. So I just I don't put anything additional on my scalp other than just the mousse, and I was pretty good with that. So that was the maintenance for me, it was not. It wasn't hard to maintain. All I did was get up. Do my little edges. If I had to do them put the mousse on - and I went about my days, one of the last pros that I have is that this hairstyle to me is really affordable. Now, in total, I bought eight packs of hair plus, like the you know, different little things like I bought this, and then I bought the hair jewelry and then the crochet hook. So in total, like the beauty of my beauty, supply store, everything came out to be like around sixty-five dollars. Something like that. So sixty-five dollars to me was worth it to pay because just think about it, if you were to go and get this hairstyle done at a salon or done at somebody by somebody else easily, they would charge you 150, maybe 200 or more, for this hairstyle plus, Like the length that I got, this hairstyle would have been pushing $ 200 for me, plus the hair that I had to buy and the material. So this whole hairstyle could have cost like $ 300. If I didn't do it myself, so I will pay the $ 65 and save myself the money by doing it myself so $ 65 versus, like $ 300 plus, like this hairstyle super affordable. So I said all my pros now: I got to get into the bad stuff, okay, because things can't be perfect all the time, okay, hair, although it is very beautiful, especially when you first take it out of the pack it tangles like this hair it tangles there Was a lot of pieces that I had to just not even install into my hair when I was first doing it because by separating the hair it gets tangled even by it being in my hair, like it, kinda will snag a little bit. I noticed like that and then, like little, you know, tangle balls will fall off the hair, definitely isn't as soft as it was when I first put it in, but for me that's fine only because I feel like it just adds to the look of it. This hair thought to me is not supposed to be like a hundred percent perfect and like silky silky, so I wasn't really concerned at that. Another con, I will have to say, is that some of my twists did unravel I'll. Try to give you an example like this one here it like unraveled, I don't know I try to put it back, but it just unraveled by itself. I don't know if it's because I didn't twist it correctly. I mean this is my first time doing this hairstyle. So you know I didn't really get all the twists perfect, but this one I think one other one had unraveled, but the other one stayed put. So that's another con is, I guess, because the hair, when you put it in it's so silky it kind of it's easy for it to unravel and once it unravels, I feel like it's kind of hard for it to you, know, take the shape and it just Stays unraveled, so that's kind of annoying, so the last con that I would say is that, depending on how your natural hair does with humidity and water can kind of play a part in your natural hair showing through now for me when I went on my little Trip I was in like kind of like a tropical area, so it was like warm. It was humid. I was in like the ocean. I was in the pool so like I got like a good majority of my hair wet. So there are some pieces in my hair there, where you can like see my actual natural hair showing through especially like in the middle area of my hair, like this is where it got the most like frizzy, but overall the amount of things that I was doing When I was in Cancun, I feel like my hair, like it lasted like it looks pretty good you're about to take down these twists. I really don't know what I'm gon na do. I don't have a game plan. I really don't know the proper way to take these out. For me, I'm just gon na start from the bottom, unravel them and then kind of like work. My way around and hopefully I'll be able to not snatch any of my hair out with like the rubberband in so I'm gon na go and do like the back off camera. And then, when I get closer to the top I'll, be able to show y'all more of what I'm doing alright Sean, I'm back. I took out like majority of my hair only because it was just like a trial and error process trying to figure out how to take this hair off. I wish I got to the best of my ability how I just took this out, so what I did was just basically unravel my twist in the opposite way that I had originally twisted it. This one is kind of tangled and I would just pull it apart at the bottom now. My hair obviously starts up here, so I don't want to like yank it like that, but I could yank the bottom like that. So then, once I come closer to the top, I just start unraveling it a little bit more gently because my hair is up here and I don't want to break off any of my hair now that I'm at the top of the twist the rubber band. You probably are not going to be able to see it because it's super small, but the rubber band is showing right here now. The easiest way that I found to do this is by just breaking in the rubber band. So I'm just gon na take this comb here and then just I'm not breaking the rubber band with the comb I'm trying to just basically grab on to a piece of the rubber band. I don't want to use my nails because I don't want to break my nail so once I secured a section of the rubberband, I'm just gon na make sure that none of my hair is caught in between the rubberband and then I'm literally just gon na pull It and break it so I broke the rubberband there. It is. It came off clean, none of my hair attached to it now. For this part, I just kind of like wiggle the knot around and just give a little bit of a tug, my hair just slips right out of the knot, and that's how it just looks like that. I'M so sorry y'all, my camera ended up dying and I had no idea that it died. So I finished taking off all of my hair on camera and I did not get it film, but I basically was just doing the same thing as y'all see in the clip where I just unraveled in the opposite direction. I grabbed a piece of the rubber band with my three roll comb. I popped the rubberband and then I just wiggled the knot on my out of my hair, and that was pretty much it. Nothing else, special that I did with it and my hair turned out. Fine, I didn't have any crazy breakage. I didn't have any breakage at all. I did have you know shedding, but that's because my hair was in a protective style for two weeks, but yeah that's pretty much it. I hope you guys enjoyed this video. Thank you. So much for watching and if you made it all the way to the end of this video I messed with you, I love y'all for watching. Thank you. So much see you in my next one bye,

It's Mrs.Yao2U: Twist right over left and twist each individidual twist simultaneously . It will hold longer & better

Norree C: I’ve had mine for 3 weeks and am tempted to take them out because they’re already super frizzy. These twists snag on EVERYTHING: earrings (yes studs too!), necklaces, door handles, buttons, etc. Super cute but mine have been anything but low maintenance

sunnysideup: I just did my own today and used the crochet method. Reading through these comments I’m glad I didn’t pay anyone else to do them.

Shaina Yates: You can use witch hazel toner and cotton swabs to clarify/clean your scalp, so you can moisturize :)

Roomie Adventures: I just got mines done on Friday from watching your video. I'm loving it so far

Ashli Upchurch: Thank you for this video. I had the same problems... BUT I HATED my passion twist. It’s the worst style ever with tangling, snagging on doors, zippers, coats etc. also my hair is naturally frizzy so it so start show right away like in the first week really bad. And when I took it down it took forever because my real hair was so dry and tangled into the weave. THIS style is gorgeous but if you love your own natural hair DONT get them.

KL93_x: I attempted to do mine yesterday but I was half way through and took them out omg. I’ve got long hair already reaching down my back and I will not try to do this again lol. It’s a cute hairstyle but a hassle! Never using rubber band again either

Angel Harmony: Your hair came out beautiful! It gets hard when mousse is put onto the hair, I don’t like that hard feel. So I’ll probably skip using mousse.

All About Elle L.: im glad you did this video bc i taught i was tripping when i seen my twist unraveling. this is the second time doing these twists.

K Blue: So cute!! Cant wait to do this this weekend

Mo Sanders: The hair jewelry caused mine to snag more but I love it the hair is so light def a staple style for me I'm on week 3 with mine

lil baby tears: I just got them and i started realizing this by day 2. Im regretting this a lot. And the way my stylist did them...she put too much hair so its super thick and i can already see how frizzy its about the be. Im so upset. I paid 300 for this shi*.

NaturallyJelisa: This is a lovely hairstyle ♥️

Vanessa Rivers: I had the similar issues; very well put. ty!

Jordan Brooks: Girl yessss!! You AND this hair style are gorgeous

Naturally Brakel: I tried the rubber band method the first time and decided to do the braided roots method (no rubber band) this time around.

Samanthar G: I did mine the standard crochet way then when done cut and just unbraid my cornrows no mess and easy on my hair.

Ty: It’s day 3 too frizzy and my real hair is sticking out it’s a bigger problem for me because I dyed my ends burgundy so it shows more and I hate it might take these down tomorrow it sucks because it’s a pretty style

Morena Xoxo: Just a tip: When I remove my goddess locks ( if I don't plan on reusing them) I cut them off a few inches below where my normal hair stops. It makes the removal process quicker bc there is less hair to manipulate if the locs or passion twists are super long.

ms berry: Thank you for showing us how to take down. I was scared to get them

Jourdan: My natural hair is super soft and I could see it slipping out the second week I had my twists which sucked. Does anyone know how to retwist your hair in?

Ruth Osunde: I just got mine today and I can see my hair coming out of the braids.

A Crystal Rose: my hair was soooo tangled after I took mine out, anyone else have this problem?, I did get them wet in the Ocean and I did wash them after. These tangles were a different type of tangle, not like braids.

Isabella Martins: So I buy my synthetic hair today and is very expansive here in Brazil, so I wanted to know if synthetic hair looks good after you take them down for use them again Love the video

Sarada Uchiha: Girl I don’t put oil in my scalp either when I where the protective style but I don’t do it because of my scalp being too oily as it is. When I wash my head after I dry it it’s like oil just starts shooting up out my head and it makes all my hair greasy and it starts to smell sense I sweat a lot and sweat and oil just don’t mix my the one thing I can say is that I don’t have bad dandruff though but when I do I get them huge clumps of it I have to scratch up. I’mma probably have to see a doctor about that though. As for the hair I do want to try this hairstyle though but I obviously can’t keep it in past two weeks although some say it can last a month but I need to wash my head cuz my scalp be feeling hella blocked up with all that oil sweat and them few gigantic dandruff flakes

PROAGATE: You may want to stop putting your hands all through your head constantly. That contribute to unraveling if it's not twisted properly. You don't need to keep putting your hand in your hair

Abundance with Abenaa: Oh glad to see it worked as vacation hair

Rochelle Rene: I think my least favorite thing about this hairstyle is def the way my hair shows through. I'm trying to find a different kind of hair that matches my curl pattern/ texture a little better but is still long.

xnatiyaxX: instead of all that struggle undoing the twist...jus cut the hair...its much easier..promise

tabby314: I'm regret not getting this hairstyle. It be my next hair style

The Tucker Family: Did u have a problem with your real hair sticking out of the twist right after you completed them? and do you have any advice on how to change that?

Jasiya Anderson: I have a question for anyone who is willing to answer Can I dip passion twist in boiling water like I do box braids

Nishelle T: What was the technique you used to install the twists and what hair did you use?

Samina Chaudhry: I’m going to a resort this holiday weekend and if you want me to post a tutorial on how to do the passion twists as well as before and after pics of me in and out of the pool with them, like and reply to my comment.

Latoya Husted: I'm going to Cancún in Aug and was thinking about getting passion twist. Definately not putting them in myself.

Rai Rai: Beautiful for then to not unravel, next time put a drop of nail glue wherever your twist stops at ! ❤️

Naturally_Jenni: Are we gonna get a Cancun vlog? I’m thinking of doing this style for Cancun as well.

carmen cooper: Beautiful

Faith x: How long have you had it on for in this video?

Sharai Amilia: Hi can someone respond to this asap. Do you think that you can do this for graduation, like will it be to poofy?

Nisha Spann: Just cutting the rubber band may help

ᏗᎮᎮᏝᏋᏕ: Love ur videos.

Crystal Cox: Thanks for this video.

Nonya Bigness: 2:59 wait what? Yea it makes ur hair more dirty it’s called build up. Why wouldn’t you want to moisturize you hair and scalp with oil?

Stepping Into Steelo: Got 5 packs for 16$.. Dallas. Tx

Anastacia Dawkins: Leave the hair in water and seperate that way.... I used to use water wave as crochet hair lol saved me a lot of hair

Aniyah Haylock: Does it help ur hair grow?

Evelyn Davis: I am growing my own natural hair with dredge and I don't want to cut it , I just want it to be long so how do I loosening it

TiaraDanyel: What hair brand did you use?

Angelica Walker: Someone help me. Can you swim / wash them?

Izzy Jean: 200$? Near me they charge 75$

A J: Finally ....a woman who has long thick hair! ...everyone who i seen do this style has short hair ...

Yoki Renae: You got to twist to the left left left

Alexis A: I just ordered these crap

Kaislen March: I took mine out after 2 and a half weeks

Bre Bre: How long would these last??

Sunshine Tyree: How long did you leave them in....

Babegyrl15: What length was this?

Niseyy Poo: Did u wash your hair after u got out of the pool

さおおおまさ: MAMA kawaii

qwaneasia: is this like 2 strand twist

Shan: Notification gang gang

britney arne: sis shoulda went to Cancùn with her natural hair! periodt.
