Louisiana, okay guys, so i have a wig today from you, nice hair. So this is the week that they sent me to kind of go ahead and play around with and review and show off to you guys so, first off the bat i love the custom color like they really did that one, the custom color. I love the curl pattern. I'Ve been wanting to do a beyonce, esque type of bob for a minute bob, not bob, but um curly wig. I don't know why. I keep calling this above, but yeah she's, giving like 22 inches. I love the length. I love the color, i love the density and i love the fact. Let me go ahead and take this off of the mannequin. So basically, what i was saying is: i love the fact that it has lace on the sides. Some way companies send me those wigs where there's barely any lace on the side and that's not an issue with this wig. The only thing that i do not like is that um, the lace is brown, so if you guys can see that this lace is definitely brown, i like my lace to be transparent or to be hd, but we're gon na see what we can do. What we can pull off with the brown lace, but other than that, i'm really excited for the color, though in itself. So let's go ahead and play so. I was asked by one of my vixens to show you guys how i actually style my baby hairs or do them when applying a glueless wig. So here you go, i'm using a razor from walgreens. It had like a slant in it which makes it easy. For me to get as close to the hairline as possible leave a little bit of lace, but not too much, and i always try to create a jagged line. You don't want to cut straight across because then there would be a line of demarcation. When you put your wig on glue this and being that you're, not melting that lace in it's very important that there's not a line of demarcation, i also wanted to show you guys the lace just so that you can see. I cut in a zigzag motion and not blunt so you can see that there and now i'm just going to go in and start styling the baby hairs. Now i did pre-pluck this wig before i came on camera, so you will need to make sure that you do that, but i just section out the hair cut it with my razor at a slant and i'm using the sebastian shaper plus hairspray. I love this hairspray. I'Ve been using this over got to be glue. It'S very soft, it's not a bit sticky and it doesn't turn white and i'm using this brush from walgreens as well um. So what i've been learning is to go ahead and after i've plucked away brush the wig with the hairspray, and this just really defines the plucking that you did and you can like just really see your work. And then i learned this from arrogant, hey to take a small curling iron and basically to a bump, the edges before you actually style them and then using my fingers and the brush, i'm basically shaping and molding the baby hairs. How i want them - and then i set it once i've sprayed it with the hairspray with my hot comb that how come you can actually purchase off my website hervicksonwigs.com. It goes up to 500 degrees, but you can see i'm working on the second baby hair here. I'M just moving the hairline back with the hairspray in the brush and then going in and just molding it and then i'm going to go back in with the hot comb and you can see that hairline is the hairline. Is everything baby? Okay? So i'm going in with my last little baby hair. This is like the little swoop that would be by my ears, so i'm going to go ahead once again and cut that with the razor, and you want to just like take as thin of a section as possible. You don't want your baby hairs to be very thick. I knew that if, like i was going for you know, beyonce vibes and i know like typically beyonce - doesn't wear baby hairs. I don't even think she wears frontals. I think she wears like micro links with her hair, i'm not sure, but you know i needed to have some type of baby hairs with this glueless wigs, but i wanted to keep them very natural because i know if she was to wear like a frontal. She wouldn't have like these thick baby hairs going across her face, and it's always so already so much drama going on with like the big curly hair, so cutting it at an angle and then i'm gon na bump it with the iron one more time. And then i'm going to set it hot sausage, swag hot sauce in my hot sauce in my bag, so this is the wig basically on my head, i'm not gon na lie to you guys. I already put this wig on earlier today, so um. It'S honestly not really much to show you guys as far as how to make a wig glue list like it's, not a science to it. It'S it's really simple. So, basically they sent like a box. I got some lashes which were pretty cute, especially i wear lash extensions girl and then um. They also sent the cap which um i did use the cap, and they also said which a lot of wig companies are starting to catch up on is um, basically providing elastic band. This is literally what makes a wig glue this like it's. It'S not that it's really simple, so i'm just going to show you guys just in case you guys have never seen it or you don't know um. So this is what the elastic band will look like: okay, um, if you purchase a wig and for some reason it doesn't come with this. You can purchase these from alibaba, i think for like less than fifty dollars. You can get like a hundred of them. So three you'll be good to go for the rest of the year. Um or you can just go to hobby lobby michael's and purchase regular elastic band and what you're going to do is you're going to sew it to the ear tabs. So, where your lace is like right here and right here on the inside of the wig, which i'm going to try to show some footage right now, you're going to actually go ahead and sew the elastic band right there at the ear tabs or sometimes what i Do because, honestly, i get lazy a lot and i just don't be having time is. Typically, you will see two combs inside of your wig that are again very close to the sides of the frontal where the ear tabs usually are or right above the ear tabs. I like to take the hooks. I think that might be what they used it for, but if not that's what i use it for, but you have these two hooks, because it's two different sides - and i just hook this into the um wig combs, okay. So then that way, you know it's removable. If you want to have the elastic, sometimes the elastic band after wearing your wig all day, the elastic band starts hurting your head. So you know, if you want to just snap that bad boy out, then you can - and these sides right here where it looks like a bra strap. This is how you're able to determine how tight you want your wig to be no different than how you decide how tight you want your bra to be it's the same. It'S the same thing going on, so it would be like this in the middle and then these two sides on the end. You are attaching to the combs inside of your wig, and this is basically just going to overall make your wig like the circumference of your wig, tight and snug to your head, as you guys can see, i don't have this inside of my wig, just it just So happened, it differs with each wig. It just will happen with this particular wig. I didn't need any additional tightening it's pretty snug to my head and there is no product, no hairspray, no gel, no tape, no, no! Whatever they come out with these days. There'S none of that on there. It'S just simply the wig on my head and i can show you guys what i mean right now and i was really surprised because, honestly, i'm not gon na lie. I thought, with the lace being brown, you were going to be able to see some type of line of demarcation, but you really can't it looks really good. It looks really natural and i just feel like naturally, baby hairs are going to help with any type of line of demarcation. If there was any where you could see the lace, so it does a good job of hiding. Any of that. But honestly, the brown tint to the lace actually worked well with my skin. Typically, i'm a transparent lace, hd lace, type of gal, but um the brown lace on this particular wig, like i didn't put any makeup on it or anything, that's just how it looks so. Yeah because, as you can see, the curls are really big. Earlier today, when i threw this wig on, i just i was trying to get out the door girl, so i just threw some water on it and i i left - and this is what i got it got like big, very, like a kinky, curly type of look. You know drama um is giving is giving beyonce and gold members yes giving that. So, if that's the type of look that you like, i would just say: detangle your hair spray down the water and then as you go outside this is what it will turn to. But if you like your curly hair to be more of like a sleek look like straight to like more to the face and like you know, just calm down a little bit, then you can definitely get that. Look. You just have to add some product, so i got um these products from walgreens. It looks like this was pretty new, so i wanted to share this with you guys. It'S called the curl whip, which is a whipped curl mousse and the curlfriend, which is a totally to die for it, defining curl cream, so um i got these and the crazy thing is. This stuff smells like cake for real, it's called cake and it smells like cake mmm. It smells so good when it to be like more towards the face, then i would say to use those two products together and it'll. Give you more of that. Look. I love it.
