Hey y'all welcome back now. You know i love a good transformation and today's video is no different, but i had to come and give you the drop on these v parts, because it's a little bit of scam and a little bit of trickery going on. And i don't really like that too much, so you are going to get true tea in this video, so make sure you stay tuned now, you're like what's the difference between a v part and a? U part well they're, essentially the same except a v part near the opening. It has individual knots, whereas the, u part has wefts so a v part is a lot less bulky. It allows for a more seamless finish now. You guys can see after co-washing this unit. The curl pattern was very different, so i had to go in and use my aussie miracle curls leave-in detangling milk, which is absolutely amazing at defining the curls and allowing for a slightly tighter curl. You guys know when i do curly hair. I love it big. I love it with volume and i just like to maximize the natural curl pattern on this unit because, as you can see in this frame, it's very loose it's a little bit wider, so just using this detangling brush is giving me all the results that i love And i have all of these products linked in the description box. Now. Can we talk about securing the wig? This unit has five snap-on clips around the v-part has two additional combs on the side and adjustable straps and an elastic band. This wig is not going anywhere. So if this wig falls off your head, you did something wrong: sis, okay, but it's great because you can flip the top on this wig or you can flip the back and you can oil, your scalp! You can grease it. You can take it off at night! So this is incredibly versatile, but my biggest advice is be careful when you install the combs near the crown and also situate the edge of the v part on the unit near the opening a little bit further behind your natural hairline. So it looks as flawless as possible and a lot less bulky now girl. I ran into a problem. I let this hair dry for about an hour and it was still like super moist and just kind of damp. So i went in with the felicia leather with detangling brush, which is amazing, i'm going to drop that in the description box, when you are ready to upgrade your combs for your wigs and your natural hair. Go get this one, but you guys see how frizzy my curls were. But i knew i was like you know what let's just keep going. Let'S do the trick that the girls say to use like a comb or a brush to like kind of create a little bit of frizz into the part, but girl that wasn't working okay, especially with this particular texture. Now i went in and i just used my rat tail comb to section out a very thin layer of hair, very thin section super thin. You don't want it to be bulky, i'm going to take this section and once i open up the clips on this side of the v part, i'm going to fold that section underneath. So basically, i wanted to disguise that material that sat at the front, because, even though it's very small, it's very minor, it was still considerably noticeable, especially compared to my texture here um. I'M about to call my hair like 4f, because y'all forget that like 4c here can also be fine as well, but also my hair color is considerably lighter, so it was very hard to blend. So i wasn't even going to try to attempt that this section, tuck and fold kind of method. I think i'm on to something. If you give me a little bit more time, i might be able to further improve upon this to fix those curls, i'm using the olive oil ors and again going back in with the detangling brush and i'm going to do two strand twists. So essentially, i did like a wash and go because i co-washed the unit and then used a curl defining product. But because i went in and combed everything out, because i didn't really feel the volume because it was giving beyonce drunk and love. And that's not what i'm going for. I love big curly hair. So doing these two strand twists is going to allow for a tighter curl, better curl definition, because i'm going to allow it to set overnight. But i'm going to take the ends of the twist and wrap them around my finger and then use these double prong clips to secure it in place a great tip. Oh, my goodness, i love the way the ends of my hair, just the entire hair in the finished product, how it look because my curls popping - and i did a total of 10 twists very simple: let's keep it basic because i'm running i'm running out of steam Here now it's the next day and i'm going to use a little bit of a whole oil to coat each twist. I want to make sure that i reduce the frizz, because we we already know what that looks like when we, you know, don't allow our hair enough time to dry now. Have you guys tried the v part wig? What'S the tea, what are your thoughts? Is this a texture you would try? I think i would like a texture. That'S a bit more kinky. I was super neat about how i did the twist, so they were incredibly easy to unravel, but again take your time and be neat when installing the twist now you may think girl. You don't have a lot of volume. Give me some time. So i'm gon na go in with each individual two strand twist and i'm going to further separate these sections, breaking them into smaller pieces, but there's a lot of tips and tricks and hacks in this video on how to maximize the volume for your liking. So if you like, a little less volume, you could probably stop here, but if you want to go big, keep on watching now. This wide tooth comb is everything it's going to give you the lift closest to the wefts or the knots, and it's going to also volumize and further break up the curls and with curly units. You can be very strategic about how much you trim. I didn't want to do too much just a little bit of framing around the face, especially oh and don't mind the fact that, like the makeup isn't even around my hairline, because i ended up fixing that now to further maximize the curls. I flipped my hair over and used the hard head spray all over the unit, pretty light mist, not too concentrated in a specific area you can. If you wish, you can apply a little bit of edge tamer, i'm using the style factor edge booster. This is optional and i let this set using a satin scarf, and this is where i start to fall in love now, like. I said this method of like folding and tucking. I think i have something here and i want to work on kind of improving it, but i myself don't find v parts to be too practical, but this is absolutely gorgeous if they improve the v-shape opening girl. This has me all over it because it is super gorgeous and it's a lot less manipulation. I have to do and i can be a lot more gentle to my hairline. JilliLayne: A good tip is to use the end of a rat tail comb to fluff up the "root" of the hair that you tucked under to camouflage the top, just a tad! And if you do the same with your own roots, it'll be seamless! I love the twist-out on the unit sis it's beautiful
