Welcome back to my channel, I am coming to you guys with a highly requested video. I mean I got people asking me constantly right now, if you watching this video you're gon na, know and see you from this them, edges are looking so nasty. So you know we have to do edges like it's a must. You cannot skip this or else your hairstyle will just look trash, so I am a natural sister, so I use got to be glued on my edges. I do prefer the black bottle over the yellow one because of how dry the other one makes my hair feel. If your edges are more obedient, you can use eco styler gel as a substitute you do not have to use, got to be glued, but yeah y'all could just watch me slay, my edges. So what I'm doing here is I'm tying my hair with a bandana. You can use a scarf whatever you prefer, to lay down your edges so that they dry in place and don't go into it. Okay, but y'all shoulda known, I was going dance anyways, but next I'm gon na take my bandana off and yes mami. You are looking good already, but the unit I'm using is from Aliexpress. I promise you this hair, it's like two years old. I just turned it into a wig, a u-part wig to be exact, and i just added wig clips. So it's easier for me to take on and off what I'm gon na do here is I'm gon na take a wig cap and I'm gon na take out the hair that I plan to leave out and you're gon na see me do this here. Okay, so to make your life a little bit more easier, you want to go ahead and clip away the part that you plan to leave out and I'm gon na take this black wig cap is like what 90s something like 99 cents at the beach supply store. I'M gon na cover the part of my hair that I plan on keeping underneath the wing, so here, you're gon na see me trying to put the clips attach the clips close to my party. If I don't do this, then the wig will come off as fake and it won't look as realistic. So you want to make sure that you put it close to your leave out so that it can blend seamlessly. Okay, when the hair is dry, can get really big. So what I like to do is take a spray bottle. You could take any spray bottle and fill it with some warm water, and I just like to spray my hair throughout and just to make sure that it's damp, not soaking, wet but wet enough to where you can be able to tame and manipulate the hair. Okay. So now I'm just taking out my twist for the section that I'm gon na leave out and if you are natural, you know that shrinkage is a B word, but hey we got a deal with it. I'D rather be natural than permed anyway. So I don't really like so I'm gon na take the wig and I'm gon na. Take my leave out and I'm gon na, join it together and a half up, half down style and I'm gon na sit here and I'm gon na get a little rubber band or the little scrunchies, and I'm going to tie it. Okay. So now you're left with leave out that doesn't really blend and it's okay, because my hair is not wet and it's not in its full definition form. But basically, what we're gon na do the blend is: is we're gon na twist our hair and make it seem as if it's the actual band, that's holding the ponytail? So, as you can see, I'm taking my hair and I'm wrapping it around the band and I'm going to put it in place with a bobby pin well next time, just sort of play with it to my liking and then voila. You got the finished product girl. You looking good, you look good snatched, you looking like this was homegrown and yeah. That'S just what I do for this hairstyle. So this look is the slicked-back ponytail, like I like to call this one, my signature, because I love doing this - it's easy for me and it lasts a really long time. So basically similar steps to the first hairstyle, except I'm gon na put the clips farther back on my head. That way. When I blend my leave out, it'll look like it's my whole hair at the front. Instead of having all that bulky, Whiggish look for this dog. We'Re gon na use the same light really personally, but similar products is the first hairstyle and we're gon na go ahead and part your hair, depending on how you, like it middle or side part, it doesn't really matter. I like little part because I just feel like it's easier for me to do, and it's faster okay. So next, what you're gon na see me do is I'm just gon na treat these next few steps, as if I was just doing a sleek back ponytail on my natural hair, I'm going to tie my hair back in a ponytail. It looks rough right now, but we're gon na fix it later, so don't worry about it. Next, I'm gon na take my eco styler gel and I like to use eco styler gel this process because, although it doesn't hold my natural hair well, it still gives me that wave effect where, like my curls, look pattern and then that's what helps it match. The curl pattern of my unit, so I'm just gon na, take a brush and I'm just going to brush my hair back, make sure everything is laying down flat and sleek, and then I'm going to put it in another ponytail. So you're gon na see me doing it here. I would say another rubber band and I'm gon na tie my hair back, but this time I'm gon na grip more and I'm gon na grip. Tighter that way, I'm getting all of my hair and not some of it, so I'm going to again tie my hair okay. So what I do next is, I take the first rubber band that I put on and I take it off that way this, since the second band has the tighter grip, I go with the tighter grip. I don't know if that makes sense, but yeah and then I'm just gon na fix up. You know my little mistakes or whatever make sure that the clips aren't showing the track isn't showing. Then I'm gon na take my got to be glued and I'm just going to lay the front that way. It lays a little bit flatter because I don't know why, for some reason, the flat the front of my hair is just really really stubborn and I'm just over it but yeah. So I'm just gon na brush it and make sure it's sleek whatever you know. So next I'm going to go in with my Honda johnsy bandhana and we are going to sleek our hair down with it make sure it dries nice and tight and girl. You just mastered how to finesse everyone with a u-part wig. Oh my gosh clap for yourself. You guys did it, but that concludes this tutorial. That is a girl. Wow. Look at you.
