Hey love bugs welcome back to my channel if you're tuning in for the first time, i'm ashley and today we'll be installing styling and displaying this beautiful wig from start to finish, she does come from nadula, which you guys know is a fan favorite here on youtube. A lot of your favorite influencers love medulla hair as much as i do this time they sent me over a b part wig. So from start to finish, you'll see me unbox the wig and style her without any secret tips or anything crazy. I'M literally just going to go ahead and take my natural hair blow it out, because i did co-wash it before this video because it was a little bit crusty and it was overdue for a wash in a deep condition, and then we and then from there you're Gon na see how i prep my leave out minimal, i did not add any baby hair and i also did not curl the hair to my hair to blend with the um wig. Instead, i went ahead and kind of like twisted the hair in to match. So if you see it, you see like you can see here. This is kind of like a twist right here, but if you don't see it - and i didn't tell you - wouldn't even notice - and i love this idea - because it gives me opportunity to wear color and blend it with my natural hair without me, going in and curling Each individual piece, because you guys know it's a rabbit hole if you curl your hair on day. One day two day three day, four you're gon na have to keep curling your hair. When you have leave out and then you risk damaging your hair, do wear a heat, protectant, um yeah. So let's go ahead and jump right into the video and then at the end, i'll kind of show you away with my cute little gucci star how i go ahead and like tie my hair down. So if you're interested in seeing how i got this look. Of course, you can keep on watching jumping right into it. This is me after allowing my hair to air dry, and then this is me again after just putting four twists in my hair. I knew i wanted to wear my hair out, but today i wanted to also play in the three part wig before i go ahead and put my hair into a ponytail. So this is the wig here and, as you guys can see, it came in this little net that has all the static in it. So, of course, i got a little bit of thrills, but this is the actual wig here i wanted you guys to see the inside construction of the cap and all the clips and wig clips that it includes in the inside to get a really good fit. So the thing about the part, wigs really with any wig is you have to make sure that you prep your hair properly, meaning your natural hair. So i kind of just parted out what would be considered or my version of a v shape of leave out, and then i just braided the rest of my hair back and i'm going to just put a little bit of a wig cap over top the wig Cap is literally just going to sit at the very back and not really protect the entire. You know perimeter of my head, but in my mind i still just need it just so that nothing snags in the back. My hair is going through it y'all. I had the you know what last summer um - and i don't know like my hair since was coming out in chunks in the shower so like i'm - about to start taking some hair, gummies and really working on my hair, because the the root is very thick. I can tell it's growing back, you know the way it's supposed to, but the ends are just so gone and just i don't know i'm just it makes me really sad because of how healthy my hair was, especially after giving birth to my kids, as you guys Can see i just locked the wig in with the wig clips. I only used the two in the front, but there are, i believe, four or five going around i'm very tender headed. So i don't want to put too many clips in just because you know any snack will make my eyes water. Then i went ahead and parted the hair or my real hair as neat as i could, and then just did like one little heat pass with that mini flat iron. Now, i'm gon na hold the base of the wig and just kind of pull the hair. Apart again, this is clipped in so you don't want to just go in and just start pulling at it because it's clipped to your hair. I was going to go in with that same flat. Iron and like do some spiral curls, but i just realized they wouldn't blend as well. I believe an option is you, can just grab like a small clump of the wig hair, as well as a piece of your hair, and you can sprout it spiral it together. That way, but i wanted to just figure out a way that would cause the most or the least rather um damage heat damage to my hair. So i'm just kind of going in, especially because the hair is so. My hair is so thin. I felt like i could just take those little pieces and just twist them into the wig. I think i did a good job at this, but i'm going to show you where i messed up in just a moment. The first product i'm going to use is a wax stick. Of course it's linked in the description box and, of course, you guys already know it's from beautiful.com. Instead of applying it directly to my thin hair, i kind of just applied it to the palm of my head and kind of just worked it in just to kind of weigh the hair down and just give it a little bit of something. This is a look at the back of the hair a little bit and just the work that i've done to kind of like pull it apart. I wanted to give like natural vibes. This is where i messed up. I added that spray, which is an extra hold spray and it kind of just made the hair a lot more stiff, so you'll see moving forward. It'S going to be like my hair is like sticking out and it just doesn't want to twist and move. It was that hair spray, that was a no-no, don't add the hairspray to your natural hair unless it's like heat trained or like permed or just more of a relaxed texture. Naturally, i went ahead and allowed the hair to set with my scarf. This also is style. One for this wig, i love love, love a good luxury designer scarf on top of hair. Okay love like we are done styling. This look. I'M actually going to just keep this on for a couple of more minutes so that i can still kind of flatten out my real hair. You guys know that i am natural, i am not relaxed, so i like to use a scarf, and this has been my favorite scarf of choice. I'Ve had this for a few years, and typically i would wear it. You know for special occasions, but you guys already know. I went to vegas last week for my um one year, married or wedding anniversary with my husband and my kids, and this is what i used as my scarf and it was like you know. This scarf is literally just sitting in the closet because i'm saving it for like when i do special things. I do nothing special, so wear it so right now, i'm using it to flat out flatten out the hairline, and while i do that i'll show you guys the packaging you guys already know the doula always comes with quality, hair and great packaging, as well as some Free goodies, so this here is a little mesh bag that has some goodies in it inside there's also two packs of wig caps. There'S also, it looks like a dust bag and, of course, their logo is in bowls okay, fast forward, one hour later or so camera died for the first time. I don't know how long like all three of my batteries were dead. So i was like you know what i'm not about to see here and keep playing batteries. I'M gon na go eat some rice and gravy, and some meatballs and all the dinner that i cooked tonight and i just took a break. So i did get pictures of myself with the scarf on. I just love this looking vibe this time i tucked it or tied it under a post to over under, is for like bedtime over like this, like how i had it like. The pirate style is more so the fashion girl style, in my opinion, um, but i just left it on there, because you know my hair again for the hundredth time is not um. What'S the word called heat trained or relaxed, so i just wanted to make sure that um it didn't revert now. What also helps it reverse? On top of doing, a press is like a thermal spray when you um press it out and or a um thermal spray and or the wax. So like. I put a little bit of wax on there that kind of coats the hair and give it a little bit of shine and kind of like slicks it down to relax it so that, when you add it, it kind of is a little less likely to puff Up, it's more so to act like way down, so i kind of just played on the dark root and i just said: let's just go ahead and take individual pieces and kind of twist them in there with the um extensions, and i think that was the best Bet for trying to make my hair blend, especially because it already came with a dark root. Now, if it was all black, it would be a different story. You can definitely go in and um do the spiral curls. But for me this brow curl should just think in my head just thinking that like if i would wear this wig daily, then i'll have to go in and touch the curls daily and we are not doing that. No heat damage moving forward. So i do like this little combo, the mini flat iron that i use is actually coming to the site pretty soon so make sure you check out that the doula also has a couple of other um, not a couple, but they do have other options. So if you're not into the v part lace wig, you have or lace wig, i'm all over the place. If you're not into the colored v, part wig, you can get it in a natural color. You can get it in straight body wave or different textures or if there's the part. Wig is not your thing at all. You can also go there for lace, closures, lace, frontals! You guys know i've been working within the doula forever and they work with plenty of influences. So you guys know they are a trusted brand to rely on for your hair needs. I love how full this one is and again this is something that i would wear with a scarf um, mainly so that like when it's time to pop out, i can pop out in the hair. It'S like a sleek, but because i don't want to lay on it and all of that i would always keep the scarf on like when i am lounging around the house and then when i'm out and about you know pop out. Let me know what you guys think of this one that i executed or not hope you guys learned something and just know instead of i think about like when you get braids and you have like color in your hair, you, when you braid, you can kind of Like hide the color in your hair to match the braids, that's pretty much the technique. I use so like here it's a little bit twisted, so it kind of blend. You can't tell us twist it unless you know, but it kind of is like holding the hair down. You can definitely use the wax and um hairspray to help as well, but yeah i'm ashley, b deck.
