Oh, hey everybody and welcome back um. Today i am going to try something new. I got my girl neat in the chair and we are going to try tapings okay. Now, i'm starting off by you know using our heat protectant. This set and shield serum, which is in stock right now, if you need you some and i'm just going to put it all over her hair and i'm going to blow dry it straight. So i know i haven't seen you guys in two weeks, my bad the summer just started summering out of nowhere. You know what i was saying like the summer had been real boring for a while. Then, all of a sudden it started you know picking up. So i was like you know. Let me just have a little fun for the summer, but i am here with a good video and it's kind of cool, because today is not a tutorial, because i'm going to tell you, i have no idea what i'm doing like. No clue i'm just trying something, because i'm like you're not about to be doing stuff and leave me out of it like you're, not about to leave me off bed and bougie. I want to know how to do it too, so i just decided that i wanted to try tapings. I think they look really cool. I have been a little hesitant for a long time about trying them um, just because you know when things don't absolutely look healthy to me from the eyes view uh. It makes me just kind of be a little standoffish about it, but i just decided to see how i really feel from experience now when doing tape. Ins first of all, i had to decide who was a good candidate, and i just chose neat um. I have a couple people that i think is good for so i just started with me because just in case i make any mistakes she going love on me instead of beating me up okay, so we are just going to blow her hair out and see. You know i got her hair to blow out pretty straight now. Somebody like me, who only presses their hair like once a year now, my hair, it really puffs up right away after i blow dry it, and i mean we have the best blow dry technique to straighten the hair out, but my hair just isn't trained anymore. So i couldn't do it on me, um and i have a lot of clients whose hair puff up because they wear their hair natural styles more so than straight now. So neat was a good candidate because her hair will blow dry straight and it'll stay straight. So, as you see, her ends are a little sparse and so we're going to go in and trim them. First, i was wondering with tape ins if i should trim it or not, because i didn't want a super, harsh and blunt line to show through her extensions. But one thing about me: i hate seeing videos where people are doing hair and they don't go in and take care of real hair. First, like you have to take care of your real hair, underneath that's the only way that you are going to gain length and retain it. So just make sure you take care of your hair trim. Your ends, give yourself deep conditions and wrap your hair up every night with a silk or satin scarf. So my first step is to do the leave out, so i'm gon na do the top, as if i'm about to give her a u-part or really heavy leave out for a sew-in. And then i'm just gon na go around the perimeter and take out just enough that it would cover the tape in so kind of think of it as if you were covering a weft for a sew-in or even a like a quick weave. Remember quick weaves! You would just take out this part right here and leave the perimeter out so that you're able to have flexibility with the hairstyle like throwing it up in ponytails buns, just making it as versatile as possible. A way to test, if you have left out enough hair, is to put your combs tail there and just lift the hair up and make sure that it's covering it and then you should be good from there. I learned that from mad about michi um go follow her on youtube. I'Ve watched 75, 000 tape and videos on youtube. I'M literally just taking a bunch of steps from a bunch of different videos that i watch and put them together and see if i can uh. If i can do this style now, i a lot of people just press the hair out first and go from there, but me i wanted to like get that leave out out of the way, because the way tapings seem like they work to me, every little strand Can get caught up in that adhesive, so i didn't want to like risk that plus i don't really know what i'm doing so. I just decided to just get this completely out the way and only work with the hair that i need to work with for now. Now, my next step that i'm going to do is i'm just going to take the hair that i am going to add. The tape ends to, and i am going to pre-prep them by pressing them out. I'M doing that so that when i add the extensions to it, it's already pressed in between the hair and i don't have to go in there and try to get all the hair pressed at the same time. I think it's just better to do it like this, and this is how i seen all the women do it that i watched on youtube, i'm using our flat iron, the 22 titania in the color smoke and mirrors. It is available at deeper than hair.com i'll leave. A link below for this flat iron, the signature royal color, which is the purple ones, are out of stock and they will be back for the holidays, but we do have smoky mirrors left so go ahead and grab you some. If you want to and um - and also we have a few more surprises coming for the holiday season as well, which will be here really really soon, i know it seems premature to talk about the holidays in august, but child every time you blink your eyes. It'S a new mouth. I can't even i can't even deal now if you've never seen tape ins before this is how they look up close um. They have basically an adhesive strip on the there's, no weft, it's just all strands within the adhesive, and you know it's just straight: you can get straight kinky, curly, whatever texture and just add it to your hair. So now i'm just going to take that pressed part of her hair and i am going to lift it up and start to get it ready for the application. Now. One of the videos i watched, told me to lay the tape ins in the smaller direction. So i'm just going to take their protective coat off of the tape in and i'm going to lay the first extension up, um, which i learned from another video and then go from there now as soon as i put that on there i realized like yeah. That'S probably wrong: it's probably wrong. That'S just not the way that it should go and also i didn't part it out for the first section i literally just laid it on the hair and waited for the part itself. Now it does part itself, but that's not how how you're not you're not supposed to do it like that. So as soon as i did that i said the need, i said yeah, this one was wrong, but it takes so much to remove them that i wasn't going to remove it. I just decided to leave it there, and my brain basically told me that the weight of all the other tapings will just camouflage this one. So we're not gon na trip. We'Re not gon na trip. We'Re gon na learn from our mistakes and we're gon na keep on pressing. So now that we got that trial taping out of the way i am just going to do it. The way that i should have by starting right on the first row with a thin layer and i'm just going to go in and lay that tape in correctly now, first, i'm going to take a taping and i'm just going to measure how much hair i need To use - and i'm just going to pull it out like that, then i'm just going to lay the tape in on the bottom of that piece of hair and then pull it down. Make sure you give it a little tiny bit of space away from the root. So that it's flexible, you want to be able to lift it up and down your hair. You just want to be able to just move it around instantly. Then i'm going to take another tape in and i am just going to sandwich that over the piece of hair that we just added the bottom of the tape into. If you get what i'm saying so, i'm going to do this a few more times throughout the whole video, because i know i'm explaining it crazy, but that's because i'm really learning it on my own too, but i like the method of putting the tape in under The hair first instead of on top and lifting it, i think it's a lot easier for me. If you do tape ins, let me know how you do them or how you think you would do them or if you would even do them at all. You know, like i said it took me a little while to even get into them because i was like i don't know if this is good for the hair and actually, i still don't know you know, but for now we are just going to try it out. It'S really going to be the removal process to. Let me know what i really think about it: uh, but but yeah. I think i'm kind of getting the hang of it. As you see, i had told me, i said around about row three i should be in the groove, but it really took me like to row five to really be just moving fast. So it's a fun process, though it made me want to try him on somebody else. To be honest with you, i i really love trying new things, because, especially as a hair stylist that everybody comes in for the same thing for like, can i get it straight? Can i get curls, can i get straight? Can i get curls? Can i get a bob? Can i get a bob? Can i get a bob? Can i get a bob? Everybody wants the same exact thing, and sometimes you just get a little bored with what you do. You love what you do, but it just gets to be a little repetitive and you just want to do something different and just kind of stimulate your mind, and you know that's why my opening my opening quote today was remain a student in a world full of Masters because there's so many people claim to be masters, but at the end of the day you could have mastered something but you're still a student there's, always so much more things to learn, no matter what your craft is uh, there are new things coming out every Day and it's just so much room to grow, no matter what you're doing so, that's why i chose that quote today. Um, and hopefully it spoke to you now. One thing i was really trying to do is get these tapings as neat as possible. I didn't want to just throw them in. I wanted to be very straight and they're kind of like laying bricks uh. You know. If you lay in bricks and they're, not straight, then you miss the whole. Like i don't know, what's the word i'm trying to use like you know what i'm saying you miss like the essence of it all, it's like it's supposed to be uniform, so i'm like is that what tapings are supposed to look like, because you know it was Driving me crazy, if i couldn't get them lined up with each other, so i tried my best to do them as straight and even as possible. I just wanted them to look very neat. I didn't want them to look any other way because in my brain, if they weren't neat, then i was failing so yeah. I just did what i could and and went as hard as i could and i feel like they came out pretty cool. I was like thinking to myself. If i had these, would i enjoy feeling this in my head all the time like i wear units i've, worn, quick, weaves, i've, worn sew-ins and they don't usually bother me. I might get a little hot or i might get itchy, but they don't really bother me just being there, so maybe not um. I guess i would have to try them just to see. I also thought about doing my hair in when i wear my real hair. Curly, i thought about adding some curly tapings just to make my fro even bigger, so once i get these a little more down pack, i definitely think i'm going to try that on my own hair, you feel me, so why not is so. I pressed needs leave out um off camera. I didn't film that, because this video is long already and i'm just combing it out and it is blending so well, i don't even see that line from when i trimmed her hair. Super blunt, like i did, and now i'm just going to go in and cut some layers in one thing: when girls get bundles, oh and let me tell y'all, i've just used 200 grams of tapings in her hair. I know somebody probably is going to want to know that 200 grams, each that first little bundle. I showed you when i showed you what tapings look like is a hundred grams, so i used two of them. I used 22 inches and 20 inches um the closer. I got to the top, so it could kind of layer itself, but i'm also going in with my hair strands of hair shears um, and these are her new gold um sheer they are so beautiful. She has them in stock. Her strands of hair.com strands is spelled with a z and i'm gon na put some layers in there. A lot of girls are scared to put layers in their bundles, and i feel like it just helps, give it that judge that you could be missing, but i also understand bundles cost a lot of money and a lot of people don't want to cut it up, Especially if they're going to keep reusing them, because sometimes when you cut your hair, it's hard to put it exactly where it was when you reinstall it. So then you end up with a little choppiness and then you got ta keep cutting at it again. So it gets real out here in these bundle streets. I understand so now. Look at that. I didn't even press. I didn't even press the tape ends out, and this looks that good already now, i'm just going to show you the versatility. I am lifting her hair up. Look how cute the ponytail is y'all, like you, can't see any tape, it's just so cute and it's nice and heavy, and i didn't put a ponytail holder on it. I should have, but i just wanted to show y'all what it could do without doing too much and then also you could just wear it up in a little sloppy bun bun. You see that it's so cute, i'm so into the bun. Look, how fly no tapes in sight, um and yeah like come on you that this is my favorite part. This right here is my favorite part of the tapings, my favorite part of any versatile weave just being able to pull it up. So now i'm just going to go and install it. I wasn't going to overdo it, but one of my styles means she was like go ahead, overdo it. So i'm just going to go in and i'm going give her some curls some light um. Just to add a lot of volume to the hair, not nothing too tight um. I thought about doing super tight, curls or wines, but i just want to do something to just give her body so the first layer on her real hair, i'm just going to curl it with the flat irons. But after that, i'm going to go in and i'm going to curl it with the marcel's, because the marcel stove irons, depending on what style you're doing it, helps it last a lot longer and they're really heavy duty. So i decided to use those for the extensions. Also, tape ins are reusable, but let me tell you when i seen the process of what you have to do to reuse your tape, and it turned me completely off like it made me feel like. I would just buy new tape ins every time because you have to remove the adhesive is very tedious when you remove the adhesive um from the extension, but you remove it and then you put new adhesive on. But it's just it's a lot of work and i can see why stylus charge as much as they do for tapings this process right here was almost three hours and that's a lot of time and it's a very tedious job, especially when you know exactly what you're Doing you know what i'm saying, but i can see why it costs so much so it doesn't have to cost a million dollars, but try not to give your stylist grief when you want these kind of hairstyles, because this took hours to do and it's it's just A lot of work also the removal process, so how you remove these is there's like a little solution that you use and it comes in a little like a squirt bottle, with a really tiny nozzle that fits in between um those two tapes and you just squeeze That that solution within there and just kind of massage it until it loosens up and then you just remove them carefully, it's supposed to be very minimal shedding and it's supposed to be super easy on the hair. So eventually, when neat takes these out because they're they're also waterproof, you could shampoo condition your hair with these and everything. I don't advise putting any oil to your scalp or anything like that, because oil doesn't usually mix well with um adhesives. So, just try not to do that. I'M just coming up with things that i kind of know about tapings but, as you know, i'm still learning but i'ma get into them. I think it might be a vibe. Now after i curl each section um, i just kind of hold it in my hand a little bit, let them cool off. I also for the ones closer to the front. What i'm going to do is after i curl it. I just put a little clip on it like you could use a duckbill clip a pin, curl clip and just hold it um. Maybe every two curls or every other curl take it off. I don't want them to be super tight, we're not going for the tight curl look today. We are just going for volume, so you don't want your curls to be super tight. If you do, then you could put those clips on there and you could just leave them on for a while until you're done. You could leave them on overnight if you want to under a silker, satin scarf and it'll, make it super tight, but that's not the vibe we're going for today. Now, one of the other things i was worried about with tape. Ins was just they just seemed like they had a lot of tension going on, but once i got into them and did them, i realized it's not a lot of tension at all and even neat the whole time i was doing she kept saying this is so Lightweight it's so lightweight, and you know i appreciate that part of it just that lightweightness. Is that a word lightweightness? No, i'm pretty sure it's not, but just the fact that it's lightweight like that. I feel like that's just better on the hair, because it's no tension. It'S not super heavy. It seems weird, though, because it's on such a small section of hair, but as you see it is locked in place, they're not moving whatsoever they're, not doing anything where they're, just literally laying there just holding on to their for dear life, so so yeah, i'm not Really worried about the attention aspect of it all anymore. Now you can also get tape ins in a lot of different textures. I used uh perm yaki texture on neat because we wanted it to be nice and heavy. You know sometimes tape ins, look like they're on the thinner side, which is cool because the thinner it is, i feel like it, looks even more natural, but we use the perm yaki on her, but they have kinky, they have curly, they have water wave. They have straight, they have deep wave. So, no matter what your desire is for your hairstyle, i'm pretty sure that they have a tape in just for you um. So one more thing: i think that i'm trying to think of what i want to tell you how long these last, i would say at least a month or a month and a half like i said you can wash your hair blow dry. It out condition it all of that, so i've seen online i've seen somebody wear them for up to nine weeks and it literally just grows. It grows away from your scalp, just like any other extension, and i think as long as you just take care of them, you'll be fine. The thing about it is the longer they grow. Then you run the risk of being able to see the tape, ins and - and it's hard to conceal so that i think that's the only con for when they start growing. Okay, so her curls are done and now i'm just going to kind of brush them out. In a minute, so i can get that that look that we're going for, but they look pretty even left in. So i'm just taking a wig brush with really really thin teeth like small bristles and i'm going in just to bring that hair together. And i'm just going to fluff it up and see it's just giving a nice little tassel lee action going on just pull it to the front, to show you what it's looking like on this neat meat, that's my bookie, and so i'm just going to yep just Fluffing doing a little something something um, and this can you imagine how pretty this will look in a ponytail to these all these curls just putting it up in a ponytail and just fluffing, her real hair to the front, and she absolutely loves it. She was into it and i think i did great for my very first time. What do you think thanks for watching see you next time you

Morgan Malker: You installed them very well for your first time!!! Just a helpful hint, leave a little bit more space between the panels. When they get a little bit of slack, they will start to flap on top of each other and could cause tensions at the ends of the panel. But it’s sooooo beautiful!!!!

Patti 1962: I LOVE the fact that you are willing to try new things, in front of all of us. I spent my career as a professional musician, and I always kept that same approach.... that I was always a student ready to learn new things! And the best people to work with also had that same approach. Keeping oneself humble is always best. And you do that beautifully. Speaking of beautiful, the tape in were stunning so great job!!!

A Valentine: This style wouldn’t last in my hair. I sweat too quickly. I wanna see how to take them out. Anyway your styles are always cute! Love you Ke

Monique: I love how honest you are about not having a clue on what you’re doing

D R-K: Your model is super cute! She had such great expressions on her face. You did a FANTASTIC JOB. I love that you are humble enough to accept you could learn more and the intelligence to go for it so that you can add to your bag of skills. Keep growing!

Yaya’s Living: “Summer started summering” Sis, I got you! Get it!

Alexandra Scassera: This might sound silly, but I've been having a really terrible time lately. Health problems, relationship problems, everything that could happen has. I just have been so depressed and then I saw you posted this video. Something about your voice and these videos is so soothing and positive. Just wanted to say you lifted me up out of a dark space for a bit with this video. Thank you.

Michelle's Daughter: I got the mini flat iron (Peggy Sue) a few weeks ago. I love it! My edges get super smooth with it. I also love the cute case

Colleen A: Thank you for your honesty and being vulnerable! It looks beautiful and I’m not surprised that you did such a great job! I’m fellow hairstylist. I don’t do black womens hair because I’m a barber. If I did, I totally would want to do it like you! You treat the hair like it’s gold!

that girl in okc: Your life lessons always go beyond hair. Thank you for sharing the fail. Just more proof that it’s okay to make mistakes when you’re learning something new. I needed to hear this= Don’t be afraid to try new things.

Nacie Johnson: I’ve been doing clip ins for 11 years. Always thought about tape ins, but I’m scared. Can you show the takeout process?

Ajay: I am so happy that you posted this because I have seen more and more black woman recently getting tape ins and I really wanted to learn more about it. I personally don't think I'll ever do this in my hair, but I wanted to know how it's done.

Aqualew: Can't wait to see the removal process.

Beware the Lily of the Valley: This came out amazing! First time ever hearing about tape-in extensions, this was a new world for me, too, lol! She looked gorgeous and I love how thrilled she was when she saw the result. Be proud of yourself!

Summer Leonard: Its so exciting watching you try this for the first time and still do an amazing job as always.

Sydney Burman: I saw someone use the Pink Glosser spray to melt the adhesive, she said it was nice because the remover reverts the hair between the pieces of tape which can cause tangles while removing. She said the pink spray actually moisturized the hair and it stayed straight while the tape slid right off!

Patrice Simmons: Kudos you did awesome. I love how even with a new type of install you didn't act like you knew everything and that you gave your suggestions into its care. I think it's honestly like gluing the hair in but better because no glue balls left. Thanks a million for being open and honest!!!⚘️⚘️⚘️

Anna Inspain: It's so good to see the level of trust you have with your clients/friends. I've been going to the same stylist for several years, getting a center parted short bob. He seemed to just have an awful time with it, to the place that it was like one good cut and the next not so good. He finally told me "you know this is a difficult style." I finally decided, hey, trust your cutter! and told him to put the part on the Left side. He gave me "that look" and asked me, "How long have you parted your hair on the Left?" "Since I was a kid." "So WHY do you always ask me for a center part?" "Because...it makes the cut last longer? When it grows out a little I shift the part to the Left..." Silence, tapping comb on the table...more of "that look." Then finally, "Sweetie, if you want a long-lasting short bob parted on the Left, just TELL ME that! I've had a heck of a time fighting with your hair because you trained it to part on the Left since how long?" *Blush* "Um...about 55 years, since it got long enough to cut when I was a kid..." I'm lucky he didn't cut that bob under my chin...from ear to ear! LOL

Kalisha J: I'm so glad you did these, I always value your opinion. I want to try tape ins and since I'm very much a diy girl when it comes to hair I've watched a lot of videos as well. You did a great job!!

Sylvia Loves the Most High: Your laughter is infectious ‍♀️ Thank you... yes Summer came and now it's all about Fall

kalika moore: I love it! All the way around kudos. Cause in life we will never be an expert. Always a student. There is always something new we can learn.Wiser from the past. Absolutely awesome! She looked amazing!

Tanisha Woodyard: Love it. I have been wanting to explore this option as a professional stylist. Can you do a wash and maintenance video as she wears them. Thank you

Kendra Marie: This came out amazing! You did a wonderful job. I would love to see the take down process on this client, if that's possible. The body and the curls are gorgeous! She looked so happy with her results.

Britte Sanchez: It's so wonderful that you have someone that you can learn on without fear of backlash

kelly zavandro: You wanting to learn new things is how you know it's still your passion! Thank you for taking us on your journey & inspiring us to keep leaning

Nicole Graves: Girl I was waiting for you to drop a video with this style, I’m obsessed it came out gorgeous!!!!

so keke j: Happy Sunday Kee glad to see you back her hair turned out so beautiful have a safe good week!

Joseph T.: You did an amazing job, Ms. Taylor. To me, the best part about the video was the opening. Being a student in a world full of Masters... that's an excellent title and mindset. This is why you're awesome at what you do!

Ericka J Stevens: Her hair looks beautiful! Love the curls and the cut layers! ‍♀️‍♀️ For someone installing tape ins for the first time, they look great!❤️

Julie R: The extensions, the lashes...she’s beautiful! ❤️

Khulania Frost: I want to say, I'm in love with my mini flat iron (Peggy Sue). Thank you. Can we expect the full size with ceramic plates?

Jazmin Elle : I was like you with the tape-in trend. Some part of me still think it isnt good for your hair. I feel like the adhesive can rip your hair out just like a rubberband. BUT if you stamped it. I will consider lol. You did a great job!

S. Rogers: Absolutely Beautiful! I'm with you on the tape-ins not seeming healthy for the hair. Anytime I think about adhesive and hair, my mind automatically thinks damage...but hair technology has come so far, so it might not be as bad as we're thinking. You did a wonderful job, she looks lovely!

VintageShee: Girl! I have been waiting for your stamp of approval on tape ins before trying them out

D'Adrea Smith: I was literally on your TikTok like damn I can watch her do hair forever and boom here you areeee

Mander Pander Salamander: I always love your quotes in the beginning but this one really did speak to me! I try to live my life that way. Sometimes I succeed. LOL

Colleens Adventures : i had tape-ins 2 years ago when i badly damaged my hair with over process wich left me with broken off pieces in the front of my hair so i used them to cover it up , i used the same 2 sets for 6 months and installed them myself with things from sallys once my hair grew in again i was left with very healthy hair no issue with them they saved my confidence for sure

llExcusesll: I had my first appointment at your business and it was amazing. Everyone was super nice. I will be back in a few months for a trim

Cara M: You did a great job Kee They also have a instrument you can use to press the wefts together. I'll stick to my half sew ins, when I don't want to deal with all this hair ☺️ Have you done microlinks?

Marquita Payne: This came out BEAUTIFUL! I would need to see the take down process but it also looks like a person could do this easily on their own hair! Great job, not even just for your first time, it’s just a great job all around.

patricia Byrd: Her hair is so pretty and healthy, you did a an amazing job as always I love it, can't wait to see what's next with that being said you have a safe and bless day and I'll see you on the next video❤

Courtney P: I think it looks great. Love seeing you do new things outside your comfort zone. I said I'd get tape ins this fall b/c my hair gets puffy too

QueenMeJC: I think you did a great job! It looks really good, but I would love to see the maintenance process and the take down before I get tape ins. I agree with you when you said that you weren't sure if it was good for the hair. I don't want to cause damage or breakage. The model is absolutely gorgeous!

Darren Auberry: Definitely don't be ashamed to mess up on your first application of these. It seems like this would be something VERY difficult to do perfectly on the first try. Also, I listen to these videos every night. They're relaxing.

ty lynn: This is really pretty! Now that I've start my loc journey (which I love), I'm seeing so many new ways to do hair. Lol

Ashleigh B: Cute style! I would love to get some tape ins for a wedding or special event. I rarely ever wear my hair straight and trying to find a texture that will match my natural texture would be WORK! But this style turned out so beautiful. Great work! You always nail it.

Natalie 'MsCrzySxyCool' Harris: Hey Queen-Sister ❤ I'm mos def a student. Tape-ins are a lot easier to deal with than gluing tracks in. Applying looks easy but removal I've never seen before.

Erinl hair: I can’t wait to see what you think after your removal process ! But I do tape ins and Microlinks and with tape ins I like to part my section and then I put the top one on first lift it up clean up what ever hair shouldn’t be stuck in the adhesive then lay the 2nd tape on. I also like to leave a small amount of room before placing the next one

Gentle-Storm Wyatt: Yesssss Ke. I always loved the idea of tape ins but needed an honest opinion. Thank you. I want to get some but for kinky hair and do twist outs for fullness and some (not too much length) but I finally got a cut so my hair is short. I said I WILL NOT wear wigs during the summer since my edges are SHOT lol, but this looks like an amazing alternative

Rhonda Wilson: And another one!!!!!! You never cease to do an amazing job girl, it looks really good

bran: kee i love how you learn new things and you're not afraid to say you've never done it before and it's your first time

EMPRESSL: I think you did an amazing job! I loved it and would get it done at least once to see how I managed with it. She was beautiful and her smile was every when you fluffed her hair in the front. She was definitely feeling it!

KRISTINE SANTA: Gurl! She looks stunning! You did amazing! I love your commentary the most though! You make me smile and are so positive! I really love you and your channel!

Hair by Mz Magic: I WISH! My natural hair would never! Her hair is gorgeous Unfortunately my Silk Press only lasts 4 to 5 days, so this isn't a option for me

krisdiane: She is too cute. I would sure not have guessed this was your first time. Absolutely gorgeous result as always!

Leticia C: You did a beautiful job this is very pretty on her

_AirOnTheAir_: A TRUE stylist when you can master a complexed style you’ve never done before! PURRRR!!

tonya pitt: That's beautiful! That style looks really good on her! ♥️

fine9ja: I love it. She looks absolutely beautiful. I want to know the update on the integrity of her hair after the removal. Are tape in reusable? 3 hours in a chair tho, I don't have the patience anymore but it looks worth it. I might try it.

Dacia Drummond: I love the final results! You did a great job.

Quirky Jones: I think the take down of the tape ins is what concerns me. As well as it doesn't seem like a suitable choice for someone like me with really thin edges.‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️ Let me know what you guys think???

cnsf88: You did great!! That came out gorgeous ❤️

Ceejane Bryant: First time to your channel. Love the fact that you are confident and willing to try something new without fear of judgement. Great job!!! Very impressed! Of course I'm all natural. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Darlene R.: Hi Kee!! I’m still waiting for that special invite to your chair. As usual, you did an amazing job, especially being your 1st time. My little 2 cent tip: Along with a little space in between the panels, I left a little smidge of space on the ends of each panel as well. If the hair strands get caught, it can pull, cause breaking and be super painful. This also helps with a great sandwich sticking… meaning the ends of the sandwich being panel to panel.

Sweet KoKo50: Love ❤️ this! I got certified while in school for this but haven’t tried it since. I’m definitely going to look for someone who would like to experiment with me . I get bored with the same hairstyles

SirD: Amazing job but I honestly didn’t expect anything less also loved what you said about trying new this!

Asia Monday: You did an amazing job! Thank you for your transparency and willingness to continue learning and evolving in your craft

RubyLovesRocket: I like the opening quote and sentiment. My Babcia always said "If you learn something new everyday, you'll live forever."

Scorp86: I love this, her hair texture is just like mine. You made me a believer for it to be your first time. I will definitely be trying italso that ring is

Luci: When you said, “yeah, this is probably wrong, but we gon press on through!” be like that sometimes! That hair is gorgeous.. I’ve been wanting try some but those kinky bundles are expeeeeennnnsive, because my hair is not heat train and it will curl back up after a press..

Natasha Rochelle: Amazing. I love how you make sure to take care of the natural hair first. Also your humility, in saying you watched others to learn how to do them❤️Can you show us the take down of these, so we can see if there were any effects (negative) on her hair?

Tina Brown: So glad you did this on your platform,I was wondering how this was done,as I have been seeing a lot of this lately.Thank you for always being so transparent, and taking us with you

Liya 👿: You did great for your first time doing the tape ins

Deatrice Fields: I can wait til you do an update video!! I have a few clients that wants some and I would like to see what wear and tear looks like, I was saying the same thing to my clients I have no clue!! Lol so it’s so refreshing to see someone in my boots as well!! Thanks

TB THOM: Powerful Quote. That install process though… Gorgeous Results!!!

Jade: Her hair turned out beautiful. You did great for the first try. It’s nothing like marcel curls they just give a different look to the hair. Thanks for sharing your process.

Nancy Fisher: I love you. This is the first style I felt uncomfortable with. It seems that the adhesive will damage the scalp and hair. I’m all about taking care of our real hair. Just how it seems to me.

Joyful Living: She looks beautiful!!! You did a great job!Love your videos! Been watching since before you moved. I appreciate your "healthy hair first" motto. I've been thinking about kinky curly tape-ins. Sidenote: This West Philly girl just loves to just come to your channel to listen to your voice when I'm homesick. #Phillyaccent. Keep shining sis!

Malissa H: You're so transparent, I love it! A lot of stylists you can tell don't know what they are doing but they still pretend like they do. At least you tell the TRUTH! It ended up looking amazing. I don't know about tape-ins though, seems like that'll take out a person's strands out and thin the hair over time.

Dani 💛: same perspective on being hesitant to try tape ins, so i'm glad to be on the learning journey with you! Tape ins are super cute but I def thought, they dont look healthy. I know im gonna have a good idea on if I should try them or not after watching this! Im so excited!!

DebDeb P: I would love to see the takedown! Curious to see how it impacts the real hair. Looks beautiful!

ChiChi Styles: Been watching you for years!! I’ve definitely adopted a lot of your techniques. I’ve taken a class and definitely been taught a different way as far as placement. But they’re looking good.

Sue C: That looks amazing and her happiness is beautiful too!

Ash Young: Girl you got this! I know you like clean work this is perfect for you!

Madison Williams: She's gorgeous and the hair is amazing for it to be your first time

Evie Elizer: I’m considering this style now it loooks soooooo good .

Endiya: You did an amazing job for the first time ✨ I was watching other videos and they said to not put it too close to the roots so you can put it in a pony and the roots and breathe☺️

Just Jay: Beautiful job! ❤️ I just started getting tape ins a month ago and I love them! They are weightless and my stylist here in houston does an exceptional job. Mine stayed in for 3 weeks until I washed them and they started to slip out easily. I believe I washed them wrong, plus my hair was extremely oily.

Motha F’n Jai: Yes!! You showed out!! & I agree ❤️”stay a student amongst masters”. PS….the model was absolutely GORGEOUS ☝

Versatile Female: You did that boo! Im inspired to try tape ins on myself.

Tee Trotter: You did an Amazing job for your first time!

Janea: Always thought of trying tape ins just not sure about how long they last. I have used clip ins once or twice. But would love try other options. If you need a volunteer ‍♀️ pick me i love your videos ❤️

Deb Macie: I would love to see a video on removing the tape extensions. I can’t imagine how you remove them. Her hair looks great! You did a very good job and I can see she is thrilled.

Santucci Pontarelli: That’s beautiful. You did an excellent style. Thank you for sharing

T Mom: That came out ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! Would you please show the take down? You did a great job answering possible questions on install and how she will care for it, but I am curious on how much hair is lost on the take-down. For some reason that tape on a small amount of hair seems problematic. Thanks as always for sharing!

Quinten Jackson: I notice back in the day Britney Spears would wear tape in's. Which inspired me to cut my sister's doll hair and add it to some tape, then tape the hair to my head or another doll.. I knew this shit actually worked. I wasn't crazy

Allysse: As soon as I heard your voice I hit the like button! Your voice feels like the hug I needed all week so much love and admiration for you.

1obedience: That quote definitely spoke to me, I love being a student and you did an awesome job.

Christine Adams: I think you did a wonderful job for your very first time like you always do her hair looks so beautiful and so is she

Emeth: My suggestion is to remember not to put them in so close. Leave a little space between each tape-in and leave some hair off of the ends of the tape-in so that they stick together better. You are right about the oil. Oil will make them slide out. You did well. Her hair is beautiful.
