Amazon U Part Wig Review And Install | Grwm

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, thank you guys so much for being here today. Um. If you are not subscribed to my channel, go ahead and subscribe today, i am doing a u-part wig install and i'm also going to be reviewing the wig um. I got this wig from amazon and it's curly um. Let me look again. If it's, let me tell y'all exactly what it is so this wig is. This is deep wave, it's a deep wave, curly wig and this wig is supposed to be 26 inches. I'M gon na be honest. It don't really look like it's 26 inches. I don't know if it's because it's curly, but let me show y'all what it looks like it is a u-part wig, and this is what the curls look like. The curls look really pretty. I love it um. The reason why i wanted to get a u-part wig is because i've been wearing like lace fronts, the last few weeks and kind of just wanted a break from like the lace, maintenance and stuff like that. So i was like. Let me just get a curly u-part wig, so i came across this on amazon. I thought it was so pretty so i just had to get it and i love it and, like i said this is 26 inches and y'all. I cannot wait to install this um. There is a smell to it. Y'All i hate that, but i always i have something that i do whenever there is a wig smell so before i install this wig, i'm going to get in a bucket with some fabric softener. Let it sit for as long as i can as long as it can sit and i'm gon na just you know, do that, so that i can wear it. Because i mean i don't i'm not trying to be walking around with a wig smell like no. But if you have never like worn a u-part wig like they're amazing, if you really want like a natural look like, i feel like you probably are always the way to go, and also i'm gon na be washing my hair and i'm gon na um straighten it And i don't know how to break to the scalp. So that's another thing i like about curly hair. Is you know if my hair isn't super flat underneath you won't really be able to tell because curly hair has so much volume, so you're not really going to be able to tell if my braids ain't super flat but like if i had like a straight part, Wig or a straight wig, you know my hair would have to be flat underneath or it'll just be like a bunch of humps or whatever. So i'm not doing that so yeah y'all. I really like this wig um. I cannot wait to install it. It'S gon na be a process like i said, but i'm gon na show y'all everything, um and yeah. I can't wait. I'M gon na wash it i'm gon na. Let it sit so i am going to put this in a bucket with some fabric softener, i'm going to show you guys the fabric softener that i use. That'S my favorite one and i'm going to already get this ball rolling because i'm ready to install it. So right now i'm just getting the water ready and i usually always use hot water because i feel like it just helps to get the smell out, and this is the fabric softener. That i use is the downy, infusions, bliss and the scent is sparkling amber and rose, and i love this. I also use this on my clothes. It just has a really nice smell, so you can find this at target walmart, i'm sure it's on amazon too. So i put a cup full and then i'm also gon na do a half a cup and then i'm gon na get the excess out with water. So once the bucket is done filling up with the water, i'm going to go ahead and put the wig in the fabric softener with water, and i'm just going to make sure that it's all covered up and good to go. I'M just going to make sure that the water is soaking it up so that there's no dry spots, so whenever i'm done just making sure that the wig is completely covered in water, i am probably going to let this sit for about two hours. You can honestly let it sit more if you want to but y'all, i'm just so ready to install this wig, so i'm gon na let it sit for two hours max and whenever i'm done letting it sit, i will see you guys, then hey guys. So i am getting ready for um, i'm getting ready for a dinner right now. My friend is having a graduation dinner and i'm gon na put my you part wig on i started vlogging, which you guys just saw. I just i started vlogging, but i never like showed y'all me putting the wig on because that's when i started going through some things so tonight i'm actually going to wear the. U part wig. So i'm going to show you guys like how i install it and stuff like that, and i'm also going to put some press-on nails on. So let's get into it because it is it's 703 right now and i need to be there by 8, 45, so yeah. So this is how my hair looks right now. I straightened my hair a while ago, but i'm not gon na. Have it like this and i'm already like wearing the outfit i'ma wear it's just like a plain green dress. It'S nothing crazy! It'S comfortable! It'S cute um! So i'm gon na, let me see, let me get it now. I don't like do any measurements. Whenever i put you part wigs on, i really just kind of i just take. I do like this like it doesn't have to be perfect or anything. I just take it like that, and i just like part it into like a u-shape kind of like this and, like i said it doesn't have to be perfect or anything so and i washed um, i washed the wig this morning. So i'm gon na go ahead and install it so like this is. This is how much i'm gon na leave out. This is my real hair. This is how much i'm gon na leave out for the you, probably but the rest. I'M gon na, like um put away so i'm gon na break this three strands. Also, i like to leave like a large part of my edges out, because whenever i wear you probably i just feel like it makes it look natural. So i'm just brightening this up. Like this, to get it out the way, but like i'll, take like this side like this i'll leave this whole thing out and then i'm gon na just probably twist this instead of braid, because it's gon na take forever and then i do the same. For this side, so just and i don't have to do too much like this - is probably a lot like you don't have to leave this much out, but i just like to leave the front out so that it can look natural but y'all, and i don't know How to like, braid or whatever, so i'm really not going to be like i kind of just want to put my hair in a ponytail and going about my day, but i think i'm a try. I don't know if i should. I don't know if i should braid it or just put it in like a low ponytail, because it's curly so like it's just not super flat. It'S okay! That'S what i like about wearing like curly, wigs curly. You part wigs, because you know my hair don't have to be like super flat, so i don't know if i put it in like a super little ponytail, my head might start hurting. So let's see what i could do. Okay, this is what i'm gon na. Do. I'M gon na put it in a low ponytail and then yeah, i'm gon na put in a little ponytail like this, and then i think i'm gon na put the ponytail in like two braids and then like clip it up with some bobby pins. So and my ends, look so good y'all got my hands cut if y'all don't know like weeks ago cause my hands were so bad, but if you do know how to braid - and you can like braid like this back part like do that, but i don't know How to braid! So that's why i'm just going to do like two plaits back here got like a small rubber band and just put it on the end to make sure it stays. Because if i bobby pin it and like the bobby pin comes out, then my hair will come loose and i don't feel like dealing with that. So i'll do the same on this side, i'm so ready to put press-on nails on look at my nails, y'all. It'S ridiculous, i'm on a budget right now like i could go, get my nails done, but i'm on a budget, because christmas is in two weeks and i don't really have the money to be going, get my nails done. Just that's like a hundred dollars right there to get my nails and toes done now. I might go get my toes done, but my nails, if i could wear personal nails and i'm gon na just do that but yeah. So now i don't know exactly how i'm gon na like clip this back. I don't know if this is going to stay because, like some of the bobby pins are trying to come out, but if i knew how to braid it would be so much easier, but i don't about to get the wig and put on my head. This is the wig and i got this from amazon like i said before, y'all and i love this wig so much so i'm about to go ahead and put it on and show y'all now. The only thing with this wig is i'll, be having trouble with the clips, like the clips, be treating me like trash like they don't want to like go down like i don't know why, but they just don't okay, that one clipped hopefully, so i finally got that Side, clipped and now so now, i'm gon na take this out and i think i'm gon na do like one curls with this. This is like an old school like curling iron. I used this when i took my cosmetology test. I don't know if you guys know, but i'm like a licensed cosmetologist. I don't do anything with my license because i work full time and i'm in school full time. So it's like. I don't really have time to do extra stuff, but whenever i'm done with school, i might like do lashes or something like that. But this is what i'm gon na use to try to blend my hair with the wigs. So this is what it looks like so far. I have the clips in so let's just hope that i can get it together, so i'm gon na put this in. So i think i'm gon na start on like this section right here and i don't know how this is gon na work out, because when i did wear this wig before like a week ago, um i actually like braided my hair, like this at night and then Took it down, so i didn't use heat, but i didn't really have time to like do all that. So that's why i'm doing the wand but um. So i'm gon na see how this works, because i'm not gon na be like using this every single day like tonight before i go to bed, i'm gon na braid, my hair up, so that i don't have to keep doing this every day so like because i'm Not trying to like damage my hair or anything so like this is going to take all day. That might be too curly, but this, i think i'm gon na, like put behind my ear, though like this is good. Okay, so i don't know if y'all can tell, but i'm like super frustrated, because the wand curls it's not like blending well with the curly wig like i just knew like okay. This is this is not working. So i was like super super frustrated. Um. You see. I'M trying to blend it right now, but it literally just was not blending. So i had to come up with a different solution, so i decided that i'm just going to go ahead and pull this u-part wig into a ponytail. I am going to curl a few more pieces just so it could blend a little bit better and it's not completely straight but y'all. This was literally my only option because one i was not gon na wear my real hair and two. It just was not blending. So i had to figure something out. I still think that this style is really cute and i'm glad that i was able to get it in a ponytail successfully but yeah. It was just so frustrating for me so okay, so this is still the u-part wig y'all um. So i know y'all saw me like curling it or whatever, but honestly like. It looks better like this, because at night i'm just gon na have to like braid it and take it apart because it doesn't blend well whenever i use this with the curly like so tonight like because i'm gon na wear this wig tomorrow too. But tonight i'm gon na like braid it up and then take it apart in the morning so that it can blend better. So i think i'm just i have these little like side pieces out right now, so i think so. I think i'm gon na just try to like curl this, instead of like trying to curl the whole leave out. So i just put in a ponytail because i feel like it looks better like this, because i was not feeling it being down because it was like. So obvious my leave out was so obvious, so, like i'm gon na have like these sideburns out. If y'all can see it and i used, i use this edge control with edge fixture. It'S the best. I cannot use eco styler when my hair is like straight because they'll just completely curl up, because i still want my hair to be straight. I just i it's just it doesn't come out the same. You know like it doesn't come out the same i needed to be braided up, so this is how i just go to the dinner like this. Nothing too crazy see it's 7 35. So i have like an hour left, but yeah i just i literally couldn't so. This is what it looks like. I just pushed it back. I hope it looks okay, but this is how i'm going so i don't care, but let's see definitely i still think that this is cute. Like honestly, i never even thought about wearing like this hair in a ponytail like this, but it is cute, it's cute, so this is just time to wear my hair and i still have to put on these press on them. So i think that's what i'm about to do right now, i'm not gon na wear any makeup. The most i'll do is put like lip liner on with some um nyx this. So i think i'm gon na go ahead and do that right now. So i have my lip liner where's that mirror yeah. I have to use this mirror because it's so hard for me to tell like i don't use lip liner like that's, i'm gon na go ahead and put this lighter on. I cannot put lip liner on fast. I remember last time i used lip liner, i put too much and it was looking kind of weird, so i'm gon na just keep it simple and i'm gon na use this, but like putting a heavy amount of makeup on like i'm just not gon na. Do it, i love me, like a natural look and as long as i got my lashes done, my eyebrows done some lip gloss on. That'S really all i do for the most part, but i kind of want to do get into like i want to start wearing like more makeup, but i use like cheap makeup, so i don't know i might try to go. Try some new makeup and show you guys, maybe like next year, but this is kind of what i'm gon na look like, except i need to put my nails on so i'm gon na do that and show you guys: okay y'all. So this is the nails i got. I got these from the beauty supply store um. They were like all kind of different ones, but since like christmas is coming up, i wanted to do red, so i'm about to go ahead and open it, and these are long. So super excited now this one didn't come with a buffer and i found that whenever i buff my nail with the buffer like before putting press-ons on they last longer, but i don't have a buffer. I thought i did, but i don't so. I think i'm gon na just use some witch hazel instead to dry my nails out a little bit so hopefully that'll help it last since i don't have - or if i had like alcohol or something i would use alcohol just to get like all the oils off. So that it could last longer so my nails are dry and i'm about to just go ahead and start putting these nails on, because i don't have much time so. Okay, these nails are so cute, okay, so so, okay y'all, so i'm done getting ready. I got my nails, my press-on nails on y'all see this is my outfit. Oh y'all, i'm gon na drop my camera, i'm gon na drop my camera. This is what my outfit looks like. Oh my gosh, this camera is not letting me be great. This is what my outfit looks like i don't know. If y'all can see it, i got these cute heels on that i got from sheena so cute and i think y'all have seen this green dress before but yeah i'm gon na head out. I have i have my friend's card right here. It says delay all day and then it has that's just what you do congrats. So i'm gon na give that to her at the dinner and then i have like a 25 visa card where she can spend wherever so i'm about to go ahead.
