In this video, I show you how I applied and styled a upart wig from a Black owned hair company (Oh Grace Naturals). I did a twistout in order for the kinky curly hair to match my hair and it came out perfect!

Welcome back to my channel, it's ebony back with another video, and today i will be showing you how i achieve this look using a u-part wig. In my last video i talked a little bit about um the postpartum experience my postpartum experience the postpartum shedding i've been experiencing so today i will be showing you one way that i'm keeping my hair up during this stage. It seems that that's the only way you can kind of get through it. You can't really stop the postpartum shedding, so i'm just keeping my hair put up for a while in order to minimize it as much as possible. So here i'm just showing you how i am sectioning, my hair, i'm gon na have a little bit leave out at the top and on the sides, and the rest of my hair is going in braids. The wig i'll be using is from a company called. Oh grace naturals, it is a black owned company and they have different textures that mimic black women's hair. So if the texture i use today doesn't match yours, i'm sure she has another texture that will so i'm just putting my braids up as best. I can it'll work better if you use bobby pins, but here are my sections that i'm leaving out and, like i said my back is put up here - is the wig. This is the 4b texture, because i consider my hair to be 4b and i just washed it. So that's why it wasn't twist made it easier for me to get to all the hair that way. So this is what it looks like with nothing in it. Freshly washed - these are all the clips in the inside. I actually messed up one of the clips, so i plan on sewing that back or using hot glue or something simple fix. Um i've had it for a few months. I wore it in my baby shower and i've worn it a few other times as well, and i like to start at the top to clip it, and then i clip the back. So here's what it looks like on at first with no product at all um. It wouldn't match my texture as much as i would like it to, because the top of my hair has looser curls, which i didn't think about when ordering it. But i figured out a way to blend everything, which is what i'm doing next. So if you ever get some curly hair and it doesn't match your own curly hair, the way that you want it to this is a way that you can get it all to blend together. So i'm just sectioning my hair and then i'm taking that first section spraying it with water to make it easier to work with just like with my own hair and then i'm adding the the do most def texture foam working it through working it through and using The water helps to make that product stretch too, like. I didn't even need that much, and i realized that on the other sections, i've started using like one pump and it worked just fine, because my hair was already wet with the water. So i'm using the wide tooth comb to detangle and then i'm just twisting a smaller section of that section. All the way down and as you can see, i use my fingers to kind of twirl the end of the twist again, just twisting all the way down. Really simple and then make sure you twirl the end and i'm doing that all the way up in a minute, i'm going to show you how the curls look with the foam before twisting. I think i want to try wash and go with this wig with the phone, because the first time i tried it, i used gel and i think it was just too heavy for the hair. So i want to try it with foam, and here i'm showing you my leave out and how we're going to blend that with the hair spraying. My leave out with water basically doing the same thing that i did to the hair spraying it with water and then adding foam to it, working it through and now i'm starting the process of kind of mixing. My hair with the wig, like you, just want to try to like melt it all into each other. I'M saving a little bit of my side leave out for the top area and i'm grabbing some of the hair from the wig and putting it together with my hair combing it together separating it into two sections and just twisting you want to make sure your hair And the wig is all mixed together before you twist and then just twist all the way down, you're going to repeat that same process everywhere that you have leave out. So, for the other side and the top section, and as you can see it's already looking like it's my hair, you can't see the wig after that. You just want to let everything fully dry. Everything should be melted in together and then you're just going to take down your twist, and then you want to separate them as well, and i'm going to show you next what it looks like before i separate the twists versus after i separate them at this point. You can't really see where my hair starts or ends and that's what you want to happen, you're going to separate the twist and pick it and you're done. That'S it! That'S all! These are the final results here, i'm showing you where my hair is and where the wig is. As you can see, it's blended very well. You cannot see a thing at the top on the sides. Nowhere thank you so much for watching, and i will see you in my next video
