Beauty Supply Store Frontal Quick Weave

#quickweave

Hey you guys and welcome back to my channel today, i'm here with my niece darnisha or nisha, and i'm going to do her a frontal, quick weave, uh. Don'T ask me why she got this 20 inch hair. I told i was gon na cut it, but i didn't, but anyway we're just starting off with the ball cap method. I did not braid her hair, her mom braided, her hair. So that's why she has them big old, straight backs or kinda straight back, because sharon and nisha or crazy, so they just braided it really fat and ugly. So anyway, yeah i'm in the car recording. So if you hear some noise um, i'm sitting in the car doing the voice over so don't mind that, but anyway, i'm doing the ball cap method. I'Ve already um sprayed the got to be spray on her and i'm just cutting the excess cap off of her head and of the part that's already like stuck down and i'm just moving it back a little bit because i don't like frontals. That'S all the way down to the eyebrows like that, so i'm just cutting some of the extra um cap off and i'm just peeling it back. You see me using the back of the seals. It'S just the peel it back so anyway, i'm going in with the ruby kisses and i'm using that multi-color palette, the lighter palette that they have, and i just use all four of them on the end and mix it and make a skin color. You know make a like a light brown skin color. So that's what you see me doing right here and i'm just using a fluffy brush from elf to apply it, and it's just it's looking a lot like her skin color and you don't have to match it exactly. You want to get it as close to their own natural skin color as possible, but it doesn't have to be like extremely perfect. So i just use that and then here i'm going in with some alcohol, i'm going to take the excess stocking cap and i'm just going to put some alcohol on it and wipe around her forehead. So i can get the area clean of that concealer and any spray i sprayed on there so that the lace will adhere really really well so yeah, okay. So here i'm just using this same concealer that i used on her cap to put it on the back of this um lace and then that oh, i'm using my glue y'all, that's my glue. You can get it on the website. I'M gon na actually restock everything in about a week so be looking out for that, but um, i'm just using my own uh hairstyles by shaniqua lace, glue and i'm just using a little popsicle stick and i'm just applying. I'M gon na apply three layers. You'Re gon na see me apply only one layer on here, but you need to apply at least three layers of glue to um. You know the stocking cap or the front of the hairline or whatever, before you start, laying your lace down. So i'm just using this popsicle stick and i'm the first layer. I just go around the edge of the cap, just to make sure that it doesn't move and then i'll go and put a one inch thick band across and then this is the hair we just went to well, they went to jenny's and got jenny's brand hair And then the alley um frontal is supposed to be hd. It'S not hd, but it's a good beauty supply alternative, probably about thirty forty dollars for a frontal at the beauty supply and it's you know a really good alternative. So if you're looking for a frontal go to genies or any of these big beauty supplies in dallas, if you're in the dallas area or whatever area you need and just get one of those, because there ain't no lace unless you're going to pay. You know a lot of money for it, so, but anyway, i'm just laying the wig down, i'm just getting it laid down and y'all see that i already pre-cut the um frontal, because i like to do it that way, because it eliminates some of the excess lace That um, that that's still on the the lace, the frontal it eliminates some of that lace - that's left on the front so that you have to try to cover and hide. So i go ahead and cut it all the way back to the hairline to the actual hairline, and then i place it now. If you want to, you can like go in and measure it and cut it like that measure, where you want the like, sideburns and stuff to be and like the little baby hairs and then cut it like that. But i prefer cutting the lace first then laying it down, and then here i'm just going in with the blow dryer and yeah, i'm just going in with the blow dryer and i'm just making sure that the hair is all laid down. Now, when you do the front cut the lace off before you install the front tool, you're going to have some edges that don't get laid down. So you just want to take the end of like a middle red tail comb and put a little dab of glue on the back of your hand and then just um go in and apply a little bit just a thin, very, very thin layer of glue under The areas that did not, oh, my god, i'm sorry y'all, i'm outside i'm outside in the car but anyway just go and um apply a very, very thin layer under the area. Just pull the lace back and then put a little very little bit of glue and then spread it then so it'll dry quickly and um just put it under those parts that you can pull back that didn't get glued down. You can also just cut those parts off, but i think it's better to just go ahead and glue them down. So that's what i'm doing, and so i'm just pressing it in now and then i'm going in and i'm cutting the area, the ear tab area out and then um, i'm just making sure that everything is glued down. Now i like this better method better, because it's just more natural to me. I don't like all the extra lace laying across the forehead, even though you can camouflage it for the client while they're there, and even probably for a few days once it start getting old. You can really tell all the laces there and who wants to deal with it. So that's why i do it this way. I i used to do it the other way where you just cut the lace after, but this is my method currently so yeah, i'm just pouring out her cybers and i'm i'm gon na go through and part out her. The areas where she's gon na have baby hair so let's just be like two little swoops for baby hair on each side and then also a sideburn. So i'm just making a little curved section. I'M gon na do that two times on this side and two times on the other side, and i'm going to i'm not going to put any baby hair in the middle right there. So i'm going to just leave that free and once i get it tied down and stuff that white cast, you see, um from where the glue and like where i was like, laying trying to lay the lace down and i'll, let that will be gone and it's Just there, because i had manipulated that area, you know with the comb so once i um spray it again with the got to be free spray, that little white cast area will not be there so and i'm just pressing those baby hairs down, and then i'm going To go in with some got to be free spray and a couple of black. Well, i'm just going to use one black wrapping strip right now and lay the the just make sure that the laces you know laid down. It'S not going to be fully cured until tomorrow, but i just want to make sure that it's laid down and that is melting into the skin okay. So this is the back of the um of her head. I'M just going to sew it down. I store it in the middle always and i sew down each side every time. Y'All excuse those braids. My i don't know. Why am i supposed to put them big old braids? My niece hair is like extra extra thick. I told them to put enough braids in there so that it would be flat and they put four so anyway, when i got there, it was already braided and then y'all. This is a super huge no-no and we're not gon na do this anymore, but we was pressed for time whenever you're doing a quick weave. Please either use um some type of glue shield or paper wrappings or use like three caps or something so that um. You know you won't have any breakage on the hair from the glue, because we are doing a quick weave and then it's um, you know you just don't want to have any breakage. My knees, hair is like super super thick, just like mine, so i mean her. Hair will be all right this time, but um in the future. I would definitely use some type of glue, protectant or either like the wrapping paper or something under the cap. In order to make sure that there's no breakage, especially if your hair is thin, so that's the hair that jeannie's hair she got some 20-inch hair. I don't know what she was thinking about. I told her. I was going to cut it, but i went ahead on a little heavy. She is 15 years old, so i guess that's what the they wearing now she usually gets pretty short hair. We really don't get her any longer like that, but she went to beauty supply with her mom. So that's what they came at the store with, but i think she said they really didn't have a lot, so they got what they got or whatever, but i'm just go ahead and install it, but yeah i'm using the 30 second um um the 30 second glue And i'm just doubling the tracks, i'm putting two tracks at a time on there. Usually i don't do that either. I usually just go one track at a time and we're just gon na use two um two bundles and then i'm just going in with the blow dryer after each section, just to make sure that the glue is dry. Before i move on to the next one and then y'all up here at the top almost done applying the tracks, i just have a little space lift and you just want to keep tracking until you get right up against the frontal. You don't want to overlap them, but you want to get right up against um the frontal so that everything is seamless. And so i'm just going back in with the 30 second glue and i'm just going to put one single track across that back of the frontal lay it down. I'M gon na go in with the blow dryer and make sure that it is dry completely. And then here i'm just to go and take her hair down. I have braided it down on the side, so i can get it out of the way where i can sew and then also lay the tracks and that's how the front of the frontal is a 12 inch frontal. So that's what we use and then i'm going in with this fantasia um heat protective spray and i'm just spraying just a little bit over it, and also i'm going to run through this area that i had um plaid it up or braided up. I'M just going to run through it with the blow dryer just to get everything going back and then um. You know kind of straighten out some of those waves that i had put in there um from the braids. So that's what i'm doing now, i'm just using my denman brush in a blow dryer with the concentrated tip on there just to try to get you know everything straightened out. So that's what i'm doing there and also make sure that the edges is dry. So i'm going to now cut the um black wrapping strip out and if it's stuck just a little bit just be gentle and pull it up, because you don't want to pull the lace up, but y'all see how how much better that um lace looks. Now. Since we melted it down um and then here y'all, i hate this stuff, but i'm gon na use it until i run out of it see like it's taking forever. For me to run out of yeah. It seems like it's taking me forever to run out of this, but this is the character wax stick i mean it does what it does, but i really prefer the cheese bum, so i'm just putting some of that around the area behind the um behind where the Baby hairs are gon na, go because i'm just gon na run the pressing comb through them and also i'm combing those baby hairs out, because i don't know if y'all seen look like a little line or something while ago, but that was just from them being pressed Down by that black wrap, the hair is totally melted. So anyway, i'm just running that pressing comb through there and this frontal was already pre-plugged. When you get those type of frontal, you can always go back in and pluck some more, but i didn't. I just um left it the way it was because it was fine, and so you don't want to start plucking these cheaper frontals and then um. You know start the hair stores leaving faster than you wanted to, because these frontals will last you a while you just don't you got to take really good care of them. So yeah i just went through with the pressing comb pressed it out, and then here i'm just gon na go through with i'm gon na comb. The baby hairs out a little bit more make sure that nothing is hard or anything, and i'm just going in with the eyebrow orchard. I'M just cutting them about probably about half an inch half inch to an inch i'm trying. I don't really want them to be long, so i'm trying to cut them shorter and then i'm just going to cut the sideburn also. So that's what i'm doing there and i'm just going to go over here and comb those baby hairs out and then i'm going to just cut them exactly the same way i did on the other side, it looks like a line. You can see a line on there, but it's not a line, it's just from where that not looks like a line from the lace, but it's not a line from the laces just from where they was. The hair was laid down for with that black strip. So that's what you see, because the hair is, i mean this frontal is really good. It melted down. So it's a really good beauty supply frontal. Okay! So that's what the baby hair is going to look like and then i'm just going in with some eco style. Eco style and a edge brush, i like that edge brush that i'm using right there. It'S to me it has more control than all those other ones, and i'm just going to put a little bit of the eco style gel on all of the baby hairs and also get the hairs out of the way. That'S coming down that i'm not gon na use and then i'm gon na go in with a little bit of nairobi, and i y'all know i hate the nairobi, but it does make beautiful baby hairs. So i use it in conjunction with this um eco style gel. That way, it's not hard and you can still comb through the baby hairs once you get through um drying them or whatever, but you have a little bit more control if you use like the eco style gel and then it doesn't like flake up. So that's what what i'm using for the baby hair! So that's how the baby hairs look once i got them. I would opt out of using the guy to be free spray if you're, especially if you want to go through and comb them out and want them to be soft, because the free spray is going to make them a little bit harder. But i did use the free spray that time and then here i'm gon na use two of the black wrapping strips. You can use a satin, wrap or silk scarf or anything cut up a t-shirt whatever you have and then just tie those edges down. Let them stay tied down for like 15 minutes, the longer the better, because you know you want them to be laid. So i'm just going back through with the blow dryer and the comb and i'm just combing out that area, because some of it got wet with uh the nairobi in the eco style. So i'm just going through and combing those areas out and then i did spray a little bit more of the got to be free spray. And it's just to like hold the hair back and also make sure that the hair under there is getting a hold. But if you don't want them to be hard at all, opt out of the freeze break so yeah, i'm just going back in with the blow dryer in the comb and i'm just blow drying it and make sure that it's um dry. Everything is dry and set going back. You know she don't have a side part. I just want those sides to be going back because she has a 12 inch frontal also and the hair is like 18 and 20 inch. So you don't want it to be. Like you know hanging in her face, so you want i'm gon na. Do that, like kind of going back a little bit? Look, but anyway, i'm just trying to find a part because of these big old braids, so y'all gon na see a little lump on top of her head. It'S just from those braids. If she were to get like her hair curled, you would not see it, but it's so it'll be okay. It looks good i mean anyway, but it's going to be okay, so i just put a little part in there and i'm just going to run through those areas with the pressing comb and i'm just putting some more of that. Damn um carry care whack stick. I can't wait till i run out of this stuff. Okay, so i'm just going through now with the person coming, i'm just making sure everything is flat. I got those from ulta they're, pretty good, like they're, not professional flatterings, but they really uh get the hair straight or whatever you're trying to do. You can even do curls with this one. I have the two inch. One too. I think it's two inches and it's pretty good, especially for at home use, so i'm just going through and i'm just straightening the hair out just a little bit because it's already pretty straight anyway, because the hair was straight and then i'm just coming on this side. I just left a little mark on her i'm trying to go on there and um straighten that little piece out and then i'm just still making sure that part area is laying flat and then i'll go through and put a little tease right there about it. Um, where that braid is this big, just to kind of like even that area out, but if she was getting curls um that wouldn't be a problem but like for flat straightening styles, you really want to make sure that the hair is flat really for this quickly. She could have just slicked it back so anyway, i'm just taking the wrapping strip off and i could have waited a little bit longer to take it out. But the baby hair still turned out really really cute and i'm just going to go in with some alcohol and clean any up like if it's any white whiteness around the baby hair. Usually, that's what happens when you um put that eco styler gel on there it'll get a little bit of white just around the edges of the baby here, but not um. Inside of the you know, inside of the baby hair, so i just went in with the alcohol and then i just went in with the um edge brush and just softened the baby hair out a little bit. So they look really cute to me. I think, and then i'm going back in with that same powder that i use, but i'm just going to use a like a angle brush like a little detail brush and just kind of like go in in any areas that need to um need. Just like a little bit of filling with the concealer, i'm doing that and then i'm gon na do the part. Also. So that's what i'm doing right here and i'm just using the lighter palette because they have two palettes. I think it might be more than that, but i have two of them and i'm using the lighter one i probably need to see which number it is and then i'm using like a medium looking color in there and then here i'm just brushing it out making Sure all the hairs are going in the same direction and i spray just a little bit of oil sheen on there that olive oil, it smells so good, and then here i'm going to take this same brush again, i'm just going to go through the part and Just kind of detail the part just to like open it up just a little bit. You can also pluck it and get the same effect, but who want to do that when you don't have to do that and then i'm just going in with a little bit of black spray. Don'T use that blue can use the high beams, but that won't work for the time they didn't have high beams at the beauty supply. When i went so, i had to get that old school blue one, but it's fine. It worked. I just had to go and clean off uh her forehead, because a little of the black did spray on to the forehead so yeah, but anyway y'all. This is the finished. Look.
