From Locs To Quick Weave In 5 Minutes!

Hello, hello, hello, lock family if you're new to my channel, welcome if you're not welcome back, welcome back, welcome back welcome back my lock kings, lock, queens mocha, mommies mocazetti smoker gang. What'S up y'all um, it's been a few days months, maybe qriket um! I am about a month i mean one year and one month um into my loc journey, and this is where i'm at. I do need to do an updated length check video for you guys um with the shirts that i purchased, but i will do that just to show you where the lens is at lots of growth over the last year that i'm excited about, watching them, transform and Mature um, but today i want to try something a little new, well new and old um. Before my life journey started. I used to always love me, a quick weave by eltre and the name is amber. It was my favorite um, i'm gon na stop for a thumbnail, real quick. So i am going to go from this to this. Well, i'm not gon na look like her, but i'm um trying to lay my locks down and then put on this quick weave and i'm taking you guys with me so that we can see how this goes. I have not done any weaves or wigs over my locs. I do have a wedding coming up that i'm in um and she wants us all, i'm about to stuck my edges down. She wants us all in um, long ponytails, and i knew this before i started. Even started my lock journey and she even said: oh, i see that she started locks if you just want to wear your locks in a ponytail. That'S fine, but i'm like no. No, i'm gon na look like everybody else, so that will be my first time getting like a weave weave like a a sew in like lace. Lay it down weave with my locks, um and that's coming up in. May. I'M definitely going to take you guys along with me for that, but for today i just i don't know. I just felt like doing something different i felt like you know. I still love my locs of course, but i just wanted a different look today um. So i ordered one of my good good old, faithful outrage, wigs um off amazon, but you can get it at any beauty, supply store or anything like that. I'Ll put the description below of the amazon link. I just wanted to lay my edges down really quick. I know they look a little crazy, but if you have been watching my videos, you know that i am not the best with baby hairs. So that's that, but this um australia, quick weave um, is called amber. Like i said, that's the style name and i got it in a color 1b. I got it in 1b. 1B is my usual go-to. So before i do that, i'm going to part my locks into three and i don't know how to cornrow, but i'm going to try to, or maybe i should just do two. I should just do two: i'm going to try to find a way to lay them down as flat as i possibly possibly can it? Might it's not gon na be a cornrow per se because, like i said, i don't know how to cornrow i'd be faking. It so i'm gon na go ahead and just try to like fake cornrow. It looks like a fake cornrow, i'm literally just grabbing pieces. So if you do know how to really cornrow, i guess that's what you could do to try to get it to lay down. As flat as possible - but i don't know how to so - this is as good as it's gon na get it's flat enough, just put a little tsugani on the end. So that's what that looks like, like. I said it's, it's not really. I don't know how to cornrow, i just oh. This should have been on this side, trial and error. I don't really know how to corral, so i'm gon na go do the same to this side, just try to find three pieces and then just start winging it. I do know how to braid like i know how to regular braid. I just don't know how to curl and i feel like. Even if i didn't know how to coral, i wouldn't know how to do it on myself, the greatest so again, this is me just winging it if you know how to cornrow, yours will probably look better and flatter than what i just did. Okay, so yep just try to lay them down flat. I am going to take my two to um. I shouldn't wear this sweatshirt. I am going to take my two things and connect them so that i can tuck them in the back of my quick weave. Okay, so i have taken my amber outre, half wig out of the pack just going to cut off the tags and i'll show you guys what the inside of the wig looks like um. So just i'm shaking her out a little bit. The inside looks like this. It has a comb in the front and a comb in the back and then in the back of the wig. Are the latches where you can make the wig um tighter or looser? But you know you want to secure your wig. So if you have a smaller head like me, i have to move both of the latches towards the middle, to secure it and make it really really tight, because i don't want my wig to fall off or get snatched off some things in my eye: okay, um! So now you just put the front comb into your hair. I like to put mine towards the side, because i like to have um some hair coming in my face on one side, you see what i did here. I just put it on and like i like, to put some here to one side and i kind of take some of the hair from the wig itself and tuck it under to hide the brim of the wig um. I apologize for not having my full head in the camera and on the side. That'S out you want to make sure you pull a little bit of your own here. In my situation, i have locked so i'm pulling my new growth out from under the brim. A little bit, that's what i did with the comb and then i slick it down with the edge control over the brim on that side. So it gives it a little bit more of a natural look um and then you just kind of shake it out and place the hairs where you want it again. Like i said i want some over to the side. Some people wear it all back, but i like that side. Look i like to have some here in my face um, but that's it. It'S literally a quick weave comb in the front comb in the back and boom comb over some um hair in the front, with some edge control and there you go and here's the finished product i zoomed in on this, so that you can see - and i love It, and that is how i went from a locks to a quick weave in five minutes um.
