Hi everyone welcome back to my youtube channel in today's video. I do have another wig review for you all this time. It is another wig from maura mode which i'm so excited about. I always love reviewing more and more wigs. They are amazing. So if you want to see the wig make sure you keep watching, so let's get right into it. This is going to be a full unboxing and sort of just like literally from what you'll get. Basically, i haven't seen the wig myself, so it's a full first impression as well, and so let's just get on with it. This wig is called geneva and she did already have a wig out. That was this sort of style color, however, they've improved the color on it, so it is the new and improved geneva, and so let me just show you so this is the little dust bag that comes in these are really handy, because it means you can store Them in these as well and it'll, keep the wig safe protected, and then you can like hang it up like this. If you want to so i'll always love when they come in little dust bags, satin ones or even this, it's kind of like a nice velvety material. So anything soft like that is just gon na keep your wig, nice and safe inside inside you all your wig. Also comes in a little hair net, great again for protection, another little bit that the wig comes with is a little bit of stuffing inside the wig just to help keep it shape for when it arrives to you, i'm already obsessed with this can't believe it. Oh look at that. I love this color. I absolutely love like a brown color with bits of blonde in that is just i feel, like my spirit, animal, and always this hairline, i will always say: maura mode - has one of the best hairline shapes that i've found. It'S really made us fall in love with, like the shaping of the hairline. If that makes sense, you'll see what i mean when i put it on i'll point it out to use all, and but just the hairline shape it's just so good, it's just so natural. So let me give you all of these wig deals first, so this wig is from the invisible range and she does also have a modesty range, which is a blended human, hair and synthetic. However, this is 100 human hair. It'S from the invisible range meaning that hairline and the lace is super invisible. It is a 13 by 6 inches lace, front wig, so you do have lace all around the front section and enough to part it. So this is all lace front, so that hairline is super realistic with all of that lace and you've obviously got this lace pattern here. So all of this part can be parted, so you get it like. Looking really super realistic with lace front, it means the back part. Here is just kind of like a material wefted and, however, you don't sort of notice this much and you can always still style these as well. I know a lot of people are looking sort of to go for full lace. However, lace fronts really aren't that limited and our lace fronts all of the time, and you can wear lace fronts down in low ponytails. You can actually wear it in a high ponytail, but you just have to make sure you like adjust the back just a little bit just so you don't see this material part here. I can't actually show you a day how i would do that as well. In this video, just so you know which styles you can't go for with it inside. You can also get an adjustable band, which i have showed in my previous videos, so feel free to pop that in and it is adjustable, it's got little silicone sections on as well, so super super handy and secure. So this is the band that you can get to go inside it like i said it's adjustable, you can take it in and out i'd always recommend taking it out when you're washing it and then there's the silicone part, nice and handy if you need to ever Secure your wig a little bit more so the rest of the wig details is you can wear this glueless, so you don't have to wear any glue at all i'll show you as well how you can wear a glueless. I always glue my wigs or just for that little bit of extra security. Well, these always help. If you do want to wear a glue list, it just gives you that extra security and just means it's not going to go anywhere without any glue. Okay, so i do want to point out as well on more wood site. You do get a choice of the hair length, whether you want baby hairs or not skin tone, cap type, cap, size, custom, hair thickness and hair texture. So you get that choice for all of them bear in mind. Not all of them might be in stock when you go to use them. However, those are all options. I think they're great options as well. I have on this site just so you can customize each wig to your own and this one specifically that i've got on today, just for reference. It'S 20 inches long. So it's nice and long super long and it's 150 density, which i would say it's going to work quite well. It'S going to feel like kind of light to medium in terms of density. It is a loose wave texture and it's 100 human hair and natural customized hairline. My favorite types of hair cap types would be lace, front and full lace. Yes, at the moment, i do mainly just go for lace front wigs. I just think they just work really. Well, i do also love full lace wigs, but the marker for those at the minute is very, very tight, but anyways i'm going to pop this wig on my head just to show you all see what it looks like and this is without any glue. I haven't done anything to it so straight out of the box. I believe this is a medium cap. It fits really nicely actually i've just adjusted the straps on the back. Oh my gosh. I absolutely love this. I love the front of this as well got some like a little shorter sections. Here again, you don't have to have a cut like that. If you did want to customize anything like that, you can always just dm them just to make sure. But, oh my gosh, this color, okay. I think this is my new favorite color wow. Oh my gosh right. I love this. You know i always go back and forth with right. What would be my if i had hair? Basically what hair color would i want? What would i choose and i always like debate every time i get a new wig, i'm like okay. What would i choose? What would i have? I think this could be my next favorite just the color. It feels so lightweight as well, which i really really like, and i just think it's got a lot of like movement and texture in it, and the colors just help like emphasize that movement and texture, i'm gon na have to restyle it a little bit. I think just because those waves have dropped out a little bit, but i can get that done no problem. Let me show you it a little bit further back just so you can see sort of how long it is as well. So that is the wig. Oh, my gosh, isn't it beautiful look at those colors as well, it's sort of got like darker parts underneath, like these parts, look really dark and then it's got like a lighter brown and then like bits of blonde running through it all throughout and obviously the face Framing absolutely love face framing, i think if you want to go for something like quite natural go for a nice like light face framing this one like just go for this one, and let me zoom these back in just so. You can see the hairline. I absolutely like dye over there and look at this look at that. Are you seeing this? What wig, please tell me, tell me please what wig? Okay, i'm in love with this wig. I am fully in love right, okay, you know when i said the hair, the hairline shape. You'Ll see it more whenever you could cut the lace, but this how it like graduates back a little bit and it just follows a natural hairline shape, and it just makes it look so so natural. So that is another thing. I absolutely love about this. The coloring, though, remember this one's called geneva, so what i'm going to do next is i'm going to get that lace cut, i'm going to do a few little videos and demos for instagram, and basically what i'm going to do is cut the lace off. I'M actually going to cut because i don't usually cut the lace when i'm doing reviews like this, i don't usually cut the lace on camera and, however, what i want to do is because i get a lot of questions on how do i cut the lace? How do i cut it around my ears as well? I said i'll cut. The lace with yours now just explain that i won't install it on camera. I'M just going to show you how to get it as a glueless option, then i'll glue it down off camera, and i'm just going to show you a few styles with it. I will style it off camera as well for instagram, okay. So we're ready to get this hairline cut. All i've done up to now is i've obviously got it on my head and i've just cut directly up in your stop. Just before that hairline starts, then what you're going to do is you're just going to start cutting it in a zigzag sort of motion. It'S just like this. Creating it in a zigzag motion just means that you don't have an obvious hairline to spot and say that's where the hairline is so the more messy and sort of zigzag and jagged. It is the better it's going to be it disguises that lace and you're just not going to be able to spot it. You don't want to cut any of the hairs out if you can help it just get as close as you can. Don'T worry if you do get any of the hairs caught, it's gon na happen so might find it easier doing it off your head. But for the purposes of this video, it's just easier to show you on my head. Okay - and i literally just do that - to get that lace cut off and i'm just going to cut it all the way follow that hairline all the way until it's okay, now we're going to go on to cutting around the ear so easiest way to explain it Is literally just drawing a line like that right in front of your ear, and then you separate the hair, this section, the top section pop away and then you're just going to cut up that line. You'Ve just separated just like that, and then it gives you like. A division here so that's what you've created and then i kind of cut on the inside but kind of like put my scissors, so i'm not cutting any of the hair here. This is kind of why i use this technique, but a little little scissors will work. Really well with this: if you've got big scissors, it's probably not going to work as well, and then you're going to get this big clump of hair. That comes out. Don'T worry about it. Everyone'S really scared about cutting bits out of the wigs, and i can understand why, because if you cut too much, it's not going to grow back but don't be scared. You lit you need to get comfortable around your ears and if you use that technique, then you will so that's just a little taster of how to do it. I am also offering lessons if you do want to learn a little bit more in depth. How to do things? Please do just message me. I am doing lessons so feel free to get in touch there. We go. That'S exactly how i cut around my ears. That'S all of the layers cut now, so i'm gon na install and style off camera and then i'll pop on later, just to show you how to style it in an updo okay. So, ladies and gentlemen, can we just take a moment for geneva? This is one of my new favorite wigs. I have a lot of wigs and this is one of my favorites just this density just works so well with this lens and everything. Oh, my gosh, i'm in love. Let'S look at the colors curls, always look insane with these kind of colors. If you've got like multi-dimensions get you some curls in and life is complete, but yeah absolutely insane just flows so nicely as well right. This is the hairline as well. That'S all glued down. I used the mode fix glue from moro mode as well. One of my new favorite, so i'll probably see this glue is literally like one of the one of the stronger glues. However, i find it's not as damaging as the other stronger glue. So what puts me off with the stronger glues is that when you try and take them off it like rips the lace and it's just stuck in the lace, it's just so hard to get off. However, i just use some isopropanol with this glue and it brings it off really good and you only need like a thin layer as well, and it gives you a really nice strong hold. So i would definitely recommend to try again always be careful with glues as well, just when you're removing them just so you don't ruin that lace, but if you didn't want to wear glue, don't worry just make sure you've got it nice and tight inside. You can wear that elastic band as well to tighten it, and i would just recommend either putting two bits of tape either side or, if you're wearing it down. You don't need anything because it's going to cover the side part. However, if you are tying it up or anything like that, i would recommend to to glue it down, but a few styles, you can do with the lace front just quickly, while i'm here, i'm not going to do anything sort of extravagant i'm just going to quickly Sort of show, so you can do a half up half down, remember wherever there is lace, you can part it. So you can do like this is one of my favorite styles to do all of the time only you can put this half a puff down into a bun, or you can do like two pigtails like that, and you can add a little bit of your literally One of my favorite go-to styles always do this style. You can have that ponytail a little bit lower as well. I'M just going to show you guys how i would do like a ponytail or another one. I like to do it's like a slick bun, so just scrape all of the hair back like any sort of slick, bun or anything like that. I will just pull two little front parts. These side burn parts forward and then you can either do a normal ponytail. Like that, so you can always do a low one, but just make sure you kind of like pull the button down like that, get it into a bun and just use a little bobby pin to secure that. How cute that looks. So you can always wear it where it's like out of your face but, like i said, just always sort of pull the bottom section out and then. Finally, if you want to try for a little bit of a higher ponytail, i'd always recommend dipping your head forward. First, so, as you'll probably see, this part is like pulling up, but that's fine, just just get all of your hair like in the direction you need it for that ponytail. This is why i've got my there we go, but this is what it looks like, as you can see like the back, you can see that bit pulled up, so the weight is start like pull the back down. Remember if it's lace front, it's just going to have to be a loose ponytail, just except you're, never going to get it super flat. And then what you want to do is just slide that bobby pin in and just lay it flat to your head again. Just pull little sections down, you can start to see it's going to start to look a little bit more realistic. So, like i said you can wear it up, but you just have to be a bit cleverer with the back and just disguise it a little bit by pulling some hair down and remember. It'S never going to be a super tight ponytail, but you can definitely still get getting up so there we go and again, as always, i love pulling these from sections forward and there we go so that is the geneva wig, absolutely adore it. It'S so so nice, the coloring on this one compared to the charlie wig, is definitely definitely different. So a lot more darker tones in this one, especially on the bottom section and and also, i would say, charlie, has a lot more like it's more of an ombre and has like ombre blonde, whereas this isn't yeah as always, absolutely love more mood. Let me know what you think of this wig. If you found it useful, let me know, but let me know if you do have any questions as well i'll, be happy to answer them and make sure to join me in my next video if you did enjoy. I would love if you would like comment and subscribe to my channel as always and i'll see you all in my next video
