How I Install My Lace Closure

Was that already hey guys, so today, I'm gon na be showing you how I apply my wig. This is a you part with a lace closure attached using the elastic band method. So I have a lace closure right here and then the rest is a au part and I use a dome cap and I did the flip over method. So none of my webs are cut at all, except for over here, where I actually have to bring it in closer, because if you continue doing a flip over method, it will start to get bumpy. So I'm going to show you how I apply my weight and how I blend my lace closure. So this is what the hair looks like and I put some wrong curls in it, and then I use my flexi rod to preserve the curls. So I don't have to use heat all the time, so, let's get into applying the wig and put on the closure. So for this you're going to need three products, you need some gel, I'm actually going to be using an eco, styler gel and I'm going to be using the Hicks edge control in my bore brush. So hey you guys um this load. My hair looks like so what I do is I braid my hair and I break it down with some cornrows and then after i braid it down in some cornrows. What I do is I leave some hair out. This is all over Devo. I leave it out. Just in case um in case I might need a lip some out and blend it in, but most of the time I don't really have to leave any out, but I just do it just in case. So, let's get into my edges and sleep that down and then put my cap on and then apply the wing. So this is what my edges look like. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to apply some hIG's edge control and I'm going to use that first as my base - and I use that because it's going to really slip my edges down - and I am three months post relaxer. So you can see some waves going on, so I put this down first and then I will put down some eco styler gel, because this one will actually dry a little bit harder, so it will be easier for it to stay down because some of these edge Controls will stay down for a little bit, but then they will actually like lift up and become more like a conditioning gel. So I just know smooth that down apply a little bit not too much, and then I just brush my ear back. Make sure you just push down your edges since some of my hair started to like wave up. So that's what I do so once I do that I'm gon na grab my stocking cap. I should get a new one soon, but um it doesn't matter a new one is preferable so that when you put on your wig, the lace can show like a nude scalp. So I just put this under my head, and this is just to help the rest of my hair in the back to be net. So I burn this back just a little bit just like so then you're going to need a powder, and this is a brown powder that I'm going to use just to start off my scalp. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to. I know that my braids it goes this way and this way so that my part can be flat right there. So I'm going to take this wing, bring it right where my scalp needs Rindy, lastik behind and then brandy Dom count behind pull out my ear. So everything could just lie flat. So then what I do is basically the see how flat is lying and then my edges are already like down on the side and I pull it forward and it's already down. So what you can do is you can take a little bit of this out, pull them out and then have them flow over. So when the wind blows, you won't have any issues, but right now, I'm just gon na. Have it like come forward, then I'm going to move this to the side so that you could be on a slant as you guys can see like. So then, I'm going to grab some of my powder and a brush and just put it down there like so and just add a little bit right here, so that it can conceal some of the hairs that I have and just blend with my fingers. Just to Pat it down a little bit and I did tweeze my part just a little bit, not too much the first time. I tweeze it too much with my other wig. So I just applied some black shadow right here to help that out, but I suggest you just go slowly and then blend, and this is a contour powder. So it's really going to create shadow and just blend by your edges and there you go, and that is how - and that is how I create my lace - closure to been really nice and flat and scalp like so I'm going to zoom out. Let me show you so, as you guys can see, that's what my hair looks like the telescope looks very easy and blend in you can look to the side. You see.
