Hello beauties its menu girl, tequila and welcome to making you pretty, and today's tutorial I'm going to demonstrate to you girls how to make your lace closures, look a lot more natural at the base. Okay beauties now, let's get started. These are things that you guys are gon na need. First off you're gon na need your flesh tone weight Kat. Secondly, you're gon na need your your lace glue, I'm actually using the no mess and you little brush running a pair of scissors and you're gon na need a white sheet of paper first off. What you would need to do is hopefully for one that your lace closures, that your user are gon na have like like a pu base, which is like a plastic base. That actually goes around your your the edge of your lace closure, but if it doesn't have it it doesn't really matter. You know it just makes it a lot easier just so you can actually trace out your your your stocking cap when you're actually gon na apply to this. So what you need to do is get your lace closure and you lay it flat and we're actually using the white piece of paper that way, it just makes it a lot easier for you to actually see what you're doing so then, what you're gon na do You'Re gon na open up your your stocking cap paper and take out one of your stocking caps like this. Next, what you're going to do you're going to cut along the side scene about the actual stocking cap and just make sure that you're cutting like a straight line so you're not watching up your wig cap? You want to cut both sides and it's actually better to kind of keep it folded on the sides like this. Just so, you can see better scores now, depending on the actual size of your closure would determine which angle you were actually placed is because the length closure that I'm actually using is a it's a three by three. It'S three inches its way and three inches back. So you can actually turn this to the side. This way so wait. You know this disa be enough room for it to actually to fit. But if you have a closure, that's actually larger than this, then what you would do is you will only you know, bus one one side instead of both sides. So if you have like say like a four by five or five by five, then you would of course you know just bust one one side of it open and then you just lay it just so to make sure that that you're, actually at least covering the Majority of the front half of your arm lace closure. So next, once you determine your actual measurements of your stocking cap, you want to measure it out and make sure that you're getting it to actually to fit along, at least like the hairline. This is good, and you know, even if you don't actually cover the entire lace, your lace closure is actually fine cuz, you just want just like mainly just the whole front, half of it. So that's what you would do is they'll open up here your glue, and then you just want to write about evenly along a little PU around the base up here. Make sure that if you actually kind of work kind of fast, you can actually coat it. Just a little thick because you actually want it, the your stocking cap and the glue to kind of adhere very well if you use just just a little thin cold, is not going to saturate the stocking cap. So so you want to do it thick enough to where it actually century actually, once you've done the base, you can actually just apply just a little bit along the hairline. You don't want to put it directly at the hairline, because when you go to glue down your actual lace wig, you don't want it to be extremely to thinking too sticky, so just a little bit behind it. So now, once you've actually gotten out of place, then you want to go back and you want to get your stocking cap. You want to stretch it just a little bit and make sure that you actually line up with the action hairline. You don't want to go. Rep at the hairline, but just a smudge behind it, and once you place it on to where you want it to go, then you would just start firmly pressing the stocking cap. Just along the theme of where you actually place your glue, you should actually press it down very well sticking, and you guys don't want to do this, maybe like a day before you actually want to put your closure on just to make sure that that the glue Has dried completely because if you don't let it glue, I mean let it dry completely. It'S gon na come loose so now, actually, once you've actually finished pressing it all together, then what you can do is go back and cut off all your excess stocking cap from around the edge. This is why I actually like I should PU plastic around the edge of it cuz. It just makes it a whole lot easier to cut it off and you so you can actually see what you're doing actually make it a lot neater versus. If you don't have them voila there you go. So what we've done is created a more natural base to your lace closure. So actually, if you see I'm going to part this just so you guys can get a better look. You a one thing. This actually look like hey beauties. Stephanie Carr: Awesome girl! The easiest method I've seen so far! and with materials that are easy to find! lol...I was up in a home improvement store looking for some other materials that another vid suggested (face palm) This I can do!

Seyi Odunuga: Hi, this is a very good video. I have two questions and will really appreciate it if you can answer them. 1. Is it possible to sew the stocking cap on instead of using glue? 2. I saw your other video on bleaching knots to obtain a realistic parting. Is this a secound method or you can do both. Do you have to do both or can you do one or the other? Many thanks and keep up the good work.

Shawna Dior: This helped me out alot cause I just bought a partless lace closure and didnt know how I was gonna install it

Plumdrop2: Can you use a coffee color knee hi instead of the nude wig cap?

beautylight hair: Nice work thanks for sharing

M.I.A: Where did you get this closure?

Loretta Tay!or: Did you glue the wefts on the lace yourself?

wykellalatrice: would you suggest getting a transparent lace closure and using the stocking cap or getting a colored one and bleaching? or do u also have to bleach the transparent one?

Tequila Fletcher: To answer your questions. YES you can do both ! bleaching. And glueing or sewing the stocking cap to the base of the closure. Bleaching the knots makes the base of the closure look more natural as if the hair is growing from your scalp. And adding nude stocking helps to make your scaple appear and stick out a lot more once you put the closure on. I actually do them both ..you dont have to do both . But I do reccommend you at least bleach your closure .

carlota confusao: tequila hi from brasil amazing your work thanks.

Shirl Henry: It would have been better if you'd bleached or faux bleached the knots before applying the stocking. That step would make it look more natural. Now the dots are more pronounced.

Tequila Fletcher:  @maria fofana ..its called NO MESS...which is a glue what you would use to glue the edges of a lace wig or closure.

Karah Robertson: s it possible to sew the stocking cap on instead of using glue?

mariam fofana: what kind of glue did you use

Cali Heaven: can you o another on with a full lace wig?

Tequila Fletcher: @ladibrezzyfyi..I'm not clear of your question. Are you asking me Can it be applied to a Lace Wig?

Tequila Fletcher: Hello princess.. a flesh tone wig cap willl be ok to use. I use them all the time ....and Thanks for viewing. . If you have any more questions please dont hesitate to contract me. Tequila@tequilafletcher. Com
