Hey guys welcome back to my channel welcome if you're new here, if you are my name, is jane monet. Thank you so much for tuning in so today we're getting into this kinky curly ombre moment um. This hair is from hercuben hair and i just want to throw out that i've worked with this company multiple times in the past prior to working with them. I bought their products with my own money, so 100 stand by their products. I know people tend to point out the fact that they are on the more pricier side. I can say from experience that when you're, if you're looking into buying textured hair, it's more important than ever trust me more important than any other hair texture to invest in quality. It'S definitely worth the investment to purchase hair that is gon na last. You a long time that's not gon na matte and tangle up on you in the middle of the day. That'S not gon na shed too much. I just think it's imperative for textured hair. If that's what you're looking into buying so this particular unit is the wig. Is called embrace my coily wig life, and so the hair texture is coily, which is meant to mimic 3c to 4a hair and they have a bunch of other hair textures on their website that you can check out. If you want a looser or tighter curl pattern, and this wig is the it's a lace front, wig 13 by 6 inches deep, deep parting area. So that's why i'm able to get this really deep side. Part right here! I think the key to making a wig look natural is having a deep heart because it'll lay flatter up here. So i love that the hair length is 18 inches and the cap size is small, just some other specs. It came pre-plugged, so i barely plucked it when i say i plucked it just a little bit just to match my natural hairline and the lace you guys, i'm not even i'm, literally, not even joking. I'Ve never had lace melt like this has melted on my scalp and, of course, all of their hair is 100 virgin human hair. I mean this hair technically isn't virgin just because it does come. Pre-Dyed like this, but their hair is 100 human hair. So this is the box that it comes in, and i think that her given hair just has probably the best packaging that i've ever come across. The box is just really good quality and it's really good for storage. So the box comes with a satin hair bag, which is also really good for storage, a wig instruction booklet which basically just has styling tips, customization tips how to dye the hair. If you wanted to dye it product suggestions, all that jazz also, it came with some extra combs. If your wig isn't secure enough, i didn't have that problem. I actually didn't even really use the combs, because i did end up gluing it down the front. It also comes with two wig caps, i'm wearing one right now. This is the other one. Okay, so now that i've sort of given you guys the full rundown on this hair, then i'm just gon na jump right into the tutorial just a disclaimer. This is the first time i've ever done. A hair tutorial without using the bathroom mirror so bear with me, i'm i'm definitely. It was a little bit challenging um at times, just to make sure that everything looked good but um. I think that it turned out really cute. I did have to go off camera a couple times just to perfect it, but i think it looked really cute. So, let's just jump right into the video, so i wanted to show you guys what the hair looked like completely dry. I did co-wash it and put product on it and let it dry overnight. So i'm just starting off using some alcohol on my hairline and this just really helps with the adhesive. Now i'm attempting to do the bald cap method, but i'm not that much of an expert on it. So you can follow along. But if you want more in-depth tutorial on this process, then i would suggest doing a little. You know quick youtube search on how to do it. I tried my best you guys, oh so now, i'm just adding some powder to my wig cap just to make it look a little bit more scalp like because, as you can see, my hair is sort of poking through a little bit. You can sort of kind of dark, so i just wanted to lighten it up and make it look more scalp-like. This is the construction of the wig, it does come with two combs on the side and then one on the bottom, and then it also comes with an elastic band. So now i'm just fitting the wig on my head just sort of trying to make sure that everything looks good. I decided to cut little tabs into the lace so that i can do it in three different sections. It'S just easier that way to secure the adhesive in parts. I just did one layer, but if you want it to last longer, i believe up to two weeks, then you can do up to three layers. I believe so now, i'm just using my comb to sort of press it into place and i'm just going to repeat that same process for the other two sections. So so i went off camera to cut my lace because i could not do it with that tiny mirror that i had on my table. This is what it looks like. I think it looks so good and it's i'm not even done yet. I'M just sort of trying to play around with it and see how i want to style it, but it looks so natural. So far, so now, i'm just taking out some little pieces along the hairline to cut for baby hairs, and i know some people aren't crazy about adding baby hairs to your wigs. But i mean as a personal preference. I think that with curly units it looks more natural with baby hair, but to each his own. Obviously you don't have to do this step and it looks just as good as is, but i just wanted to do this as an added step. Once i got everything into place, i wanted to add some more got to be spray, just to add a little bit more of a hold, and i used my scarf just to lay everything down super flat and in the meantime i just decided to pick out my Curls, just for a fluffier look and i'm gon na just let this sit for about 10 minutes and i'll come back on camera for the final result. So this is pretty much the finished look. I actually went in and did my edges off camera, and i also shaped it a little bit. It was a little bit longer up top, and so i wanted to give it. You know subtle layers just to make it look a little bit more natural and um. What else did i do? Oh, i also just put in these bobby pins, took this and put it like that, just to give the hair a little bit more of a lift and sort of get it out of my face, and i think it just came out really really cute. I was really nervous because i've literally never had a kinky curly wig before and i didn't know how i was gon na look. I didn't know if it was gon na look natural, but it came out so freaking cute, like i'm in love with this so yeah. I really hope that you guys enjoyed this video. I think that you know, if you have your eye on this unit, just go ahead and buy it because um this is, it's exceeded my expectations like so much i was nervous. I was i i didn't know how how if i was going to be able to pull it off and i'm not an expert at doing wigs, okay, but this the fact that the lace is so transparent. It just makes it so hard to mess it up. Like you almost can't go wrong with it, i'm not even just saying that, like i was so nervous doing this away. From my you know, big bathroom mirror, but as i was doing it, i'm like wait a minute like it looks kind of good and then i looked in the mirror and i was like wait. No, it actually looks fire. You cannot see the lace like you literally can't see the lace. The only thing that i'll say is that i did bleach the knot. That'S literally the only thing that i had to do to customize it besides little tweaking here and there. This unit is honestly just gorgeous another thing: is they do the color? So well, it's not like abrupt it's a really beautiful ombre and it just looks so natural and i'm just obsessed with it. So much like. Oh, my god, i literally can't stop talking about it. Okay, i'm gon na like in this video here, because i can literally just continue talking about this forever.
