How To: Updo W/ A Lace Frontal Wig

Hello, ladies and gents, and welcome back to lacey lemon's channel today, you're watching a tutorial on a lace, frontal updo: yes, a lace, frontal, wig updo, i'm just going to show you guys a little step-by-step, quick tutorial on how to do it. For my people, that don't know it can be done, you don't need a double frontal. All you need is a lace frontal wig, so i already installed her um wig as per usual, like you would do a regular lace on a wig and i'm currently parting out her two pieces in the front um i like to start with styling first to go Ahead and get that out the way um. So, as you see i'm going ahead and i'm clipping those pieces and i'm just doing my regular styling as i would um, i want to make sure those pieces are even at that. You want to make sure both pieces are even so you're going to see me go back and forth back and forth, like really making sure those pieces are as even as i want them to be, is so right now i'm just going to go ahead and start Parting out her baby hairs um, we didn't want to do too many baby years so and i don't like to do a lot of baby ears anyway, um, so we're going to go ahead and part out two baby hairs on each side, and you want to line All both your baby hairs up as well and right now, what you see is me hot combing and i always stress - gets a hot comb. People get a hot cone that is gon na, be your best best friend. So, as you can see, i'm hot cold and i'm being very cautious of my client, because you see she's not jumping or anything, i'm making sure i don't burn her and then this stuff, i'm just showing you guys, i'm plucking a little more to get a little More detail, so this is the biggest part, the back. You want to go ahead and section out um a section of hair in the back straight across, and i like to make my sections a little jagged. So i start pulling up certain pieces because you're going to be able to see the tracks a little bit and in this next clip i'm going to show you what you do to hide the tracks. So after i'm done sectioning out that back i'm going to curl those pieces that are laying straight down in the back uh, my clip is holding the actual hair, that's going to be in the ponytail, so i'm going to go ahead and curl those pieces that, like I said are hanging down in the back and you want to keep those pieces down, because you want to be able to hide a track or whatever you want it to at least give the illusion of a um frontal, ponytail, a double frontal ponytail. So, like i said you go ahead and curl those pieces. This ponytail is no joke. You guys um. I molded this ponytail over like 10 times so make sure you take your time, holding your ponytail into place, uh. So right now i'm going to go ahead and start molding that ponytail in place um. This ponytail takes time you guys - and this is the biggest thing you see me spraying my high beam spray in the creases of the um wig. That is showing the cap. I go ahead and spray. My brown high beam spray to where you don't see the cap, because you see when you put the ponytail up, it's going to be a little bit of the cap showing so i'm going to go ahead and that that's the biggest part of it all just make Sure you spray the cap with your high beams temporary color spray.
