This $10 Product Hides Your Lace?! | Trying Out Bye Bye Lace Grid Tape

I have gathered you all here today to discuss a common enemy. This enemy doesn't care who you are. It doesn't care if you are rich. If you are poor, if you are bougie or if you are ratchet, it doesn't care if you have mega knees or a bad knee. Okay, i think you all know what i'm talking about it's these damn knots on our lace front, wigs! Yes, lord! I am so sick and tired - and i just gathered us all here today to discuss some options, because i think that i may have found our solution. So we're gon na see, let's test it out, hey besties, welcome and welcome back to the channel, i'm back with another video and, as you can probably tell by the title, this is going to be a first impression: slash review of the studio, limited bye-bye lace grid, Not eraser, this bad boy is 12.99 on amazon. This is the studio limited buy by lace, grid, lace, wig grids and knots, eraser, silicone melting tape. So this is a tape. I got it for 12.99. I think. Actually it's on sale right now for just 10 bucks. It comes in two colors, so it comes in natural and clear. They don't have a darker color than this one and i'm gon na. Take it out of the pack and show you what it looks like and then we're just gon na try her out real quick. So some quick stats on this tape before we get into me trying it out. So it is supposed to be super thin. It will adhere to any lace, wig hd lace, swiss lace, transparent lace, lace, closure, shoe laces, any lace. It says that it has a strong hold, so it doesn't move around or roll up on you, which is awesome and then also that the adhesive is really sticky. So you should be able to use it um more than once. You should be able to use it again and again, which is dope, so let's go ahead and try her out. Let me go ahead and put my cap on just real quick. So this is like. Okay, wig caps on. Let me grab my wig okay. This is the otre, perfect hairline yvette. I did review this unit a while back ago. I think i reviewed her while i was pregnant. This is what she looks like very cute. If you're interested in that review, i'll put the link up here in the cards, save it to your playlist watch, it later watch it after this one watch some other videos. You know this is what the hairline looks like. It is a pre-plucked hairline. The hairline looks really good. The hairline looks really good, but, as you can see, we do have some knots, so i want to see how effective the tape is at getting rid of those black knots and covering it up. So i'm going to go ahead and try it out. This is the um natural shade. Hopefully i'm picking that up this little um dark mark that you see right here is actually like additional tape that was holding the roll together. So don't get freaked out by that. It'S just extra tape. The part is about yay long, so i'm gon na cut her right about here. So it feels like it's sticky, like it's um, so i last minute decided to actually do this on my mannequin, because it's just easier um to do it. On the mannequin head, so i flipped her inside out and now i'm just gon na take the tape off. It'S very sticky, be careful and then i'm just going to apply her. So this is what we are looking like now. You can definitely still see the knots, but i think the difference is the knots look like they are literally coming out of scalp, as opposed to just looking black out of coming out of nothing. Does that make sense? If you see the difference between where my finger is and then right here, let's try her on, i don't feel like it's causing my wig to be any tighter than it normally would or uncomfortable in any way, so that's good, definitely definitely giving scalp hold on. So final thoughts on this product do i think this product hides your knots? No, do i think this product hides your lace grids? Yes, do i think that it's worth the money, though? Yes, and let me tell you why, so i think that this product is definitely worth the money. It doesn't hide the knots as you can see in the clip. My like the black knots from the lace wig are still pretty clear like pretty apparent. However, it does hide the grid very well, so, instead of it, looking like the black knots are coming out of lace. It actually looks like it's coming out of scalp, so it mimics what your natural hair follicle would look like, and i mean it's not dead on, but it's pretty darn close, i mean it does look really really natural and for ten dollars. I think it's definitely a steal um to be able to hide your lace grids. You know your little screen door to be able to hide it, but yeah. I absolutely definitely definitely will be using this product in the future um. I might just incorporate it into like my daily wig application technique, routine, etc. Um yeah, i'm really really really feeling it.
