Tutorial | How To Get A Strong Lace Frontal Hold

Hi everyone, Scott, is lilian. Welcome back to my channel. Well, I want to show you how to keep your wigs on while working out in the gym a lot of times. We let our hair bother us or interfere with our workouts and keep us from going to the gym or we wear hats which is totally unknown. Oh, I never wear hats. I wore hats a couple times, but then I remember a long time ago. My mother telling me that don't wear baseball caps because they gave you forehead wrinkles and that kind of just her voice and she's gone bless her heart rung in my head, and I said: oh my god, I can't wear hats, but sometimes when I'm really lazy, I Might wear you know the really cute scarves to match my outfit, but the majority of times I have been wearing my wig. This wig, I kind of just swoop it to the side and braid it up and you'll. See that how I put it on so I wouldn't show you how I attach my wig to keep it on through a workout. You can hang upside down, I mean you can do anything you want and that baby is not coming off. So what you will need is a lace: wig strap, yes, you will need a lace, wig strap and I sell these. These are my lace. Wig straps are on Amazon and lace, wig straps, calm, some type of double sided, wig tape, and you will also need a little vial of a hay Civ. This is the 32nd lace wig touch of the vine, and this is what it looks like it's only like. I want to say $ 6.99 in the beauty supply store and they have the real big giant jar, but this is just a little touch-up one, and this is all you need, because it's just going right across the front okay, so I am going to show you How I apply my wig and keep it on not going anywhere, and let me give you a close-up, that's my wit, close-up and yeah. It'S stuck to my forehead. Okay. So let's get start my size in the Cameron. So I want to show you what the inside of my wig looks like with the lace wig strap already attached. I did a video a couple videos back on how to get a 2-week hole so in that video I had put this strap all the way to the edge. I applied the tape all the way to the edge and I applied the strap all the way to the edge. Now, that's fine if you are wearing your hair to the front to cover it, but I found out that it works better for me because I need to glue it down in the front while working out in the gym. If I don't put it all the way to the edge, so this strap has been on here for I'm gon na say about three weeks. I did tack machine sew it down, because I it's really. This is really thick polyurethane and you can try to get a straight needle through that. You know if you holding a pair of pliers to push it through, or else you know, you're just gon na kill your fingers so yeah. I tech mines down on the sewing machine, but it's still, you know, has the the double-sided wig tape and the strap is attached to the tape. So you want to leave a little opening across the front because that's where you are going to apply the tape and the bonding glue to glue it down, okay, so I'll straighten her out later. So I actually just took the wig off so I'm gon na. Do it again, so what you're gon na do first is take some kind of cleansing oil or cleansing something and you're gon na clean it. So I have my mirror right here. I'M looking in the mirror, so pretty much. What I'm doing is just cleaning that old glue off because it was on there and any makeup or whatever that was on there so and I'm going to get a Kleenex and wipe that off really good. If I had did it this morning, this area it's already clean, because you want to put it on what I do is I just put it on first and then I do my eye makeup in that time. That way, it has enough time to stick. Okay, so watch I'm not quad cuz. I don't want to go too long, so the bonding glue. Yes, this as xxxii. It has a 30 second bonding time. So you're gon na have to be really quick and I know you can see it, but I'm just gon na put the camera down a little bit. So have your scissors ready so we're going to go ahead and put it from you can do you know? I mean a lot of people shave off their. I don't know what you call this little. This is the little stick. I don't know what you cook a lot of people shave this up, so they can just bring the tape all the way down. You can shave it it's fine, I don't. I stop right here and right there. Alright! So remember! This glue has a 30 second bonding time and I'm going past my little peep. So I want to make sure I have enough glue for my tape to stick really good, that's probably about 15 seconds, and this is called lace FX and it's a really narrow one. It'S like that. I think 1/4 inch. So I'm going ahead and I'm right over that glow and then I'm gon na cut it. So I'm just gon na swipe swipe swipe press press press normally at this point I'll go ahead and do my eye makeup and concealer. I don't do foundation to go to the gym, but I do do a little highlight a little. You know so my cheese could glow, but I do have you know. I have makeup on now because I'm on video, so I'm just gon na press press press and hope that I get a really good hole for you. Okay, so when you want to lift the tape off of when I'm gon na get my tweezers lift the top portion of the tape off, you have to be very careful, so I'm gon na zoom the camera in just a little bit more. So you can see how I'm gon na lift it off, so you want to not do it from the in you want to do it sort of like a quarter of an inch away from the end. You want to get it in between the tape and the top part there we go okay, so I got a really good. Um hold okay. So now we're gon na take our wig look at her she's just throwing down there. Let me brush it out how I know that I have the center. I always work with my little snaps in the back, but these they snap on. I like these snaps, they open and close, and they snap right on to the strap. So you have to be kind of delicate and not throw your wig over just take it and move it to the back. Like that, I pretty much like to just line up my middle snap with my nap back here. That'S how I know I have my wig in the middle and just make sure all your hair is out of the way and you're gon na. Stick it right on the edge and you pretty only much get one try, because it's gon na I went a little pass, but that's okay get a good press press, it press press press and I want you to see me fasten the strap. So I think I'm gon na try to turn on Leon, lift the hair out the way, so the strap is going to once you take your strap and secure it down is gon na really press fit okay, and you want to just keep pressing in to make Sure you get a really good hole and I'll get up close. You can kind of see okay, so here we're fine. Now I take my finger and I go like this - to pull some of the hair like to make it kind of lay like baby here, because okay, so do you see, I think the lights right here. So I just kind of pull it like that. A little bit it and I berate it a rubberband. I know I don't really braid it all the way to the end, and this is it I'll put some. You know little stud earrings on and I'm good to go. I kind of mess make it a little messy though Mike, and this is me it's how I work out, and this is how you wear your wigs to the gym rock your wigs. Ladies okay, thank you for watching.
