Grwm: No Got2Bglue, No Lace Glue, No Tape Frontal Wig Application (Talk-Thru)

Alright, so the braided portion of this video is already done. I'M gon na put some of this wild growth oil. On my braids before I apply my wig, because I want to make sure your hair is very hydrated and I did these braids super chunky, because one y'all I'm gon na, keep it real. I feel like braiding, my hair, and to when I did my other braiding video. I show John, that you don't have to do super tiny braids. In order for your wig to look natural, I got my wig over here y'all, I washed it blow-dried. It put some oil on it and flat ironed it like yes bone straight, and I decided to do the side part version of the way I apply my wigs, because I already did a video like this before on how to do it with a middle part. But today we're gon na be doing a side part, and I got it super slick you're like oh, my gosh. I wanted a really nice press, so I just took my time to go through and make it super straight, and I clip the ends as well, because I was like I don't want any raggedy ANNs the lace. The knots are bleached on this lace and it is tweezed for a more natural look once you apply it to the skin. It gives it a more realistic, look to it and I have an elastic band on here, which is still a little damp, and then this is how it looks in the inside it's threaded down. I did apply this front on a quick weave. That'S why you see this hair glue right here, but it's sewn on this cap. You want to put on the back. First, hold it down, pull down your elastic band and you got to make sure that when you put the elastic band on your wig that it's the exact size for your head, you don't want to make it too big or too small, because one, if it's too Small, it's gon na hurt and two if it's too big, it's not gon na stay flat on your head and it's gon na move your wig around, like throughout the day your wig is going to be shifting and sliding back, and you don't want that to happen. I always go from ear to ear, so when I glue down my front so normally like my lace, it stops right here and I glue it down. I shift my wig to, however, I feel like wearing it at that time and install. So that's what I'm gon na be doing today, I'm gon na see where my baby hair is that, because I want some baby hair, but I really just want like a sleek look like behind the ear with a little bit of baby here, so we're gon na Make it up as we go y'all know I usually wear my hair back like this and, like that really nice deep side, part with the hair full. It'S left right here. I don't want to keep doing the same style though, like I don't want you guys to think that I wear my hair the same every single time. I do it so we're gon na. Do it a little bit differently today, in order for my legs to be like completely invisible, I have to one do baby hair or glue it down, but when I do my wigs, you guys know that I don't like to rely on glue or anything so what I do is add a little bit of baby here, just a little bit, because I do not like my wigs to look fake, I'm gon na be using my Murray's edge, wax the Xtreme hold put it down on my baby here, push it back so that it Does not move - and I don't like a lot of baby here, but I personally have to have some baby here, because you want to apply your wig. The way that you wear your natural hair, because that's the way that is gon na look realistic. So even incorporating like your natural baby hair into the wig is a good idea. I'M gon na take some of this hair mousse. I got this from Dollar Tree, believe it or not. I got it around the time of my State Board test, because I wanted something that I bought like products that I didn't have to go to the beauty supply to get like. I bought some cheaper products because I'm like I'm only using it for this day when I go and check my test, so it doesn't make any sense for me to go and buy all these expensive products to put on these mannequins, and I definitely wasn't taking my Good products from home to use on the mannequins I'm putting mousse on my edge control, because if you guys didn't know the quickest way to dry your edge control so that it won't slide or move or anything like that or make your hair wrinkled back up. It'S to put mousse on it or to blow-dry it right away, so I'm gon na put some more baby hair right here and my hairline, you guys not so just another video. My hair line is so low that sometimes my baby hair is sticking out. So I use my real baby here to incorporate into the week to make it look even more and you don't have to make baby here on your front. So if you don't want to, but you're gon na have to glue it down, because the only way to now use baby hair and make it look super natural, like I'm telling y'all to make it look the most natural you have to use adhesive to lay it Down because then it'll melt into your skin, which sounds horrible right, but it's not literal it'll, basically camouflage with your skin and make it look like it's growing out of your scalp. That'S the best way to apply your wigs to make them look natural without leaving out baby here, but if you're a baby hair fanatic, like me, you'll want baby here alright, so we got this side done. Okay, I don't know why people think that it takes a million-in-one products to make your hair or your weave look natural. It doesn't. I literally just use the mousse and edge control and i'm finished. I'M gon na use NYX butter gloss in vanilla cream pie. How have y'all been lately like? How is life treating you have you been feeling good, like has anything crazy happen? Lately anything challenging like what's been going on y'all, because when I do these videos, like I said in another video, I want them to be. You know motivational, I want you guys to get something from my video, even if it is a hair tutorial like I want you guys to be able to take something away from this video and apply it to your life. I want this video to be inspirational, even if you're, a hair stylist like me, and you feel like giving up sometimes - and you don't know what to do anymore and you're, tired of waiting building clientele and getting your name out there like. I don't want y'all to give up no matter what you're going through, no matter what occupation you have, no matter how many people you have supporting you or telling you that you can't do it that you're not gon na make it that you're never gon na get To where you want to be in life, don't let people like that trying to stop you, because there's so many people like that in this world and all they do is go around trying to make people's lives miserable, and it's so annoying to me, friends, family. Your best friend you'll find that the people, you trust the most, are people that hurt you, the most, the people that hate on you, the most the people that don't support you when it's supposed to be the opposite, alright y'all. So my camera cut off when I did some more baby here. All I did was add another baby here right here and that's pretty much. It didn't edit this clip to keep my hair up while I'm doing my eyebrows. So before my camera cut off, I was talking to y'all about sake. People basically and fake people can come in any form. I was telling y'all family friends best friends like y'all, really have to watch, who you let into your circle and who you say you trust and who you think is really here for you when they're, not because nine times out of ten you're gon na get people That stay, they support you for believing you and they really don't. I'M gon na turn my Flatiron on, so I'm gon na style this hair as well. I think I'm gon na call this a get ready with me, even though I'm not going anywhere. I had to tone down that pink. I put vanilla cream pie on my lips and then I just put this praline on top because I didn't want it to pink like I like pink lips, but I don't want it to pink so yeah. I was talking to y'all about fake friends. They tell you to be smart about who you choose as your friend right, but nowadays there's no such thing as knowing who people really are. You know I mean until something happens, and then they show you who they really are. What the hell is that a boss heart, you know it's time to get a new friends of them. You'Re not gon na know somebody's true intentions by simply getting to know them. You know what I mean: they're gon na show you their fakeness in the weirdest times the weirdest, when you think that your relationship is at a high right now, when you think that you guys, like nothing, can break y'all. That'S when they're gon na show you their true intentions. So one is you get one side, I'm talking about one sign that this person is fake. Phony, don't mean you no good abort mission y'all through, because people are just so conniving scheming and they try to come up off you and I'm not saying this based off of anything. That'S happened to me recently because nothing's happened recently but um. I just feel like people are dead s gunning for your life. You just really have to watch out for yourself and once you start seeing that you know I don't have I don't. I can't be doing stuff like this. I don't have anything else to lose once you start treating your life like that, you'll notice, the people - that's not supposed to be in your life, the people that mean you no good like what you think the things are going so good and just nothing wrong can Happen, that's when they're gon na show you their true colors, and it's so sad, because this could be somebody that you've known for years, ten plus years, five plus years. You know I'm saying and all of a sudden they just now, I'm gon na, decide to tell you or show you who they are after all, this time, y'all knowing each other being around each other, getting comfortable with each other and just all of a sudden. It'S not of nowhere. Oh I want to be fake today. I want to show her that I really don't care about her success. I want to show her that that should have been me. You know what I mean and people they just don't mean any good. You know what I'm saying: they don't even care about the hard work that you put in to get to where you're at none of that matters, because they don't want to see you in that position. They don't and it's like how do you? How do you figure this on the begin and when, in the beginning everybody wants to impress you everybody wants to be like you, you know I'm saying everybody wants to. Oh you did that girl. You killed that. How do you figure that out when everyone's kissing your ass in the beginning, you can't you figure this out later on way down the road way down the road and that's not to say that you can't have successful relationships with people, and you can't have 10 years Plus friendship with somebody or five years, plus friendship with somebody, it's just saying, you know, watch your back and they always say watch out for new people and it's not always new people. I told y'all people show you the most hate and the weirdest times when you think y'all good. You think your friendship, just banking, like y'all, been friends for so many years and then all of a sudden we're not friends anymore. I got so many people that I used to be friends with that. I'M not friends with anymore that'll, write me and be like girl, you're, so good at doing, hair and I'd be seeing you post this and that and they'd be talking about how good you are down there and I'm so happy and I'm so proud of you and I wish you the best of luck. I hope that you get everything that you want in life and blah blah blah, then all of a sudden they try to get next to you or they tried to be like you know, I'm the reason why you this or I'm the reason why you that, if You want to friends with me back in the day you wouldn't even be this person or you'll. Have those people that constantly try to remind other people who you were before you became, who you are when it makes no sense. So why do you have to keep reminding me or other people where I came from? You know what I'm saying: why is that your job? Why is that a big deal for you? Why do you need to remind me or somebody else where I came from when clearly I know where I came from and the people that try to say? Oh, you think you're on some type of pedestal or you think you're better than everybody. That'S the person that wants your life girl, yo just clipped some damn air, but for real, the people that be hating on you thinking like. Oh, she thinks she's better than somebody. That'S the person that wants you period, because I am one of the most humble people ever like I kid you not. I will never feel like. I made it or I'm better than anybody or that I do hair better than everybody in so I don't never ever. I don't care how many compliments I get. I don't care how many accolades, how many awards cuz. I have some Awards now for doing here. I don't care about that stuff. You know what I mean that doesn't make me the best. Stylist, that's walk this earth. How does somebody rewarded me for something that I'm good at make me better than everybody else? It does it, because if it did, that award wouldn't be passed out again, you know I'm saying it would have got to you and never been passed. However, again when they made one award, they made another one. They didn't stop with you, so I would never feel like I'm better than somebody people used to tell me that in beauty school, oh, she thinks she better than everybody. Oh she cocky. Oh, she thinks she oughta. How did you get that impression of me by me simply sitting here, not saying anything at all like I would literally go into school and not say anything, nothing to nobody. You know what I'm saying, because I'm that person that sits in the corner might in her business not worried about what everybody else is doing, and I get my work done. I work best when I'm sitting there by myself doing what I'm supposed to be doing. I worked the best when I do that, so me trying to act like I'm better than you. What sense does that make? I think I'm better than you, because I'm sitting here minding my business like and then you have to think about it. People don't know where you came from where you've been what you've been through. They don't know how many people have hurt. You or I've tried to knock you down from where you are today. They don't know that all the she is a person that's before them today, and so they automatically think that you think you're better than somebody. How? Because I walk with my head held high because I'm not worried about you or anybody else, because I don't have an opinion on something negative that you want to talk about. That makes me somebody that think they're better than someone else. That makes no sense to me, like people would literally try to try you, and I got tried so many times when I was in school like. Why must you try to make me think something about myself that I don't think I don't think that I'm better than anybody and that doesn't show that I'm better than anybody just because I come in and I do what's required of me and then I leave that Makes me a smart person, that's about her business, that's not here to play! You know what I'm saying: don't let people try to knock you down and make you think something of yourself that you don't think at all think positive thoughts. You guys always no matter what people say to you or about you, no matter what rumor they try to spread, no matter what bag they try to stop constantly secure the bag constantly do what's required of you constantly go above and beyond the naysayers and do what's Going to get you to the next level in a positive light, don't try to you know, scheme your way to the top. Just because you see somebody over here doing good, then you got to go. Oh, let me get a piece of that so that I can knock her down a couple of notches. Why, when someone's worked hard to get to where they're at today, let them have their shine. Don'T do stuff like that. Why should you feel bad that somebody puts you in a position or you put yourself in a position to win? Why should you feel bad for that? And I'm not gon na hate on somebody else to try to make me look better. I'M not gon na put dirt on somebody else's name to try to get me more clients or to make me look better as a person or a hair stylist like I'm, not gon na do that it makes no sense whatsoever, but sadly everybody doesn't think the same, And it's not something that can be taught. You know what I mean it comes by making mistakes and then growing from it. It comes by falling flat on your face and getting back up. That'S where it comes from. You can never teach the hustle. You know what I'm saying like you have to do it yourself. You have to do it yourself. You have to put the work in yourself. You cannot expect somebody else to do it for you and then think you're gon na get success from it. It doesn't happen like that. I want you guys to take away from my videos to be positive and to do good to people, because, if you're doing good and you're standing your lane, nothing but positivity and rewards will come your way. You'Re not gon na have to worry about stressing about money if you're not trying to stop somebody else's bag. You know what I'm saying, but you guys at the end of this video.
