Hey y'all, so in today's video we're going to be styling, this gorgeous gorgeous wig from Wiggins hair. This is a 13 by 4, 200 density 30 inch wig and it is absolutely gorgeous. It definitely gives more than 30 inches, but I wanted to do a dramatic, deep side part. So if you would like to see how I achieved this, then stay tuned Jesus starting off. I just took my hair out of the style. I was in my two buns and my saloop, as you guys have seen if you have not seen that video then definitely go check it out. I posted it last week so here I'm just putting the cap on and I don't really do too much with my hair underneath if I was keeping the wig on longer, I would definitely go in and do some braids, but in this video I'm going to be Doing it the lazy way, so here is the wig. I'Ve already straightened it and gotten my part and everything ready on my mannequin head. I prefer to do it that way, because you get to see all of the hairs. You don't miss any spots when you're straightening it and then the part you put the wig on your head before you make the part so that once you put it on it's exactly where you wanted it to be in relation to like your face or, however, you Wanted it to be parted The Parting on a mannequin head, and then you could do everything else on your actual head once you apply it so here I am just cutting off the excess lace around the ear so that it lays nice and flat because I originally Went into this wanting to make it glueless completely, I ended up using some hairspray because I wasn't able to get it as flat as I wanted it just with the elastic band. So so you want to be really careful at this part not to cut your ear or anything crazy. So I use eyebrow scissors just to be safe and I also make sure I'm looking in the mirror, so I don't actually snip the tip of my ear, but this is what it looks like I didn't do any plucking. I did a little bit of plucking in the front, but not too much because I still haven't mastered the plucking game, but this is what the elastic band looks like once you put it in the wig, it's from ear to ear in the back and then here's A close-up of the lace and as you can see, the elastic band has it nice and snug, but I still went in and decided to add some hairspray. So here I am about to apply the wig and I'm just clipping the sides back so that all the hair is out of the way I don't get any hairspray on the actual hair and then I'm just going to be sectioning off the front of the lace. So just cutting it into three sections so that once I put the hair spray on, I have some room. You know to move it around, and here I'm also using the eyebrow scissors and that's also what I'll be using to cut the lace as well, because I am terrified of cutting my lace with eyebrow razors, so here I'm taking the black even spray. This is my first time or second time actually using the black can and this stuff is the truth. Okay, I so now, I'm just gon na pull down the lace and kind of Comb, the hair into it, and I finally finally finally finally decided to start doing it this way. I know you guys usually see me spray the hairspray on top of the lace yeah. No, I'm not doing that ever again because no, I don't know why I was even doing that in the first place, but I definitely prefer to do it this way. So now I'm gon na have my elastic band on for about 10 minutes or so, and then I'm going to go ahead and lift it back and then just cut it off with those same scissors, I've been using throughout the video. So, as you can see, I do still have a little bit of lace left behind and it is a little lifted. But here I'm just going to go in and spray that same hairspray on top and then I'm going to put my elastic band on one more time just to get that last little melt in and I have it on for about 20 minutes or so. And then I'm going to also blow dry it before. I take it off just to make sure it's dry, because I've had moments where I thought it was dry. I took it off and it literally pulled the lace up with it. So I'm just doing this just to make sure everything is good to go. So now I'm just going to bring all of the hair to the front because I'm going to be trimming the ends. I do this with all of my wigs just to make them a little bit more blunt and they, it literally makes the wig look so much thicker. You guys know when the ends are nice, and straight and blunt it just looks. Super juicy and the hair looks amazing, so I'm just going to cut off a tiny, tiny bit which you're going to see in a second. I don't go too crazy. I still want to keep the length. This is a 30 inch wig and it is definitely giving being like at least I'm gon na say at least 32 I'm 5'7, and this is pretty long for a 30 inch. So, as you can see, I didn't cut off a lot at all and I'm gon na do the same thing on the other side as well to make it even you just want to line up the hair and get it even and then you're just going to Cut it straight across and now here are the ends. As you can see, they look a lot Fuller. I did go in and bump the ends with my flat iron, and that just gives the ends a more uniform look, which also gives it a more Fuller appearance. So that it looks nice and full and healthy, so now I'm going to take off the elastic band and I'm just going to work on these edges so, like I said, I wanted to do a very dramatic, deep side, part situation. So, as you can see, the side is still, you know a little bit of lace, but I'm going to cover that with the Sideburn. So I'm just going to leave it, but I'm going to cut out a little triangular section right there at the temple and that's going to be my swoop and then, of course, I'm going to pull the hair right beside my ear as well. Now I'm taking my hot comb and I'm going to get as close as I can, without burning myself and just hot combing, the hair forward, because that's the direction I wanted to go in because, as you can see, it has been behind my ear. So it is kind of molded that direction. So I'm going to take this piece here and do the exact same thing and then I'm just going to trim them. You want to make sure you cut them longer than you intend for them to be so that you don't cut off too much hair and you could cut off as you go. So I'm just going to cut off a decent amount of this and then just do the method where you curl it with a flat iron which the footage was completely corrupted. I don't know what even happened, but you just want to curl the baby hair away from your face, and then you want to curl the one by your ear towards your face and then just kind of mold them cut them. Do all you got to do to get this to look the way you want, and I noticed with the side part in order for it to look as uniform as possible, you kind of have to cut back a little bit more. So not just the edges is, as you can see here, I'm cutting a little bit further back so that when I swoop it it all just kind of like looks uniform if that makes sense, instead of it just being one huge swoop. It'S just like shorter hairs to create that swoop. So now I'm going to go in and fix the part up a little bit with some eyeshadow I'm taking a angled brush and just making that look a little bit more crisp and, as you can see, the baby hair is real crusty, but we're gon na comb. That out in the end, so you guys will see that in a second. But I'm gon na put the elastic band back on, and this is just to melt the lace one last time and also to mold the baby hairs in the direction that I swoop them. So here is the final product after I took the elastic band off, I just combed the baby hairs out so that they looked a little bit softer and not super crunchy, and this is what the hair is. Looking like, it's absolutely gorgeous. It is pretty much right at the bottom or, I would say the middle of my butt. So I feel like this is a pretty long. 30 inch. Okay, here, I'm just combing out the front to do a very dramatic, deep side, part look and, as you can see, this is gorgeous so so gorgeous. I love this hair super soft super full. This is like my go-to. I love me a good swoop, so I wanted to show you guys just how quickly and easily I do my swoops when I wear my wigs, I literally just comb it all forward and then just kind of mold it in that direction and then that's it literally. If you want it to be more, you know uniform and just a little bit, I guess more professional. You could definitely do the whole hairspray thing and all that, but I don't like to put a whole lot of products in my way eggs. So therefore, I'm just going to swoop it to the side and if you want to you, can put on a bobby pin right by your ear just to keep it all over there, because sometimes it does kind of fall but yeah. I hope you guys enjoyed this video definitely give it a huge thumbs up, be sure to check the description box for all the information on this gorgeous gorgeous wig from Wiggins hair.
