How To Re-Install Your Wig: Perfect Part + Super Flat Install + Baby Hair Tutorial

Hey y'all welcome back to my channel. I am Olivia Nancy if you're new here and if you're, a returning subscriber welcome back, welcome back in this video, I'm going to be showing you guys how I reinstall my wigs. I literally do this all the time like I usually go, get my hair done by my stylist and then I get many wears out of my wig, because I learned how to reinstall it myself. So it's definitely saved me a lot of money. I'M also doing this. Video six months pregnant, so I'm very out of breath and just try and give you all the content. I have already done my Bobcat method under my wing, and I've actually already put my first layer of glue, I'm onto my second layer glue and um y'all. I recorded a little bit of that footage and I accidentally deleted it, but it's okay, we're gon na pick. It up from right here and if y'all have any questions. I can definitely give you all that, because this is definitely giving bald like this is all wig cap right here I was gon na put y'all on one of the products that really make my Bobcat method like chef's kiss, but I'ma just wait just in case y'all. Do want a bobcat Method, video, so, let's get into it. This is gon na be really straight to the point um. This is my first hair video I've ever done like ever on my YouTube channel on this YouTube channel. So I'm kind of nervous I've been looking too rough for too long and I'm just tired of it like. So this is the second layer. By the way I am using um bold home bold, hold glue. I like to be educated, but I'm so frustratedness. I don't want it too far down on my forehead to where I don't have a forehead at all, but I don't want it too far back either uh. I love using these sticks to spread my glue, um, I'm also home by myself, which makes it so much easier to do this type of content, because um y'all know I'm being mommy mode and when I'm in Mommy Mode, I don't always have time to really do This or when I do have time to do this, I don't really feel like filming, because it takes longer to film and to do things I already do like lay my wig or do my makeup, but um espresso, with having another baby on the way it's like When am, I gon na ever have time to film and really do this, but I had time today the glue was already dry, like I didn't even have to blow dry up, I'ma still blow dry, just to make sure we're all screwed the problems stay up. I feel so outdated. How can we look the other way but yeah it's on there, and so the baby hairs are are pushed back because uh this is a reinstall, so everything is already done and I'm gon na add some more glue because there's some flappies here that didn't really lay Down so I'm gon na take off some glue because yeah I'm gon na take off some glue because um, where I place the laces a little bit further back and then I'm gon na lace some more glue on there. I really wanted to do this. Um wig install and do like a question and answer type video at the same time, but God knows I'm terrible at multitasking and I really just wanted this video to be straight to the point. Oh don't drop it yet. I really just wanted this video to be straight to the point. So maybe one day I will do a video like that, where we have like topics to talk about the sun is out, but the sky is okay. So now, if I feel like there's any like excess glue anywhere, I'm gon na take a little bit of alcohol and just clean it up a little bit and just because the flyaways will stick to it and I hate that scar. So bad. I just be trying to hurry up and put the wig on and lay down quickly and kind of work fast. I'M gon na be hurting myself on accident. Why does that scar have to be right there? Where I put my lace light and I could have covered it, but I want like I kind of like my forehead being out like I don't like covering too much of my forehead, I'm not my camera's about to die. Okay, I'm basically just gon na finish. Cleaning up this glue and then um, then I'm gon na tie it down. Okay, so I clean most the glue up. There might still be some, but I'm gon na just go ahead and spray a little bit of this and then um blow dry. It a little bit and tie it down before I get to like you know, laying it for real, but this is the lace bun, the admin lace Bond and I have it in the red. Can I actually just started using this? I don't know if I like it yet, because all right, I just started using it, but uh, I'm just put a very small out because it sometimes makes the heart. It sometimes makes the hair like hard. If you get on there - and I don't want that to happen - so I think I'll chewing - Okay, so my camera actually needed to charge just a little bit well, it needs to charge more, but I ain't got time for that. I'M trying to wrap it up. So let's take this off, let's see what this lace is looking like, I still need to you know, style and um, let my baby hairs and all that. But let's see, let's see, okay, the lace is on there. So now I'm gon na basically find where my baby hairs are at now so yeah. Sometimes when you're doing a reinstall, you might have to take out a little bit more baby hairs. Just because you know things happen, how much I missed! I'M gon na go in with my um olive oil. Mousse really just play with it until it's like how I want it foreign, even when my stylist does my hair, he does my baby hair is completely different from how I do it so um like he doesn't use the straightener Pearl. Nothing unless I like asking too, but he shakes doing it, but as a stylist, you really just have to do what works for you. I ain't no stylist but I'll be trying but yeah. As long as my stylist does my first install on the lid, I could reapply a lid. It just is time consuming, but I is out, but the sky is gray. What would happen if I took a chance? Okay, y'all. I had to scoop the camera back soon. So y'all could see how beautiful this hair is. I just got done straightening like half of it, and it's just so pretty like what this is. Um 30 inches so see they say not to have been over when you're pregnant. But honestly, I have not followed that rule at all. I'Ve been over all the time because like who has time to keep asking somebody to help you pick something up like so I'm sitting in my last chair. You guys, I really well. I wouldn't exaggerate like that. I was gon na say I really miss lashing, but I think I just really missed the thought of just having my own business like. I still have my business, but I haven't been lashing um really ever since I became pregnant. So I kind of miss the feeling of having clients and slaying the girls. All that, oh yeah, you guys did y'all see my nails. So these are, let me make sure, there's no makeup on him. These are my natural nails. I don't know if y'all can see, but usually when I get my nails done, I get tips on them, but I had my last set for so long. My natural nails grew out and I just got powder on top of them and it has some um. Is it called crocod? Is it crocodile? I think so? It has like a crocodile texture pattern on the end and it was just too cute. His hair is so pretty. I don't know if I mentioned it, but I actually dyed this hair black. So it's looking so good, very much 30 inches like it's in down there. This next and last step is very important, so pay attention um. We are about to work on the part. Let'S take this off now, I'm gon na just section off this frontal part and go through the frontal with my re-nutrient slick stick. This is to kind of smooth it. It is flat. I don't like these too much, because I want to look greasy, but this part is very, very, very important because you want this to be as flat as possible, real flat and down. Oh, I feel all of that. This is really how you get the um lace to be flat going through the frontal y'all hear that Thunder it's raining so hard. Now I swear soon. I'M gon na do like a protective style because, honestly, I don't be having time to do all this and it's like I've been thinking about it. I'M like I'm about to have two kids. Am I really don't have time to sit here and lay in front of the night? Oh okay, at that? That'S so nice, then after this all I got ta do is conceal my part and then I'm done just tie it down still got ta fix. My part. How flat it's getting do y'all see this, so I think we can work on the part now, hello, sorry, I'm coming! Okay! One second y'all see before I um before I die this hair black. The part looks so over bleached, like my stylus, is amazing, but he overseas, but he be fixing it with, like you know the Hairspray, the um, you know the spray Styles, the color spray stuff and doing the concealer thing. So that's all I've been having to do so. This part, I really have to concentrate on I'm gon na bring dog in a little bit closer foreign, so just get some concealer close to my skin color and I really have to concentrate on this part because I'm afraid to mess it up. Sometimes I do this. While it's on my wig head it's easier, but this time I didn't, of course my other mirror. I might really need that. Yeah I've been stopping and starting my camera been dying. I'M almost done enough much. I missed okay, so I'm so nerves. To do this. I haven't really mastered this part yet, but I'll be trying like what I'm so nervous to move because wow okay, we did something: okay, okay, I really just shocked myself hold on alrighty, so just to really secure everything before I tie it down and clean up and Go to bed um, I'm using a little bit of this um Foundation, which is why I use on my wig cap as well and I'm gon na just basically, but I'm so frustrated hello, all right! So I'm finally done doing my hair. I think it came out pretty good y'all. Tell me what y'all think I went ahead and just kept it straight. Just because, okay, I got a secret to tell y'all. Oh, my head: don't tell anybody so that's why it's straight, but um some curls would be really cute. I actually bought a curling iron like the other day and I'm thinking about actually trying to teach myself how to curls so yeah.
