Hi, everyone i'm christina and in this video i am wearing - and i'm going to be talking to you about the new top smart topper by genre - know, which is part of the full 2018 collection. And this is an extra special topper because, as some of you will know, this is the first lace front topper that john renault have released, and some of you have been asking john renault to produce a lace front topper for some time and they've been listening to Hair wearers all over and finally they have answered you, and here it is, as some of you will know, i usually have a friend. So this is unusual for me, but just for you, i'm sacrificing the fringe today, although it's quite good to have a average sized forehead. I think I might get useless. So it's good to be able to demonstrate this for you as it's a little out of my comfort zone, but sometimes it's good to step out of that and try something new what I am liking about, this new topper is the new box. Look at this very stylish, but I do like what's inside the box even more, but I did notice when I first took this topper out of the box. Is that it's not 18 inches all over I've done a bit of measuring this morning. It'S actually a layered piece, it has the shortest parts, are at the front and they measure about 11 to 12 inches, and then it graduates downwards kind of going down to 15 16 inches, and it has this top layer which is shorter. You see here and then eventually it graduates to 18 inches at the back. So really it's only the back piece, which is 18 inches. If you see here my own hair, which is probably a bit longer than 18 inches now, the front doesn't quite cover that, because it's shorter here and my hair is longer underneath. So, unlike for example, what I would normally wear an easy part excel, which is all one length all over and would cover this hair at the front, this topper doesn't do that. You have a layered top piece and then the back part is the 18 inch. I don't know if you can see here so it's here where you're getting the 18 inch length, so if you were expecting 18 inches all over, that is not the case with this topper. So I'll show you the inside of the cap, which is 9 inches by 9 inches, so that gives a really good coverage and it's suitable for mid to advanced stages of hair loss. But even if you weren't in that stage, you could still wear this as I am and you'll see here the lace front and it is deepest part. I measured this to be about 1.2 inches and, unlike other toppers, where the clip would be closer to the front edge of the topper. This clip sits behind the lace so, where I'm wearing it here, if I feel where the clip is the clip is here rather than closer to the front, and if you preferred not to wear Clips either in the center or at the sides, you could remove those Clips and there's a polyurethane section there, which you could use with adhesive or tape and also with the lace front, if you felt that you wanted that to stick a bit firmly on your forehead, you could use adhesive or tape for that, and I shared a video From John Renault recently, which shows how to use the appropriate tape for the different parts of the lace front topper. So if you have a look at my videos, you'll find that shared on there, and here we have the single monofilament area. So that gives a really good wide monofilament area at the front, and then we have the weft in around the back. The clips are the larger type clip like you would find on the top wave or the top style. Some people find it that those clips are a little bit too large or clunky, feeding underneath or uncomfortable. If that was the case, you could take the clips off and change them for a smaller type clip. So I'm going to take the top off and then put it back on, so I can show you how the lace front creates that natural, looking front hairline you'll, see with my own thin hair and my larger-than-average forehead, where the hair is receding at the front. If you place the lace front, part of the topper a bit further down than you need it and then salida it backwards with the clips to where you want your front hairline to be, and that comes back any baby hairs that you don't want. Sticking out from the lace to get it to a position where you'd like it to be combing those hairs backwards and then secure the front clips and then pull the clips and the cap at the back to a comfortable position for you. And finally, the back clip and then I can show you how the lace creates a natural-looking front hairline, and the good thing about this is that you can wear it forward. If you want to, you, can wear it a side, part middle part, or you can just brush the hair back off the face like this and now john renault have this lace front topper. It opens up a whole new set of possibilities in terms of styling, especially for JonBenet fans who, like the toppers and like the colors, but may have felt a little bit limited beforehand, because they prefer to have a lace front. So this is really an exciting new product, just to mention the color, I'm wearing briefly, it's 12 fs8. If you're wondering about the California blonde colors they are coming soon so hold on, they are on their way and you can pre-order them from our website. I have here 24 BT 18s 8, which is also known as shaded Makkah or shaded MOCA, our American friends. But you can view all the colors available in this topper on our website. A LT: This is so informative, especially the part where you show how to best apply it! Thank you! ❤️

Joanna Zian: It's so hard to decide which colour is the best to choose from those little colour samples on the website:( I am seriously considering this topper (my first ever hair piece :/) but totally no idea which colour would be best:( Watched all other wig bloggers trying to determine colours on their heads, but still not found what I need. And I need something which is light brown, but blended with other colours so it's not too dark but not too blond- it proves very trickY!! Would you consider making a video showing colour options one by one so people can see how they really look on head? I don't know- maybe in series- blonds, browns, reds and comparing different shades, showing how they differ... This would be sooo helpful... I'm also in UK and so glad to have discovered your reviews!
