Daddy stop the music, hey career girls! Welcome back to it's a good lifestyle, I'm so glad you're here as per usual. This is a very realistic, wig video. I can't tell you how many countless videos I've watched on YouTube to learn how to do that. Bald cap method for laying your lace fronts, and usually I just lay my lace fronts with got to be glued, which I can do that in a completely separate video with lace wipes. That'S usually pretty easy, but today I wanted to try a new method using the bold hold extreme cream, and it is not easy. I mean the product is great, like it will stick, but what sucks about it is you'll see the mistakes that I made. I should have just really taken my time now mind you I've been doing. I did this in about two and a half hours. That'S how long it took me. I'M a first time are doing it this way. So I feel like watching. My mistakes are really gon na help. Anybody who's never done it before or who tried it, and it just didn't work out, because I'm pretty satisfied with my outcome, like I'm pretty happy with how it came out, it just was a very long process. A lot of trial and error yeah, one of the items that I want to bring up now before I get to the video because you're gon na see me using it is this edge of fiber. Now at first I was like okay. What'S so special about this, it looks just like a toothbrush, but what really helped me with applying my lace was this edge right here. I didn't want to use my fingers. It was so sticky and being able to use this and rubbing off rubbing off the glue on here with alcohol made. It really easy to lay my lace down when I was making my mistakes um and also to lift it up. If I needed to go underneath and like clean it, a little bit, this edge is what makes this edge. If I her worth the money, it was ten dollars and when I purchased them it was, it was buy one get one half off. I don't know it was some kind of deal, so I got two for like less than 20 bucks, so I got the gold one and I got the silver one and it's also really good. If you just want to be cute, you know what I mean like. If you do hair a lot or if you like doing hair, you like to build up your products just like with makeup, you like to build up your brushes, you start to get better brushes. You start to get better products to me. It'S the same thing with this: you start with a toothbrush. Yes, a $ 1 toothbrush will work. It will do the same thing, but just when you're building, I feel like you're, building your kit and you're starting to get into hair a lot more. Having something like this, especially, I feel like if you're working on clients like breaking out your toothbrush like grow up soothing, but I mean you know, do you do you, but I'm just saying for ten dollars like. I think it's definitely worth it, especially because of this. This hair, let me tell Jim about this hound. This is from Belize hair. I have partnered with them before. In the past they sent me blonde hair they've sent me dark brown hair. This closure actually was a blonde closure I'll insert a clip, so you can see what color it was, but I actually had to go in and dye it. I went to Sally's and balsam dye and I had to diet, but the blue police already sells ombre blue hair. They still I'm very blue hair. They sell ombre red hair and it's super super soft, like I don't know what products they're using with their hair. But it's always so soft, no matter if it's been dyed or not, and just so you know like I'm, not just saying that because they sent me some hair, they sent me bundles and they sent me a closure, but I wanted to use a frontal. So I went and bought this frontal, like that's how serious I was about making this week for New Orleans but New Orleans, and that's why I want to try bull volte because I'm not trying to be out there looking like my wig is being back here. So I'm really gon na be testing out that boho tape. This weekend, when I go to New Orleans, they have a 10 day return policy. If you don't like the hair, your hair get shipped in three days, yes, three days because they use Phenix and I'm a week where so I've ordered from well African RPG show Aliexpress like everywhere, and their customer service has been the best customer service. I'Ve ever experienced - and this was before you know we collab. So if you want to see how I got this hair to look like this, how I got it laid after a thousand and three mistakes? How? I don't think people are being the most honest on YouTube when you're laying their wigs. I chose a life, maybe they are being honest, but I feel like it's not their first time doing it. This is legit my first time. So if you are looking to learn how to lay your lace wig using bold cold extreme cream, this is definitely the video for you. So let's get to this video, hey y'all, so of course, I'm gon na start, with my got to be glue. Basically, what you want to do is make this thing: stick to your head, so you're gon na use the gossipy glue and put it around where your edges are this kind of acts as a barrier between your edges and the hair and the other products that you're Gon na be using so I'm putting the got to be glue on the wig cap. That'S the name of it. I couldn't figure it out for the life of me and spread that all around, of course, and then spray it with the got to be glue holding spray, which is like the goat. If y'all don't know about it, sometimes you don't even need to use the glue, but I just will not glue it at the jail. I just like to be super sure, so now I'm going to blow-dry it and make sure that it gets really really dry. That way, when I go and cut the excess off of my forehead, it doesn't fold all the way back which you'll see so I'm using some super shabby scissors. I mean super shabby that the blade is horrible, so I decided to switch him out to my other shears, which, if you don't know about these perforated sheers they're cutting your lace really makes it look like it doesn't. Have that blunt cut all the way across, but I'm also using him here, because the blade is really really clean, I'm just going in and making sure that this thing is stuck to my head and that it's all the way back towards my hairline honestly, I should Have just cut this piece off of my sideburns, because it was a headache and a half and as I was wearing it, it kept lifting no matter what I did. I wish I would have just cut it off, because that was the like stickiest part of my wig, because I put so much product on it, trying to lay it down now. What I'm doing is taking that gossipy glue and putting it on the very edge of this wig cap to make sure that it is super flat to my head. One of the mistakes I made was: I did this prematurely. I should have done this after I already put the color on it, but you could see. I decided to do it first when I went and put the dry color on it and it made it curl up again. So then, when I put my lace on it, curled underneath my lace - and it was just - it was just a catastrophe, but I figured it out so fYI do this step after you've already put makeup on your wig cap, so sticky it is super sticky. So have alcohol near and dear and ready because you're gon na need it just trust me now. What I'm doing is I'm going in and just cleaning off that access glue and holding spray from my skin? So I bought this Scout protectant. This walkers got protected from Amazon. I believe it was ten dollars or so don't quote me on that, but this is so that we extreme the bold hold extreme cream. Don'T have me out here, looking like counters bonnet, so another mistake that I made was I put the wig cap on and I glued it down to my head without really measuring where the lace would hit on my forehead. So now I have this wave cap that sticks outside of my hairline of the wig, so I'm gon na have to end up going back in and cutting it here. You see what I mean when the makeup is making my wig cap or lift. I wanted to get this really pretty blue color at the top on the frontal, because this is the front row here and as you can see, the blue matches really well, and so I went to Sally's and I got some arctic fox in Poseidon and I did Two coats - I did two coats of this blue on here, so the first thing I did was, I lifted the blonde, the 6:13 blonde and it became like a baby blue color, and then I did another coat of this arctic fox in Poseidon and let it sit On there, for about 45 minutes, I also went ahead and apply some of the Arctic box to the bundles, because I wanted to make sure that they matched perfectly so here's another mistake that I made. I think people who do this all the time can go ahead and put this glue all the way across their forehead. This is not a smart idea if you're a beginner. I repeat this is not a smart idea. If you're a beginner, you're gon na end up going in and trying to fix it and it's stuck and it's just a hot mess, so I would recommend doing piece by piece by piece: do not go all the way across your forehead. I repeat: do not go all the way across your forehead watch my struggle y'all. I had glue everywhere everywhere and it was so hard trying to get it off even with alcohol and the microfiber towel. It was just. It was a lot and I think that's why it took me so long to do this so yeah. I definitely recommend doing this in sections just arrest. Here'S one thing that really made my lace look super clean. I took my bronzing powder, my contour powder, which is kind of my skin tone and weight on top of that lace, and it really helped it look super seamless, just rest yeah. I was super happy with this application and after I got through all the hustle and tussle of everything but yeah. Thank you guys for tuning into it's a golden lifestyle. I'Ll see you on the next episode.

IGL Nails: My TOP tip is to be patient and take your time! It get's easier with every application!

Alison Thomas: Great turn out. thanks for showing us relative newbies that it can sometimes be challenging. Bless you.

Life as Aisha // Sole of Kicks: How cool! I subbed to you yesterday and was like she has great video presence. I would not have the patience to do this lol! It came out beautiful though. I always see that bold hold being advertised and wondered about it. That’s such a pretty blue color. You made it look very realistic

Destiny Curtis: For anyone wondering why she had such a difficult time with the cap, she didn’t pull the cap down far enough. As a consequence, the cap didn’t even cover all her edges. (Which is detrimental bc harsh glues like bold hold and ghost bond HURT LIKE HELL when they attach to hair. Thats why you want your bald cap a little in FRONT of your hairline.) And she didn’t pull the cap down OVER her ears so she could cut ear holes and make the cap cover her sideburns. My advice: watch someone else’s video and follow it exactly. (Miss erika j, or slayed by jordan or anyone else) Im a beginner and that worked for me.

Wholistic Vegan: Wooo... that was a lot of work! It turned out nice! Love the blue!

Adira Kalon: Best application video I’ve seen as far as being real and offering tips/tricks/do’s and don‘ts
