Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen, in today's hair tricks and tips, video, I'm going to show you how to use hair beads a lot of the tutorials I do on this channel feature. Hair beats in some way from Vikings to game thrones and the 100 and some original styles. The beats that I've always borne have come from an Etsy shop called dwarven them, which is technically a beard bead shop, but the folks there just expanded and opened up a shop for a hair, bead, specifically called widdershins hair beads. So to celebrate their opening. We'Re teaming up to show you the cool things that you can do with hair beads and how to use them first off. There are lots of different sizes of needs to choose from inside diameters range from four millimeters to ten millimeters, with lots of different styles. You can use them to decorate the lengths of braids or secure the ends of braids without hair ties, securing them to unbraided hair works as well, and you can even do braided tie backs with their special double hold feed. There are a couple different ways to attach the beads as well, so you can choose the way you prefer widdershins beads come with little beading tools. You can easily thread your hair through to use these first hook your section of hair into the crook of the wire and pull through the beat then position the pin on your hair, where you want the bead to sit and slide feed over this pin to lock In place, if you use a beat with that eliminates any dead space around the hair section, this method makes the beat really secure is a little unglue side for your hair section. I like to use a clear, rubber hair elastic to bind the hair first and then slide the bead over the top of that. This provides a little more volume and friction for the bead to stay in place. Finally, if you only have the bead but no beading tool, you can still use the beads pretty effectively, in this case, braid the hair or twist up a nun, braided section of hair, so that there are minimal flyaways, then wet the end of the section with water Or your mouth and poke through the bead after that just slide the bead up over. Where you want it here, you can use a pin or a hair elastic to hold the beat in place. You can even keep the beat on without either fees. If you braid the hair and slide the beat up as high as it will go to make it really tight and that's how to use these hair beads, their range of styles and usability means that it's pretty easy to come up with lots of different things. For yourself to do with these, in fact, if you make a style featuring beads in some way and then take a picture posted to Instagram and tag me in the photo, you'll be entered into a giveaway to receive a free 5 bead kit from widdershins hair beads. Hopefully, this quick hair tips - video is helpful to you if you liked it make sure to check out Linton's hair beads Etsy page explore what you can do with these beads and then don't forget to tag me in a photo of what you come up with, so That you can be entered into the giveaway thanks for watching and see you again next time you

RoxyRocksTV: THEY ARE SUPER PRETTY!

It's ya girl Indica: Here is a tip from a pro bead wearer. Fold the bottom part of your hair in half (the whispy part that isnt braided) and it will be easier to feed to bead through the rest of your hair.

Corlainey Moore: I love your hair tutorials. My hair is shoulder length and I would love it if you made a video with beginner styles for shorter hair. I've seen a few on your channel and they came out super amazing. I would love to learn more styles. Also I really enjoy how many of the styles are fantasy and tv inspired. Thanks so much for all you do!

George Johnston: I recently bought a huge set of Viking hair beads and this was extremely helpful because my sisters either brand my hair for me because I didn't grow up doing it but none of them beaded their hair so this was extremely helpful thank you

yop mismo: Thank you for your wonderful and useful tutorial and going straight to the point! <3

Silver: If you don't have the wire, just use a tiny bit of floss. Or a (clean) floss threader, if you had/have braces.

Lilla Miko: Thank You!! Perfect for Fili's ponytail hair bead :)

Wintersmith.: Thank you! I was actually wondering how on earth do beads don't slide from hair. But now I know there's a tiny in there too! thank you <3

Spoegefugl: I am sad to say that both Widdershins Hair Beads, as well as Dwarvendom, are temporarily closed at the moment. Does anyone have a recommendation for other places to buy hair beads? Personally, I would love if they also came with those bead pins to lock it in place

Al Grace: My suggestions are Padme's hair during the lake scene, or any Clone Wars hair tutorial. These beads look so pretty!

THESnowWight: Thank you! You are so pretty and your tutorials are really helpful and clever!

jubilee3d: I've been wondering how to accomplish this. thank you so much!!!

Cara Hernandez: You are stunning! Great video! Something I would love to do for Renaissance festival when they start up again. Thank you!

KiraTheUsagii's Workshop: Oh I always did wonder how those beads would stay in place! So cool!

netchix: is it weird for a dude to use hair beads? I have long hair and I always want to do these viking styles and use beads but I am too afraid to actually go through with it.

AndroidMan: Awesome video, can't wait to try these out

Marisoph: cool! im thinking of making some clay hair beads and hope those work!

Driskoll: I have a brass beard bead. I can't remember where I got it from, but it has 4 Mjolnir's on it. Sometimes I braid it into my hair using a bobby pin, like threading a needle. I'll put the bobby pin around the hair and then pull it through the bead. Not the best way, but it works.

lina R.t: Love it

shywiz: It is not weird at all for a man or woman to use hair beads. Styling hair & dressing it up in different ways are a beautiful way for people to express themselves & their personalities. Most people can see that as “lame” but I think expressing yourself creatively through finding small hobbies such as these is a beautiful thing.

Freyja Grey: They have really cute designs but their pricing is a bit far fetched for my country. It's $12 minimum for a single bead kit. The kit of 5 costs nearly $60. :(

Lolly: I sooo need to order some of these!

Abby Rose: I got inspired and bought some beads after binging your videos

moonwolfgirls: Nice Video and now i'm so keen to get some of These beads for my hair:D

Audreaya Rose: I saw a video about this a while ago, got some beads and forgot how to style again I need one of those pins those look magical

Whitetomato27: I am SO glad to have found your channel!

TheWickedVampire: Do you have a tutorial for your hair at: 0.14 ? It's so beautiful

DiKi: I just went onto Etsy and bought hair beads... and then fell down the rabbit hole and bought hair ribbons, hair barrettes, and a hair stick. Oh no! >.<

Wouarda Azzouz: Génial Un grand merci beaucoup

technonine: Ahh etsy, the place where sending costs to europe will always be more than the product costs :+

Anna: Instead of elastic bands I use a cotton thread to sew the hair at the end of a braid, and I put the beads on while I braid them (inside the braid itself) or on top of the braid, securing them with a couple of stitches.

Karine Smith: loved that video ;thank you so much

Jol0506: Thank you!!!!

Inara die Ehrfürchtige: Where can I get these pins to push in so that there is no space that the beads can slide? I only find the beads on amazon and co

Maree Bow: Back in the day we used foil. Just foil from the kitchen will keep beads on.

umami: i'm in love with the thumbnail hair, i need a tutorial

Spencer Craig: Wow its so pretty i need to buy some

DahliaDear: Thank you for the tutorial! I was wondering what video the look at 0:17 is from? I've been looking everywhere for it! lol

Passer7by: Do you have to braid hair to use beads?

Luun: Thank you! :)

Emily Ferrier: Where do you get the hair pins/tools from to keep the beads in??

primmslim: Rad! I hope they still sell these!

aphrospice: A link to the shop in description would be helpful.

Livi Bridge: heyy! I was wondering, how you did the 100 hair style in the picture, how it looks like you wrapped braided hair around loose hair that looks ssooo awesome, and I really want to know how to do it to my hair ):

crowlovescore: I love this beads, but shipping internationally from the US is a nightmare :( tried to find some good once in europe had to look at one to many pictures of dreadlocks and gave up

Freealone (Lora Seze): I so love your videos you so do one on how to tie your hair without a hair tie or braids with a touch of your own style would be interesting

b v: for your next video can you do long john silver from black sails or bram ( when he ties a bun ) from tna?

Lakshan 97: Are hairbeads and beardbeads the same?

Cristian Santos: Where do you buy hair ornaments?

Xaforn: Would a thin crochet needle be able to slide beads onto fine hair or micro braids ?

Patrick McDermott: Im a guy and don't know how to braid my hair but would it be possible to wear the beads without braiding the hair?
