Styling Silk Scarves // Tops + Hair Accessories

Hey guys, my name is haley. Welcome to my channel or welcome back in today's video i'm going to be styling, this silk scarf. I do have a few of these, but i just use this one throughout the whole video because it is the biggest one i have so i was able to style it as tops and in my hair, and i just think that it's super cute. This is from sheen i'll link it down below. If you want it, i think it was less than like five dollars, so that's totally awesome and totally worth it if you can wear it in so many different ways. So, let's just get into the different ways that i styled it all right, so we're just gon na start with the top ideas. This first top is so easy. You literally just tie the scarf around you. I just tied it in the back and i folded it like diagonally. First, that's how i'm gon na fold it for like every single different way to style this in this video. So this gives it like a pointed look at the bottom, but you can also fold it up and that's really cute. It looks like a tube top. I still think it's best to fold it like diagonally first, because then it's longer and it can fit around you better than if you were to just fold it in half, so this next style we're using a chain or a necklace. Whatever you have. I am using this thick chain from shein. I think that this works like really good, because it's thick and you can like see it - i'm also not afraid of it like breaking i'll, make sure to link this one down below so that you guys can see it. If you want, but i'm putting half of the scarf through it and leaving the other half out and then just wrapping it around my body and tying it in the back again, this one is a little bit more revealing. But i still think that it looks cool and i think, with like high-waisted shorts or like jeans, this would be such a cute outfit. I love this style of top. Also. This is just so trendy right now. I'Ve seen so many people do this. I definitely found this idea on tic tac this next one is just like equally as revealing, so these are best for people who are like more flat, chested, i'm just tying it in the front this time and spreading it out. That'S basically all this one is this one's super easy, and i think that this one's the cutest like. I definitely like this one, the best it's just very cute, and it looks very good - and you can do this with so many different scarfs and just have like a ton of different tops very cute. This next one is the last one for the tops, i'm just using the chain again and tying the corner around it. So i'm just tying a little bit of the scarf on here so that it's like staying on here and then i'm spreading it apart and tying it around the back again. This one is the like most covering one, i think so, like the most modest. I still don't think that you'd be able to wear this like school or something because of the not having any sleeves. I don't know the rules, but i just stuck this one in two: you can do it either way. Have it like pointy at the bottom or tucked in, i think it's so cute, i'm totally a fan of this look for sure. That'S it for the tops now we're doing hair. So to start this hairstyle, i'm just putting my hair up in a bun. It'S not stained in the bun so like it doesn't matter what it looks like. I left the two front pieces out and i folded the scarf diagonally and just put it over my head and tied it around the back. This is like the most basic way to wear a scarf i've seen so many people do this. So you've probably seen this before and you probably know how to do it, but i thought i would just include it anyway, because i'm definitely a fan, and i wear this like all the time like scarves in my hair, like this, i have a few that i Love from sheen, so this is my favorite way to do it. This next one is pretty similar, i'm doing like almost the same thing, but just tying it like over on my hair, instead of like having my hair through it, it's going over my hair. I don't know if that makes any sense. This is like the pirate look like last year. I was a pirate for halloween at one point, and i remember doing this with my hair, so it just looks like this. I think that this way is cute too. I don't know if i can pull it off as well. I feel like you look goofy, but it's definitely still cute and then your hair is not in your face. So it's a good move this next one, i'm just twisting it. You can just like fold it up, but i just twisted it because it's easier and quicker, i'm just putting my hair in a ponytail, basically with just the scarf, so just tying my hair up and then putting it in a bow. So it just looks like this. You don't have to tie this into a bow. You could like just tie it in a knot again, so that it's like hanging down like the ends are like hanging down. I think that that would be cute, but i just did it in a bow and the last thing i'm doing. I think this is the last one i'm just putting my hair up in a bun. This is like a bun that should look good. I don't know my bun doesn't look that good, but this is another headband style, so i'm just folding it diagonally and then i'm like folding it up so that it's like uh. I don't know how to explain what this would be called, but i'm just tying it around my head like this, and that is basically it. It just looks like this super cute. I love it and yeah.
