Top 10 Girly-Chic Fashion Trends * Hair Clips, Silk, Puffy Sleeves And More!

Hi, ladies welcome back to another video I am so so so excited for today's video. First of all, because I have a new setup, so this is really exciting. You have to let me know whether you like it or not. Basically, we're like, on the other side of my window, and I have lots of lights going on so looks a little bit different. Let me know if you prefer the old way, the first things first, if your name here, my name is Taylor and I make videos on fashion and beauty and lifestyle, and sometimes the vlogs, and I also have an Instagram account called the fashion squirrel and I paid Post daily up an inspiration on there as well for today's video we're going to be doing my favorite girly chic fashion trends, and I feel like this is so top of mind. Right now. The change of the seasons or, at the end of the summer, going into fall. There are a lot of favorite trends that I have from the summer and I'm definitely going to be carrying into fall and I'll be doing a whole other video on fall trends, students. So stay tuned for that, but why don't you just go over some very classic any style, any season trends, so let's go ahead and get started, so the first trend is, of course, hair clips and I personally love this trend. I loved hair clips as a child, whether it was a butterflied clip, if you guys remember those or just any crazy hair clip. I had to pull my bangs back. I was obsessed, and so when I saw that this trend was coming back into style, I was more than ecstatic about it. My favorite, of course, is the Pearl hair hair clip this is, I think, the classic one that everybody has. I just think that they add such like a feminine easy touch to any look, and it's very soft and elegant as well. It just adds something fun to a look so like, for example, I could be wearing it with this dress. Just add a pearl hair club BAM and it's really inexpensive as well. I really I learned got my hair clips from Amazon. You can get them from ASOS. Every single store is putting out hair clips now. So it's a really inexpensive, easy trend to get into. I love like I said these pearl ones. You can even stack them. I got these ones from Shion. This one is just like from people free people, and then I have this like fake Gucci, one from Etsy. You can really get really fun with it and yeah. I really love this trend. The next trend is the square neckline, and this is probably one of the only 90s trends that I support, coming back into style, to be completely honest but yeah, I love the square neckline. This is really great for summer because you have your chest is open, and so you can get. You know it's an air up here, but it's also great going into fall as well with maybe a darker color. If you are a fuller, busted, lady, like myself, this can be a very flattering look because it just sort of goes straight over you and you don't have to worry about too much cleavage or anything like that. So I love it. For that reason, the next trend is hair, scarves or hair ribbons. Now I absolutely love this trend, whether it's tying it in a bow into your hair or tying it around as a headband or even tying it on at the top of your handbag, there's just so many ways to wear these scarves. It just really adds a touch of glamour to any look. You could pair it with a pretty little top or a nice dress, even with some white sneakers. They got that vintage vibe that we all love my favorite way to wear a hair scarf is in a bow in a high ponytail or around Christmastime. I love just using maybe like a black ribbon and tying bat in my hair. I just think that it's so cute and there's so many different things that you can do with it. The next trend - and this is one of my favorites - are padded headbands, and this reminds me of as a very reminiscent Gossip Girl lover. This is a total Blair. Waldorf comeback. I love the padded headband I feel like it adds such an unexpected chic princessy vibe, and because this time is a little bit out there literally when you're wearing this headband, it kind of pops up like this, not everyone is going to try it. So you can really stand out by being the one to try this trend. I really love the headband vibe in general. For me, I really like adding something different to my hair, rather than just wearing it down like every day. I think that it just adds a really easy accessory to your outfit and, like I said it, this really chic mine that I have is just from Etsy le but linked down below, along with everything else that I am mentioning here. But it is a velvet very soft headband, with a pretty embroidered white pattern on the sentence on the inside, so yeah it's really cute. The next trend is puffy sleeves and I couldn't be happier about this trend. I feel like it makes any outfit look more stylish. More fashionable and it's just a cute, I love having like a puffy sleeve it like it just gives that total girly like feminine princessy vibe. This is a trend that obviously was really big in summer, but I feel like we can also totally carry into fall just with maybe a different shade of white, maybe more of a cream or a pink. Also, I feel like this trend could look really expensive. I feel like a lot of cheaper. Looking outfits are kind of, like you know the fabric isn't as nice, but for some reason, with a puffy sleeve, it just makes it look a little bit more a little bit more put together and it can be a very, very sweet sort of a look, and I absolutely love it. This top here is from Zara it's white with black polka dot. Puffy sleeves, you might have seen it in another video of mine and just become a favorite along with any other top, and a puffy sleeve along that same trend would be balloon. Sleeves which, when we're thinking about going into fall, I love the balloon sleeves on a nice sweater and maybe pairing that with a miniskirt there's just so many ways that you can wear the puffy sleeve dress. The next trend that I love is straw bags and these can be really cute, whether it's a square bag, a round straw rat bag, whether it's small, whether it's big, maybe it has a cool straw pattern on it. These add a very nice kind of chic but natural look to any outfit, especially in the summer when I see straw bags. That makes me think of like just frolicking and like the English countryside or the South of France, or something really really nice. But I feel like these can be paired with so many things, whether it's a pretty dress. I like this one or just with a cute outfit. You could wear it to a picnic or say you know with these last warm days left, but you can also take it to the beach. It really can be worn in so many different situations, and it just adds a little interesting touch to an outfit mine again. Is from Amazon the thing that drew me to it was inside it. Has this really cute kind of white and pink floral pattern, which just makes me think is like a happy picnicky sunny day and yeah. I love the straw back, try to make it so cute. The next trend is strappy sandals and I swear when I first saw this trend of like, and I'm really not so sure about that. The kind of that I'm talking about are those like 90 is reminiscent, like kitten heel, little straps with a square toe trend. These ones are from Zara, I one is on my Instagram and so many of their girls will comment and say they have the exact same shoes, but once I finally gave in I realized that these go with everything and I have been pairing them with every outfit. Whether it's with dresses with skirts with jeans, literally everything, I've just been carrying these with the thing that I love about them, is, you feel done up like you're wearing heels, but you're not committing to the full heel, you're just wearing a little bit of the heel. It'S like a little kitten, you know and I don't love the kitten heel trend. I do not like the kid and heel trend, but on a strappy sandal like this one, I do think that it works. The next trend is white believes like white ink boots. I have to tell you I have tried to get these so many times I was actually at a sample sale. I saw there was only one pair of the perfect pair of white boots and they were only in my thighs and I went in. I picked them up, I was so excited and then I found that it was hard to carry them when I was trying to dig through everything awful smell, so I put them down and I really regret that because the second I did, another girl came up she's On the boots - and she was so excited that they were her size also and she took them and that was like over a year ago and still to this day, I'm like. Why did I put the tone? They were the perfect pair of white boots and since that I have not been able to find them. I don't even know what brand they were. It all happened so quickly, but anyways. I then tried ordering another pair white food, its rim, a so they came in the heel, is too chunky. You know, and I mean it's hard to find a nice pair. Currently, I have a pair in the mail on the way from pretty little thing, I'm really crossing my fingers that they work, but thinking about going into fall, as you guys know, I have a really really girly feminine style, so it's very like light weight and when It comes to fall. I really don't want to give that up. I don't want to have to start wearing like okay, it's winter and fall now. I have to wear dark colors. I don't think that that necessarily has to be true. I think, especially with the white booty you're covered up you're warm as long as you're not wearing completely. It'S like too pastel a springy other outfit pieces with it. It'S totally fine and once I get them I'll, be posting signed examples of that on my Instagram, which again is the fashion squirrel. You should follow, but anyways yeah, white booties is a trend that I love. I feel like. I just love the look of white shoes in general. I feel like it adds just like a pop and it can really really look chic. I'Ve done correctly. The next trends that I absolutely love is talked handle bags and I have one here. I just I just love this bag. You might have seen this in my wedding, my Chanel bag video, but I just think that it's so cute to wear a bag on the crook of your arm. It'S very chic, very classy. Looking I pearl, I'm someone who so I'm 26 years old and I get mistaken for like a 16 year old. If I'm not dressed, chic, I'm not kidding you so um so yeah. So I'm trying to find more ways to incorporate kind of like a mature feminine style, because I am getting kind of close to my 30s. So I definitely want to look closer to 30 than I am 20 and just fresh out of college. Because, since working in New York City, as you guys know for a of yours, I feel like I'm, you know work in an office every day and I'm definitely not that, like childish, college state anymore. So I think it's important for all of us to just kind of try to incorporate that into our style and make it look a little bit more. Enjoy not more chic' more put together or like you've, got your life in line and that, for me, all the fat somehow ties into top handle backs, but I just think that they can like really nice, a lovely structured bag. I have my eye on a Prada one. It'S obviously way out of reach for paint, but yeah top handle bags such a great trend and then the last and final trend is silk and again, like all of these trends, I said this for every single one. Absolutely obsessed: this is a silk top that I got from Zara. I just feel like: silk can be really chic really cute, if done correctly again always has to be done correctly, but yeah. I just think that it's like very soft, very feminine, the chic kind of tops and dresses. They like the slip, dress our variaties again. For me, I know last year for my birthday, when I turned 26, I was like I don't care what I'm doing for my birthday. All I want is to wear this like green chic, like silky slip, dress, and it was so cute. I hope that this is a trend that stays for a while, because it is just so nice and well. You know when you're thinking about nice quality fabrics. I definitely think that slope is one of them. Broader trend. Wise silk is very trendy when it comes to the beauty industry, because we ought to sleep on a silk pillow, because it's better for our skin and better for our hair. We wake up looking much better in the morning, I'm about to invest in some silk scrunchies. Also so that my hair can look better when I wake up in morning is right now yeah, so that is it.
