Hey guys it's Maria Antoinette today, I am going to be using embroidery strings to add in color and texture to your hair. Without a commitment, all you're going to need for this project is embroidery, string and scissors. Alright guys I had to go and get my friend Danielle, because when I really started to think about it, it wouldn't make sense for me to do it on my own here, because I have my hair and locks and that's super easy. I want to make sure you guys know every step just in case you're. Here is an embrace or lots already. So let's get started so I section out a part of her hair and I put the rest up and out of the way, I'm basically going to do. A single braid take three legs and you plat it down from the roots to the ends of her hair. You want to make sure you don't have any loose hairs getting caught in the braid, so when you get done wrapping it doesn't cause any of that tenderness or pulling. I know you know what I mean a really good tip when your hair is super straight and you can't get it to stay inside of the braid. You can do it with your hair damp or you can do it with a little bit of hairspray and it to give you enough texture to be able to plant your hair, this small in for it to say when you get to the ends of your hair. Some people might need an elastic. Her hair didn't need it. So I'm not going to put one on there, but it's okay to put an elastic. You can always pull it off when it comes time to wrapping it in so, with my string cut, I'm going to take the loop in and I'm going to put it around the base of the braid and I'm going to do one single nut just like that And then I'm going to take that short tail, I'm going to hold it going down the braid and I'm going to start wrapping the longer tail around the base of the braid right underneath where we started the nut and as you're wrapping it around. You want to pull it on okay, so once you get to a length that you like you're, going to simply do another single knot, secure that down and you're going to let the string fall down with the braid now you're going to grab your next color, I'm Going to get your next piece prepped and we're going to follow the same concept, we're going to wrap it around and we're going to do a single nut, we're going to drop that tail of that down into the braid and we're going to begin to wrap it. Just like we did with the orange okay, so I just finished and I'm not at the end of the piece. Now I'm going to take what I had hanging down and I'm going to just start wrapping it, because it's already attached through the length of all of these wraps, you don't have to secure it with a knot. You can just start wrapping right from this point. All right guys we're almost to the end really cool thing about letting the embroidery string hang down with the braid. Is that when you get to the ends of your here, where it kind of tapers down, naturally, it assures that your ends are covered, and it just makes it such an easy transition without having a get too thin, because the embroidery steering starts to fill in where It'S tapered I like to wrap past the ends of the hair. This way, when I do the final knot when she goes to take this out, all she has to do is clip that final night and she knows she's not cutting her hair. Another cool way to add some more texture and accent is take two colors in each one of your legs and play to end the end of your braiding part. We'Re going to take the long piece of string and we're going to not bet off. Do it twice for good measure and then we're going to clip it? How cute is this so pretty? How do you guys think it's her now good right make sure if you try this, that you tag htpb, handmade and comment down below. I would love to hear some of your color combinations that you would use on your hair like is there anybody out there who's a brunette dark hair blonde? Maybe you have a custom fun color? What are some of the embroidery combinations that you would do on your hair anyway? I hope you enjoyed the video and I will see you in the next one. Bye

Margery P: This is a nice way to do them. Traditionally you would keep all of the colors in the wrap but it will make it bulky. Doing the thread individually stops that. Great idea and great video.

Kels Turc: This was the most helpful, simply explained video I’ve seen on this technique. Thank you! ✨

Leilani Allen: I really wanna do this again, I did it as a kid all the time.

Alex Green: Watching this was like a fun flashback to summer camp. Thanks

Tamara LupPlace: I loved getting these as a kid!!! now I know how to do them and can do them on my girls!! (I have 3)yay!!!!

Lauren Waite: This is the best tutorial I've seen thank you

Jenn N: WOAH this is a throwback to my summer camp days. We used to start all of the colors at the top at once and do sections of single colors and sections swirled together, but I haven't thought about these in forever.

just me: LOVE this idea! Thank u

Sofia Scaesteanu: I just got two wraps last week!

Julie Noel: that would be super cute in wedding colors for bridesmaids and maid of honor

Yvette Roberts: Great share; thank you! I am sharing this video today.

Lily Irving: Oh I remember getting this done when I was on holiday when I was wee. Only thing was it was a nightmare to get out because I left it in for so long and was washing my hair with it in.

maddie: This looks really fun and I’m having a friend over so I might just do it with her

~Ariella Capo~: This is so easy all the other ones were so long it's so cute 2

Jaina Johnson: Fun idea im definetly gonna try this

Nancy Machado: Going to do it on my granddaughters hair

CarlaM: SO cute!  Independence Day is coming up --- red, white & blue!!!!

Small- town in Australia: look great and so easy.

Lauren Waite: I would do white and blue for brunette

jaynee houlihan: How long do they last and do you just wash your hair normally and just make sure to really dry that strand so it don't keep the moisture?

Katyana Livingston: How do you take them out

Lyon Still: Super cute but I'd like to know how long it took to do.
