Naturally, I'm out of here you want to talk to you about how to decorate your faux locs with these little gold accessories. If you don't know how and also I'm going to be showing you how to wrap braiding cord around your faux locs to create some really cool little accents to your locs, also, some people may not know about these little things right here throughout my hair. So I just want to explain on how to do it and just show you how you can spice up your locs and just make them look more unique. More your own make you look more bohemian or tribal or like you're straight out of Jamaica or the motherland, or something or make you look more. You know exotic like this is an exotic hairstyle, so I think adding these little accents just really adds to the flare of faux locs, and I think it's like necessary to just add something to them. If you're gon na do so locs you might as well just really go all out. I really think that that's all I have to say so if you are interested in seeing how to decorate faux locs or if you have real luxe how to decorate them, you know what to do just please stay tuned. So, first off I'm going to talk to you guys about these gold hair accessories. These are hair accessories that I got from my local Beauty Supply. As you can see, they are only $ 1.99 and this one has 34 pieces in it. You can find these at your local Beauty Supply, like I said, or you can find these on websites like Sam's Beauty, calm, which is where I got these goddess locks from these are what I always use to decorate my locs. So I just want to show you guys how to do it. These things do after a while, you do need to change them out. We might not real gold, of course, so they might start. Turning on you and looking like gray and dingy and ugly, so you might, if you're, wearing your full locs for weeks on in you're, going to have to probably change these out. So that's why I bought two packs. This is my second pack, so I'm going to go ahead and open this, so basically these have a little clasp on the back and it's very simple. All you do is open that clasp up as you can see, I did right there. Now, it's open all you're gon na do is you know, decide where you want to put it in your hair. I like putting them in different intervals like some like right here. I have some at the top. I have some down here. I have one right here at the very very bottom, so just putting them at different intervals throughout your hair. You can add a lot or you can just add a few. So I'm going to put this one. I don't have any really in the front right here, so I'm just gon na put this one right here. So basically the clasp is open, so I'm just going to put it on the lock and then squeeze it shut and that's basically it I'm going to take another one here and then put it in the back of my head. I'M just going to find a nice a good place to put one of these fill around this one doesn't have one. So I'm going to add it to this one and I'm just going to put it put it around here: squeeze it shut and there we go. So I don't want to add too many to my hair, because I think I have a good amount right now and I just wanted to show you guys a couple next, I'm going to show you how to add braiding cord to your hair. This is very, very cute and I have waited on adding this to my hair until I could film this video for you guys. So that's why I don't only have one right now, and this is what it looks like. So it's really cool like it's really different. I really like that, and it's just like a little accent, see it's like a little accident hanging right there on my head. You can get this at Walmart, it's just called natural braiding cord. I guess you can create. Oh, you says you can use it for pony beads, I guess to add beads. I don't know really it's in the arts and crafts section. I don't know what you really use this for, but, as you can see, it has three different colors, so you can decide which color you want to put in your hair. I'M gon na use this one because I'm not gon na add like different colors to my hair, I'm just gon na focus on this top like tan color, and you want to get a string. That'S like fairly long like pretty long. This is what I have is like it's pretty long. I would say over, it's definitely over a foot long, so I'm just gon na you know just eyeball. It just make sure it's pretty long and if it's too long, that's okay, because you can just cut it and make it shorter. So I'm just gon na go ahead and take my scissors and cut this off. I want to do one starting at the very top of my hair, so I'm gon na take one strand that does not have any of the other things on it. So you're gon na take the braiding cord, like you are going to tie a knot, but we're really not going to we're just going to make that first little circle and then pull that end piece through just like that. So it's just like we. So we can move it, we can still, you know, manipulate how tight and how loose it is, but we want to do that so we can tighten it on the folo, so I'm going to take the faux log make sure that little hole is big enough. So I can fit my full lock through it. The goddess lock through I'm gon na bring it all the way to the top, because that's where I want this one to be. That'S where I want this braiding cord to be, then I'm just gon na tighten it on there and then I'm just gon na go ahead and finish that knot. We have this extra piece right here, but we're not gon na worry about that, because we're gon na cut it off later now. All you're gon na do is basically wrap this the length of the braiding cord down the folk goddess. Look so you're not going to wrap it all the way down, because once you get to like, I would say, half way, I'm gon na go ahead and wrap it one more time. Now I'm going to go back up and that's what makes like a weaving pattern. It makes it look like intricate when you wrap it back up and it really once again, it really doesn't matter like where it goes. You can really look at it if you want to see where you want it to go, but I'm just wrapping it around. If you see like a huge gap or anything like that, you can take it back in that spot, but mine. I like the way it looks. Oh it's looking pretty good, so I'm just gon na meet. Basically, I'm wrapping it back up to meet the knot at the top now we're back at the top, so I'm just going to take. This is the excess cord from the first night that we made, and this is the cord that I wrapped up down and then back up the length of the fogatas lot. So now I'm just going to tie those two together you're making that so I made the knot and, as you can see, we still have these two long ugly pieces that are missing everything good, so we're just gon na cut them off, don't cut the thread. Just get as close to the dread as you can without actually cutting it and, as you can see, we have a another little cool, weaved, braiding, cord peace in our faux dreadlocks. So I have one I have one down here and now I have one over here and I like the way that looks that's cute. I think I also want to do some braiding cord on this one, because it's right in the front, so I have the piece on the foe lock. I think I want to start it about midway down, so I'm tightening the braiding part on the full lock and I'm just going to go ahead and pull the length that's remaining through. Tighten that again there we go got that long piece waiting for us when we come back. So let's go ahead and wrap this down. We'Re gon na wrap it up. I'M going to go ahead and tie these two together and I think that's all the accessories that I'm gon na do, but, as you can see, it looks really really cool, really accessorized and I really really like it. I think three is good enough. I might do one more, but not right now, because my camera is about to die if you did in fact enjoy this video. Please give me a big thumbs up and please subscribe. If you haven't already and I'll see you guys in my next video bye, bye, heaven
