How To Make Bling! Bling! Hairclips

Who doesn't love bling? I have seen these hairclips in salons and other specialty shops. I loved them, but I didn't love their "Specialty Price" Yes, I admit I love to save money. Use this tutorial and make your own blinged out hair clips. You will spend a small fraction of what you would to buy them. Plus you'll have fun. Use caution if you allowing children to help put these together. You will need:

Metal hair clips, E6000 Glue, Rhinestones, Gemstone holder (optional)

Hello, everyone - this is Yolanda from the all crafts Channel, and today's tutorial is a fast and quick easy one we're going to be making taking these little hair clips that you could buy like at the Hobby Lobby. I guess they have them at Michael's. I bought these at a store if you live in Chula Vista, California, it's located on Broadway and Palomar, it's right across from Michaels, and the only reason I got them. There is because you get like even 12. These were 12 for a dollar and then they have all kinds of different slices. So this is I like these because they have these little teeth. So once you put it on your hair, it's gon na stay there. These are the little crystals that I use on. My granddaughter's shoes I bought these at Joanne's and let me see if I can move away here. They are by Darcy Darcy or Darice company and they're just rhinestones. This is a seven millimeter round stones. They have different sizes. I like this branch, because they stay really clear and crisp. They don't get opaque or yucky, and so this is still a little bit wet, but once it dries it is not going to come off. You could also use this same glue to put on the gemstones and rhinestones on shoes or, like your high heels, you could also put those little nail head or studs spikes. I'M gon na be using this e6000 glue. You could also buy this at Michael's Joanne's, any Hobby Lobby Walmart has it, and this is industrial glue. You want to open your windows because it just kind of can tend to smell a little bit strong. This is just easy to do. I hope you'll enjoy it. Let'S get the party start, okay, everyone to begin. I'M gon na get one of my clips here. I'Ve already wiped this off just with a cloth to make sure it doesn't have oil or different things like that. I took taken I've taken out some other little rhinestones here out of my package. I'M gon na get the e6000 glue. I had this little tool that opens up and then it grabs the rhinestones like that, so that I could place them. You don't have to have that they sell that at the beach shops. I got it at Joanne's with that 50 % off coupon. If you don't have that, you could use your tweezers that you're not using anymore because of the glue so now I'm gon na do is open this glue. It smells kind of strong. This is like superfast project, okay, so first, I'm just gon na use work with my left hand. I put this with the right hand on here. I'M just gon na put just a bead of glue across the top of my little clip. This dries clear. So there's not gon na be any white ugly stuff on there. I start from the tip out and just get a rhinestone put it on there and once it starts drawing it is going to go oops. It is going to be super hard. It will not come off once you put it on, it's still wet it's wet for a while, so you could kind of move it around and that's it I'm just gon na put them across here. I could grab I'm trying to reach over the camera guy. So oh geez, I just did a bunch of these when I was at home to camera, and it was going really well so there's my next one just go down next to each other. If you want to put them a little bit apart, if you put them apart, remember the metal is gon na show underneath. So I don't like the middle it'll show, so I'm just gon na kind of slide it where I want it to go right there and you don't want to get any glue on the rhinestone, because you don't wan na um get a dog all those these runs. Those are pretty good see, so that's all I'm doing here if I could get, can we get closer sorry about that somebody's outside working? Not for me, so this is god. This looks really nice when the light hits it especially. Will you wear them in the evening or just for little girls, anybody really little girls, big girls, it's gon na look really pretty on you easy to do quick and easy. You do. I do let them dry like 24 hours, there's a little Ridge on here. So I like to kind of move them a little bit. It'S just not getting on that Ridge and sorry guys. Am I getting out of the focus there. We get another one here and I'll probably be able to fit one more in. There got two of them. There scoot these over a little bit, so they could already reach and kind of I line them there. I just want to make sure they're like an even row, and that is it now remember to put these to dry. Like I let my hands dry for 24 hours, it says that it needs. I guess, four to six hours, I'm gon na. Let my pins I made a set of these when you go to the store, they're really expensive, these um these little hair pins, I guess because they have the little rhinestones. This is not the Swarovski or Sabarsky I don't on set, but these are just you could even just see it here. Just from this light, sorry guys, the camera, I'm still learning how to use it. So that's all you do and you got a really shiny, blingy. Hairpiece, it's easy to do, kids could do it, but you you want to be careful, because the glue is very smells very strong.
