Hey everyone welcome to my channel. My name is lauren, and today i'm going to be filming for you claw clip hairstyles for thick hair. So i did do a previous video showing all the different types of claw clip hairstyles that i like to use. But i did get a lot of requests for people who have thick hair and how do you style your hair? If you have thick hair and you want to use a clock lid, so that's what i'm going to show you in this video. So the number one thing that i highly recommend is purchasing a jumbo claw clip these ones i purchased on amazon. They will be linked below um, but something like this is perfect, because they're really long, they have a really good grip. I just added some extensions to my hair for volume. That way, i can kind of show exactly how these clips will fit with someone who has really thick hair. So let's get started before i get started. I just want to say: please don't forget to subscribe to my channel and if you enjoyed this video, please give it a thumbs up. Okay, so the first style that i'm going to do is a typical french twist. So when you have super thick hair, i'm just going to put it out there. It is super hard to be creative with a lot of styles when it comes to claw clips, because there's only so much uh hair that a clip can hold so just bear with me. But i am going to show you the cutest and the best ways that i think will work. So. First, i like to just pull out the pieces of my hair, the front pieces and then we're gon na just go ahead and we're gon na just smooth out the hair into a low pony. Once you have the hair all smoothed out, um you're going to want to have your clip handy and then we're going to take the hair here and we're just going to twist it super tight like this. One is going to be tight, so we're going to twist as tight as we can once you have the hair twisted super tight. Just like this we're going to just leave the ends out like this. So if your hair is super long, you can even push it down more or pull it out more, however length your hair is, then we're going to take the jumbo clip and we're just going to clip it on just like that and leave out these little hairs At the top, so the next look that we're going to do is something pretty similar. However, we're going to not leave out any hair at the top, so let's gather the hair and you could either leave out pieces in the front if you would like - or you don't have to up to you - i'm gon na go ahead and leave out some similar. Now, to what i did before, i am going to go ahead and full on twist the hair. This time, though, instead of leaving the hair out, i'm going to twist again and kind of bring it down if your hair is shorter, then you probably won't have to do this. But if you have longer hair you're going to have to fold the hair again that way, you don't have any hair sticking out at the top. Then we're going to go ahead and take the clip and clip it on okay. So now you can go ahead and pull out some any extra hair if you want okay. So now, this next technique is probably like my favorite go-to. It'S so easy for me to just do really fast. I know it seems a little complicated, but i just think it's the best way that gathers all the hair and that just keeps it staying. So i will show you how we do it. I did use this technique in my last video and so in this video. I really wanted to include it because i just love this technique so much and it definitely can be used for thick hair. So i'll show you how to do it. So if your hair is really long, you're going to really want to try and start more at the bottom, so that way, there's less hair hanging over okay. So now we're going to gather the hair this time instead of kind of instead of bringing it all the way to my neck, i'm going to kind of just go up an inch um. You can kind of go up or down like. I said, however long your hair is, or whatever you feel comfortable doing and we're going to start twisting as we're twisting we're going to take this hand and we're going to bring it underneath just like this, and then we're going to bring it back up again. This is great because it really gets the hair folded under and so that there's no hair on top. So once we have the hair all folded under we're, going to take the clip and we're just going to go ahead and clip this whole thing, i'm going to go ahead and pull out some hair. You can make it messy. You can leave it as is so from the front. It kind of looks like you have a little bun, but then you turn and you're like. Oh okay, she's got a cloth clip in there. So now we are going to do the last and final style um. This one is definitely one of my favorites. I just really like the way it looks, and i think it looks super cute and a little bit messy and definitely it gives you that effortless look, which i love about the clock clip styles. So, let's get started. We are going to go ahead. Take the hair again gather it at the base of your neck um. You can either not leave hair out or you can leave hair out. I kind of like to do this like little messy. Look with it. First, i'm going to just take out some hair twist again, but this time, instead of twisting a lot we're just going to kind of bring it up and then fold the rest of the hair over just like that, then we're going to take the claw clip and We'Re just going to clip it onto that. This gives you that, like really effortless, missy type of look, which i love, so you can go ahead and pull out some more hair or you can kind of keep it, as is, however, you want um yeah and there you go. S S: I think you should put a little more effort into hiding the hair into the clip. It looks messy with a long piece of hair hanging out of the clip and you should brush the lose hair in.
