Dollar Tree Haul | Mermaids, Cacti, & Hair Accessories

It has been a long time since I have filmed a Dollar Tree video, so I am super excited to be back. My last series, my channel and on my blog, was about my trip to Pawhuska Oklahoma and kind of doing a Pioneer Woman tour of Pawhuska Oklahoma. So that was a great time. It was really fun to relive those memories through all the different video that I had, but I am excited to be back because I've got a lot of bags here, which means one thing I have a lot of stuff from the Dollar Tree to show you guys Today so let's get into it, so you will notice that my schedule and posting and whatnot is going to be a lot different. I just started on my MBA this past week, so I've been in the program now for a full week. It'S a lot! It'S a lot of work. It'S a lot of time, so I'm just trying to figure out how to balance this schedule with my blog posts and videos with also my school schedule and my full time job. It'S a lot but we'll get there. But one of the first things I got was this folder. You can't really see it that well, but it just has a bunch of arrows. I am really into arrows because I want to get a compass tattoo on my wrist and my mom is gon na. Listen to this and be like no, but I really want to get a compass tattoo on my wrist with the arrows and then not include like the west and east and south and just put the end for north, just because northern Wisconsin really is my home. But anyways that was a long tangent, but this folder was a buck. I thought it would be nice if I need to store things for school. I won't really be printing a whole lot, so I don't know I'll get use out of it, but I can also use it at work too. If I need it some more school supplies, so I just thought a happy planner, I'm not really big into planners, but I knew I was gon na need one for school and filming videos and also just managing my work and life and all that um. So I bought it's a relatively expensive planner, but I didn't want to buy expensive, planner stickers, so I found these from my Dollar Tree, so you can kind of see, there's going to be a glare on that, but there's a ton of stickers there's some on the Back too and there's five hundred or three hundred per pack, I wonder if others know they all say three hundred, so I don't know if I needed all three of these, but I thought it was gon na be kind of nice to have in my planner and Also help me stay motivated and staying organized in the last two items I don't want to bore. You are some sticky notes, just a bunch of different colors, there's 250 in here, and then I also got some highlighters. So just added a few items. If I don't use it all in my school I'll, just bring it to work and use them at work so nice to have, and then this is kind of funny so Nick and I drove up north a lot in the summer almost every single weekend. So it gets to be very boring because it's about a three and a half hour drive on a normal day, so I've bought this roadside bingo for whoever's in the passenger seat would kind of switch off who drives which time. But this is really cool because it just like has all these random things that you see on your way to destination. So I don't know I thought it would keep us occupied on our long travels in the summertime, and then I bought a little diffuser. That has my hair on it. Somehow this is a sage and citrus reed diffuser. I got the ones around Christmas that they had. They don't they're, not that fragrant. So I'm hoping that this one is a little bit more fragrant because sage and citrus are both very fragrant scent. It'S usually some hoping this actually smells my cubicle area and makes it just smell a little nicer, but I don't know sometimes they're also just a nice little touch to have in your office space and then the last item in this bag is these fishing socks. So Nick is super into fishing these days and I picked these up because I thought he would really enjoy them. So they're perfect for summertime he'll definitely wear these and he definitely got a kick out of them done with big one. So keeping with the theme of socks, I got a two pack of socks for myself, so there's just like white and gray and black floral set in the first in the front of the pack and then there's this like striped black-and-white pack in the back they're. Not the thickest socks ever, but I'm a sock person and I sleep with socks on which I think a lot of people are gon na. Think of me different after that statement, but I love socks. I'M currently wearing Santa socks right now, but I go through socks. So often because I wear them constantly, so it's just nice to have a few more pairs when you know your dryer somehow eats yet another sock and then one last pair of socks. So actually, the Santos socks that I'm wearing are very similar to this and I love them, so you can't really tell, but this is, this white part is a completely different material and it's actually like a nice fuzzy sock. So I really love these Santa socks. Hence why I'm wearing them in the middle of summer and wanted to pick these up, because I've liked my Santa one so much they had the bunny a cat, a dog. I think there was another one, but I thought these are the cutest. Oh, I am the worst daughter with school and everything I really struggled to just wrap my mind around everything and did not get my dad a Father's Day card in time for Father's Day and we made a last-minute trip up north last weekend for Father's Day. So just was not prepared, but Dollar Tree had their cards yet for Father's Day, and I thought this was really nice. They just have great cards there for all occasions, so it just says I'm so thankful you're my dad happy Father's Day and then it just does the same thing on the inside. So I was very happy to see that they had that stuff yet and then I found this glasses keys, so you can kind of see it there. It'S like a watercolor cactus, and then it has like that nice opening like where it just shuts itself because of the plastic pizza pieces on the inside. It'S actually like a really nice vinyl material. So this is great for summer. I always have a bunch of crappy sunglasses, but I still like to keep them something well protective and I'm throwing them in my backpack or my suitcase when I'm going up north and then I found these napkins, they have a seashell on them. I'Ll probably put these around lunch, I also have a palm frond napkin that looks just like this from the dollar store, so I just got up to grab the palm frond as well. How cute are these so they also pineapple on, and I think they have a forest one as well, but there's only ten in here about how cute, like that's gold, foil, how cute would that be for a bridal shower a baby shower all of the above. I don't know I thought these are adorable and we'll probably just put on my lunches as like a little pick-me-up, sometimes so. The next item I kind of want to follow up with another item that I have purchased, but look at this. It is a mermaid ring dish. How cool is that it's not showing up as like accurate in color as I would like, but it is so cute. So I was really excited to see this. I think at some point I'm gon na have a mermaid themed bathroom. So you could even you almost use this as a soap dish. It'S that big so for a buck ceramic could not pass it up. This next item also rocked my world. It is the matching just ceramic mermaid tail. It is huge, like you, can't, even tell how big it is. It'S the size of my hand, and it's so pretty it's this nice green. Like light green aquamarine, I love it, so I don't know again not sure what I'm gon na do with it. But how cute would these be? If you have like a nautical themed bathroom so cute, they had like a pearlescent white and a pink, and I don't remember what the other Claire was, but for a buck, I'm all about it, and then I kind of resist this. I don't know what I'm going to do with all these ring dishes. I bought this one before I saw the mermaid wanted. Obviously you know I had to buy that mermaid one. So this one is really cute. It has little eyelashes and the Stars, and that says good night like I said, I'm not exactly sure what I'll do this, but I might have one like this. One would be great for bobby pins cuz, it's long enough and I just throw my bobby pins in my little ring dish at the end of the night, and then this one could go on my vanity just for all their items. I was gon na, say you. If you're an eyelash wear like the false lash kind, you could definitely use this to hold your lashes. That would be really cute, but I thought that that was adorable. Hey number two is done. I bought some tape. They have a 2-pack of scotch tape to wrap my dad's gift in so not exciting item, but the days and some facial wipes I'm almost out of my watermelon mint facial wipes from bolero and really sad, because that scent is awesome and I loved it. But this one is French, lavender and citrus, so hopefully they'll come out with some new makeup wipes, but I'm glad that I have a backup pack for when my current pack runs out and then over Nicholas was actually Father's Day item we saw this previously, but I Had to get it this little fishing sign with fishing rules, says fishing rules number one bait, your own hook number two. Only fish Sunday's that end with y three good things come to those who wait and for when in doubt exaggerate. So this would be fun with the hang up in our garage or even put in the garage. We have up north super cute, it's metal - and it's just perfect for this time of year for us and then last, but certainly not least, I got this this little headband, so it's gon na be hard to see, but it's this beautiful headband, it's like rhinestone and It'S kind of not braided, but there it's like woven so basically what's in this is the headband itself and then this little roll that you like roll your hair up into, and I can kind of show you and the front like what it's supposed to look like Altogether, so I don't know, there's step-by-step directions on how to use it. I have a very challenging hair because it's very heavy - and it's very thick so we'll see if this actually works. But if you have a wedding coming up and you're trying to figure out what to do with your hair, I mean this is a dollar it's worth a shot, even just for the headband and not the roll, that's also included. I would give this a shot and see if it works. For you I mean it was a dollar. So if you're, if you're struggling, I would go check your local dollar tree and it might even have more style to this. This is the only one the head at my store, but if you already make this up just make sure that you look closely at the rhinestones that you can see, because there were a few of these headbands that were missing a couple of rhinestones. And it's not obvious because this is all silver, but just something to make note of if you are looking to pick this up. So it looks like that's everything that I got. I feel like. I just talked really fast, but I'm really excited to be back and have all these amazing items I'm back to being addicted to the Dollar Tree, not that I ever really stopped, but I didn't have a whole lot of time to go yeah.
