Hey guys welcome back to how to live your style. Today we are continuing our awesome series of spring cleaning bathroom makeover. If you missed our first video, we showed you guys how to hide and beautify some of those really common bathroom eyesores. If you want to see that video I'm going to link it somewhere over here, probably and definitely below so check that one out today is part two and today we are going to show you how to solve another, really common problem. I don't know about you, but if you use a blow dryer or a curling iron or a straightening iron, you probably have this issue. If you have a small bathroom, you can't really put it all out there on your counter. You'Ve got no room for your makeup. You'Re burning yourself with the hot tools and you can't store them right away because you don't want to burn your shelf up or your drawer rather because they're hot and you need a place to store them. Let them cool! So I told Grayson about this problem and we came up with the solution. It all started at a hardware store we needed something that wouldn't burn and wouldn't melt so Grayson headed straight for the metal ducting section. We found these three inch adjustable ducting elbows. That seemed perfect for what we needed. We came up with a plan and headed back now here you can see I've already screwed to the ducting elbows together now I just have to drill the holes, but the third one I mark, where I need the hole with an awl and drilled the hole. Then I do the same thing to the other side and screw it together. Unfortunately, the screw point sticks out a little bit and could scratch up the hairdryer. So I'm going to cut some strips of metal ducting tape to cover over the screws. Now I would recommend using rivets or even little, nuts and bolts, but I didn't have any with me, so this will suffice once they were all screwed in together and taped off on the inside. I painted them with this really pretty fresh powder blue color. I know I know I should have been wearing a face mask, but I didn't have one on hand. So I promise I just held my breath, but for you guys, I would recommend that you guys have a mask or something when you're doing this. That way, you don't inhale all the paint. I love this color. I think it's really fresh, really clean and it's not too bright, so you won't get sick of it once it was all finished drying. I screwed it straight to the wall, one screw at the top and one at the bottom and sorry for the shaky footage, nice and tight. Now she has somewhere to put her hot hair tools, while they're cooling, without taking up any counter space and without putting them on anything, that's going to burn or melt problem solved. So there you have it problem solved. How amazing is this? Not only is it functional, but it is so pretty. I love the colors love how it contrasts, and it's pretty simple now, if you guys liked this video just wait until next week, because we are going to show you guys how to creatively store and another beautiful way has to do this hair and makeup the nails. It'S amazing: you need to come back next week because you're gon na love - it will save, is next week. If you liked this video, give it a thumbs up thanks for watching and be sure to subscribe, we're going to get this place to basically ground zero. We can start fresh, build up and just really awesome DIY. So how amazing are these boxes? The best thing about these? You can open them into the back of your hair, which is so helpful.
