Craft Idea: Make A Hair Clip Organizer

How to make a hair clip organizer using a D-ring, grosgrain ribbon and a gem center flower embellishment. The supplies I used to make this project are available at http://www.hair-hardware.com

This is my tutorial on how to make a hair clip organizer. If you have a lot of hair clips and you want to keep them all together, so they're not getting lost or broken. This is a convenient way to organize them to make the hairclip organizer. You will need a d-ring. This is a two inch d-ring and I'm using a one and a half inch polka dot grosgrain ribbon to go with it. This is about two feet and two inches long. This is a 3/8 inch black grosgrain and it's about two feet. Long and I'm going to use that to cover the d-ring, to give it a nice finished, look like we did on the first. One you'll also need an embellishment for this one. I'M using their coat party tie on just poke it out it flowers and I'm just going to cut the wire off for that. You'Ll need a hot glue gun and a lighter to seal the ends of your ribbons, so they don't fray. First thing: I'm going to do is take the d-ring and the black ribbon and I'm going to put a little bit of glue on the d-ring and start wrapping the ribbon around it after you've, wrapped the d-ring. You just glue the last little bit on and then I trim the ribbon the excess ribbon off next, I'm going to take the polka dot ribbon, push it through the d-ring about an inch to an inch and a half through and put a stripe of glue and Fold a polkadot ribbon over first part is done. I like to give it a nice V at the end, gives it a nice finish, and all I need to do is fold the ribbon in half and cut at about a 30-degree angle to the center, and then you, of course, want to heat seal it so That it doesn't fray next, you take the flower and I'm going to cut off the wires. So it's nice and flat and we're going to glue it it's about two inches below the d-ring, because you want some of the d-ring to show of it and once that dries, which doesn't take long with hot glue. We are finish. This is our nice hair clip holder, organizer
