5 Natural Hair Accessories I Can'T Live Without!

Hey guys welcome back to my channel or welcome to my channel if you're new, i'm brit, today's video is going to be about my top five favorite natural hair accessories. That'S a mouthful, but these are five things that i just don't see myself ever getting rid of. They'Re gon na be by my side forever because they've been here and trust me they're not going anywhere. Now, let's get straight into the video okay, so i'm not even sure which one i want to show first, because we're gon na start simple: okay, number one! I i've been using this probably before i even went natural, but it is my handy dandy. Spoolie! You see this little thing here, you get it for free at all the beauty stores. Well, maybe i shouldn't be saying that well, you can buy them, but if you go in like ulta and you ask for one and you're honest a lot of the times, they just give it to me, i'm like hey: do you have those little spoolies? I really like them for my eyebrows, because i do have them for my eyebrows and they give me like two and then i keep one for my baby hairs. These are, i just love them, they're, tiny and then, after a while, i just throw it out and i get a new one. Some people use baby toothbrushes or you can buy the brush that is made for your baby hairs or your edges. Whatever you call them, you could do that, but this is my top five favorite natural hair. Listen, i just like my spoolie okay, it has given me no issues, it doesn't rip. My edges out. I'Ve seen comments like that, but it i have no problems with it. So until i have problems with my little tiny spoolie, then maybe i will buy an edge brush, but until then loyal, okay, love it next up. Is this thing? This is my. I don't know if it's silk or satin, i feel like it's satin. This is my jumbo satin bonnet. I got this from target. Actually this thing costs like five bucks. If i'm not mistaken, i'm i'll put the actual price of it on the screen, but it is inexpensive and i love this thing. Okay, i might actually buy a second one, because you know when you just wait too long to wash it and then you end up realizing wait a minute. I have clean hair now, but my bonnet's dirty. I want to put a fresh bonnet on my clean hair. So i think i'm going to buy a second one. If you don't have a silk or satin bonnet, get one. And then, if you have a lot of hair, get a jumbo one. Okay, because you don't want to wake up and your bonnet's on the floor. We love these okay love it. The third thing is actually another silk product and it actually came in a really cute packaging. So just for you guys, i folded it up and put it back in the packaging. So you can see this is my silk pillowcase from sleeky? Isn'T it like super cute? Wait? Can you see it super cute, see trust me and it was a challenge to get it back in here. But this is my silk pillowcase and it's a 100 pure mulberry. Silk, if i can get it open, then maybe i could show it to you super cute packaging. Do you see that the packaging actually feels like silk itself? I don't know about you guys, but i have like an obsession with packages, but not only that, but when the product comes in a nice packaging, it makes me super excited for what i'm getting okay. This is what it looks like. Then. Your soap pillowcase is inside, and this is just my pillowcase - pretty self-explanatory - a nice silk pillowcase - and this comes in handy for those nights when my bonnet is dirty. I'Ve been sleeping on cotton pillowcases for pretty much all my life. I'Ve just started to use silk products and if you watch my videos, you've seen that myself um bonnet and then another one that i'm going to show you next, it's just better. It'S not going to dry out your hair and your skin and that's another reason why. I like silk pillowcases. Not only does it benefit your hair for the ones that maybe don't like to sleep with things on their head, you can get a silk pillowcase and just sleep on that, and then on top of that, it's a double bonus, because it's gon na benefit your skin. Okay, i'm actually gon na order silk sheets as well, which is probably gon na, feel like heaven, but so far we're just doing the pillowcases. For now i went with silver just because it matches the whole vibe of my bedroom, but they have some really cute colors. So i highly recommend checking the website out on the nights that my bonnet is dirty or i'm feeling lazy. I can still go to sleep and my hair is still protected and my hair won't get all dry and crusty from cotton because it's silk and then my husband actually has like a scalp condition where his scalp gets extremely dry like severely dry. The silk pillowcases actually help because the cotton just dries out everything out of his hair and it's really hard to remind him every night to put on his little cap that i got him. It'S like a little man bonnet. Yes, i got him a man bonnet okay, because i'm trying to you know help with this hair, but the silk pillowcases help. I don't have to wake him up. If i see that he's sleeping because his hair is still protected so seriously, if you're not sleeping on silk pillowcases, yet i don't know what you're doing okay get you some silk pillowcases and i highly recommend sleepy, that's where i got mine, um and yeah. They have cute packaging, so i put it in there, so i can show you that number four is actually more silk products. I mean why not you guys have seen these plenty of times they're my silk um. What are these hair ties or scrunchies, and i just got like a pack from amazon? I used to link it down in my description when i first got them, but i'll link it back down in the description again for anyone who might want to purchase some. But these are just so much better than the cotton hair ties. I do have cotton hair ties on top of here, but i rarely use those the only time i use those is, if, like i don't want to get my silk ones wet. If i'm doing something with my hair and my hair is wet but 99 of the time i am using my satin silk scrunchies. I really don't know if these are satin or silk, i feel like they're satin, though either way satin or silk it's better than cotton. I love these and i got really cute colors. I think i just keep using the cute colors, so they're kind of scattered around my apartment. So when you click the link in the description, you'll see like the cute colors that it comes with love those and if you're, someone who likes to wear a lot of like buns and ponytails, i think you'll really benefit from that, like i did now for the Fifth and final favorite, it is where is it oh, a pair of shares? These are just they live by me. Okay, i am quick to just snip off some hair. If i feel like it looks straggly and raggedy. If i see a single strand knot, if i see some dead ends, if i see some split ends, if i'm bored, when i'm doing my twist outs, i will literally cut off okay wait. I'M flashing this everywhere hold on relax. I am quit to cut off some hair that does not look good or healthy. Okay, so can't live without this and then the sixth like the bonus. One here is another hair tool, and that is my wide toothed comb we're not going to zoom in because it's a little gross looking. I definitely need to just clean it a little bit, but it's my wide tooth comb. I can't live without this. If you don't have a wide tooth comb get one it's another one of those things that you just should have as a natural or not even as a natural. I take that back. If you have hair wide tooth comb, those little tiny combs will rip out your hair. I'M not saying that they're bad, because some people have hair that you can literally just glide a tiny comb through, but with thick curly hair. A wide tooth comb is a lifesaver, and i've been using wide tooth combs, pretty much all my life like my mom. This is probably my mom's.
