Hey guys, I hope you are doing well, so I'm back with another review and today we're going to be reviewing this right here now these are heatless hair curlers. I actually got on eBay, which it's kind of like a dupe for curlformers. Now curlformers actually have been around for a really long time. There'S actually a lot of videos online reviewing them, but they can actually be pretty costly. I think, like a regular pack of curlformers, it's around fifty dollars. These, I want to say I got for around 20 on eBay, but I did buy these like years ago. I wanted to test out because I have naturally wavy hair growing up. I have like a really like love/hate relationship with my hair. I did not know what to do with it. The only thing I was able to do with it was straighten it, and you know at that time those really like those Frenchy curls were really in, and I wanted so badly to have curly hair, like all of the other girls and granted, they did have perms. So it's always kind of been like this, almost like a fantasy of mine to have curly hair, and so I think this might be a product that might be able to give me that without having to spend hours curling my hair with a heated curling iron and Like doing a love and damage to my hair, so anyway, without talking too much, I'm gon na go ahead and get into this review, so these particular curls. I think the reason why there are pink ones and orange one is because they spiral in different directions. They'Re supposed to be 50 curlers in here and I'm really nervous about that cuz, I'm not sure if that's really going to be able to cover my whole head and then there's this stick also that actually came in to pieces, but I snapped it together. So this pretty much is the stick that you're going to grab your hair and pull it through these tubes with and here's a look at what these curlers look like. So at each end there are these kind of like rubber openings and your hair is supposed to go in there with the help of the stick that was provided so you're supposed to do this on damp hair. I let my hair dry it a little bit because I figured if it was like soaking wet. These would stay in my hair for probably 24 hours, so I let my hair dry to about 80 %. I also have a water bottle with me in case my hair gets too dry. I don't know if I should do like you know one side orange one side pink and so my hair kind of curls away from my face or if I should just do like alternating on each side. I think maybe alternating, but I do want to start with. You know the front pieces of hair here I do want to have them going away from my face. I think the first thing you do is try to stick this, like wand into the curlers. Now these rulers are 50 centimeters, so they're the long type they have them shorter also, but I got the the longest one that I could find. Okay, so I'm gon na grab this piece of hair right here. I'M just gon na go ahead and brush that through real quick. So I can reduce any tangles and then I think you saw in one of the videos you twist your hair and then use your hook to put your hair in I'm so nervous and then you're supposed to just pull the hair through a row. It'S not it's! Gettin stuck really badly, okay, okay, this is scary. I don't know if I should maybe start a little bit lower. I feel, like I mean that's halfway down my hair, it's a getting stuck! Oh my gosh, okay! So that came up. This is a lot harder than I liked it. I feel like. If I do any smaller of sections, I I'm definitely going to run out of rollers okay. Now I can now. I did it way too low. This is gon na. Take me all day: okay, okay, so one down a bunch to go now. I'M gon na do this piece with the pink. So here we go. Okay number two done uh! Okay, now that's stuck in there is keeps breaking on me keeps coming apart. Oh, I think it's again, there's like a crack in it. It still kind of works. Let'S just let's just try it keep going. Uh-Huh. Okay, wait, wait, wait! Hey those four rollers took about 20 minutes of put in this is how many curlers I had left. I honestly I'm not too worried about running out at this point, just because I've already done like half my hair. Now that I'm not too worried about running out of curlers, I can get smaller sections and not be concerned about it. So I feel a little bit better. It'S going by a lot faster and not the sections are super small, so for sure the smaller the sections are that you put through be easier, okay, so last piece here, one done! Oh, my gosh, this looks so funny. I'M going to leave them in for a few hours and then take them out to see how they look. I want these to have at least like three hours dry, because I don't want to take them out too soon and then it'd be damp and doesn't really keep the curl. So out of 50 curlers, I have eight left four of each color. I lost a lot of hair during this process which recipes hair. Please come back okay, so it's been about two and a half three hours. Um sends I put all these in my hair, I'm not sure if they're fully dried yet, but the weather here is kind of getting stormy and it's like really dark overcast, and I didn't want to wait any longer to take these out. In case I run out of daylight, so I I would just go ahead and take him out, I'm pretty sure, they're dry, though so I actually did a little bit more research when I had these in and it seems like, if you don't want your hair, like Super curly, like you, want more like of a soft wavy look, then you don't want your hair, like weft at all or like just very slightly damp, but if you want it, like you know, really really curly, then you want your hair more on the damp side. I like squeezing the rubber thing at the top here, you kind of like loosen it up and see if I can just pull it out without it like hurting too much okay, it's like super spirally, but it's a little bit like frizzy they're, pretty they're like very Tight spirals, it's actually a lot harder to pull out than I thought. I wonder if, like straightening this out, okay, it helps me straighten this out a little bit instead of just trying to pull it straight off. I honestly look like it. Just had a perm. You know like how, back in the day, people were like upper class in France have like those waves that have like a really really long hair. I feel like this is like his type of curls. I tried to shake this out just a little bit. I, like the bottom of it, but like the top was like up here where my bangs and stuff normally are: I'm just not liking how my hair Falls up here. It just looks a little bit chaotic. I mean it's great that it's so balumptuous' but wow. I don't know my hair feels really soft, though um, so that's nice and I like that, it's like heatless, so it's not as damaging as Hot Tools, there's a very, very steep learning curve. With this I want to say, like it took me probably half an hour. Just try to figure out how to get these through, and then it wasn't until, like the last few pieces that I actually got the hang of it, but I feel like once you do get the hang of how to use these like it would go by a Lot faster comfort, wise though it was not comfortable like. Maybe it was the way that I put it, but it like literally, was just like rubbing up against my face for the entire like two and a half three hours. I left it in overall, I don't know if I would use this product again, just because um this isn't normally the type of style I go for. But if you like this kind of look and you like these kind of curls, I can definitely see these being useful. Otherwise, personally, for me, I don't think that I would really use this again. It just took a lot of time and it pulled out a lot of my hair too trying to get my hair through these tubes. I did have eight extra curlers, so thank you back on it. I could have um, you know, use smaller sections, especially for the top of my hair, and I probably wouldn't have been as painful so anyway guys, as I mentioned before, these are kind of like curlformer dupes they're, actually not the brand name curlformers. I got these on eBay for like a fraction of the price as regular curlformers, I mean, I think, that kind of showed in just the quality of this stick alone because kept breaking anyway. Let me know what you guys think of these curlformer dupes. Should I curl my hair like this again more often, or do you like my hair straight better, thank you so much for watching guys give this video a like if you enjoyed it. Gabi: Some tips from a curly girl. Never run your fingers through curls like that. It starts frizz. Its fine to take an individual curl and separate it. That lets the curl keep its definition and gives you more curls. Some black hair tutorials who use the curlformers show this technique. Glue the stick together. If you use a paddle brush and smooth it out you can get some lovely 1950's wave. It takes a little coaxing but it's a cool technique Good on you for giving it a go and trying something new.

My uhhh: I actually loved the way it turned out, the messy natural curls are my favorite.

Juliet Kwang: The first time I used these it turned out exactly the same! It was also very painful! After using them for a while, what I do now to get nice curls is to put my hair in a pony tail and then put the curlers through. That way the curls don't come up too high and don't look messy! I hope that works for you too!

Kailey Michelle: Tip: put oil on your hair before, not too much, your hair will glide through the curlers easier and they will turn out less frizzy you can also use “it’s a 10” leave in, it will do the same thing.

Akosua Rose: You should try curling it completely damp and allow 6 to 8 hours to dry which is over night. The original curl formers are comfortable to sleep in. I got mines a week ago and so much love it. It’s a bit on the pricey side but it will last you a long time . im planning on buying more when they have a sale. I got their 29’ one which is very long Nd painless

Ethereal Lightworker: I'm new here! I love how you show the real process of it. Other people skip over it and it make it look easy. Keep this up! It's nice to know these things!

Loading…: I use those type of curlers and it does take some getting used to but in the end it looks great For light waves: not as damp and don’t leave them in for too long For pin curls: more damp and leave them in for longer If curls don’t stay in your hair: as damp as possible ( not dripping wet) leave them in till dry (blow drying on low speeds up the process) then take them out and use hair spray and gel to lock the waves/curls in place My hair doesn’t hold curls for long and this method works trust me

Manon Jourdan: If you ever want to use these again, use smaller sections of hair. It won’t hurt and will be less frizzy. The curls will drop a bit as well so that they look nicer.

Jamie Hummel: I thought it looked cool! It reminded me of Sandra Oh's character from Grey's Anatomy. Great video. I'm thinking of trying these out. I have straight hair and I fail with curling irons, this looks like something that I could actually make work so I might give it a go.

Kaley Nicole: I really love how natural the curls look! It looks like that’s your natural hair

Fatin Amirah: The whole process is just real and raw. I like it because i get to see the real challenges dealing with this stuff. Thanks!

Thatiana Oliveira: It actually looked really pretty, very natural, just got frizzy because you “brushed” them with your fingers too harshly. Watch some black girls’s videos so you can get some tips, and watch people with your type of hair too so you can learn different techniques since straight hair has different “needs”. You’ll be able to adapt quickly :) you go girl, you look beautiful.

jenna bunny: I applaud your persistence! My hair would also get caught and cause issues if I used sections that were too big. I just had to laugh a little bit because I have thick curly hair, and I didn't realize that straight hair could also get caught in the curlformer to the point where the rod snaps apart! I also have the same Bass brush~

killshot209: The curly hair honestly adds life to you. To me you look great with curly hair. I'd like to see you try this again with and maybe put one curl where your bangs are...or do 3 bantu knots on top in place of the curl former

Raquel Molina: I did those years ago for my daughters!! Loved them!

Shannon Smith: I just purchased some from Sally's online. They are having a 50% off online only sale. I have 2 daughters who love to curl their hair. This will be a perfect way for them to curl and not damage their hair. BTW, Sandra Oh, all the way, with your curls, girl!!!

Melissa Blanco: Best results, put a bit of hair oil or hair product so your hair isn't frizzy and when pulling the curlers out, shape the curls with your fingers. Watched alot of tutorials about these as I'm on the fence on buying it bbuuttt with all the good results I've seen, I just might lol.

SuaveFrog: The results look so good! My hair might be too long for these but I'm still gunna give them a go when I find them.

lenorton 02: I’m 13. My mum used to do this to my hair all the time when I was little and I Denver it being really painful too! Smaller pieces hurt less!

Virtuenow: These were painful for me also. I never hear anyone saying that in reviews. I'm not willing to go thru the pain again; and I did use smaller sections.

Rachel Fourie: Not all hair types suit every face shape, and that's okay ❤️ I can't pull off the pixie cut, even though I find it cute on some girls.

Kimberly White: I liked the way that yours turned out. I bought the curlers at Sally Beauty Supply a few years ago. They didn't come with the wand to pull the hair through. I ordered one on eBay. The curlers that I got were obviously for short hair. My hair is really long and got really tangled up. I thought that I might have to cut the wand out. I kept pulling and pulled a lot of my hair out. The kind like you have might work better but definitely not the short ones. Thanks for sharing. ☺️

Judith Ann Crighton: I put them in a lot lower. The wetter and longer the hair, the harder it is to pull the hair through. I loved how mine looked.

Socks: i would say this is why its important to just buy the real thing and not opt for cheap alternatives. I use the curlformers brand formers and the hair hook and I cant see my hook breaking in its lifetime, it is SO study and its even got a grip at the end :)

Kendall Barlow: You can run fingers through them - that doesn’t cause frizz. Spray a light amount of a leave in conditioner and shape the curls gently. My hair is naturally curly and that technique works fine for me.

Joshua Kho: Both hilarious and insightful at the same time. Well done!

lirpa376: This will kill your hair. Bought these from Sally’s a few years ago and after months of using them I went to get a haircut and i had split ends almost all the way to my roots. There are so many ways to get curls without heat that won’t damage them ‍♀️

Kaye -: If you placed them differently you would have a different outcome. I feel like it's one of those things you have to try a few times and "figure out" for yourself. If you placed the front sections lower (midway) on the hair shaft, I think youd like the outcome much more

Atisha Patel: Next time, try pulling the stick perpendicular to your head - it's surprisingly easier!! Would love to see this vs curlformers on your hair side by side since I think curlformers are easier to pull out

Seraphina Fortier: I love the curls. I think you should do it every day

Katrina Laliberté: Because they’re a mesh type of material, maybe put them on when your hair is dry then spray to dampen? It might help prevent pulling your hair like you did

Kayybee: Had every one of these issues too. It's painful and my long thick hair is tangles inside the curlers when pulling through.

SummerRocks50: I think they look like your hair is naturally curly. You can pull them off! If you want to, you should do an updated video using a different technique.

CHARLES LU: It’s going to look like that when you leave so much space from the root. The curl is competing with the root since it does not support it. It would have had more body at the top.

okiihana80: I have these and use them on myself and my daughter whom has super long hair, they are easy to use, but when threading the hair thru, you can’t let the rubber opening shut..squeeze it a little bit to keep it open while you pull the hair thru, then let go to close the rubber opening, the rubber grips and keeps the curler in place. If you’re pulling your hair they whole the grip is closed..you wand can pull apart like hers did not to mention hurt!!

Karen M: Oou i wanna try this, i feel like we have similar hair. I’d probably finish it off with like salt beach spray or texturizing spray to loosen them up a bit

Marilyn ROESCH: Use hair product to go be your hair Moisture when you put them in, plain water=frizz. Your hair is fine so don’t use a heavy stilling cream....foam or mouse will work best for your hair type.

Lola Gould: I am half Filipino half Italian, I have thick wavy hair that curls, but brush it it’s FRIZZY! You are right, I ordered the real curlers at $64.95. But, now watching you, it looks painful to put in! . Was it painful? My hair is down to my but!

Charlene Turgeon: Work them apart slowly, not dragging fingers through - also product might help on dryer hair for softer curls.

Letha Tobias: Very cute, try it again with smaller sections. I have the curlformers, i wantva soft that falls the next day. But it gets frizzy

Fischize: Christmas gift for my wife! Cha-ching! Your hair turned out great! Thanks for posting.

Cassandra Klein: Use mouse or a hair oil to help with frizz, dont keep combing your fingers thru it! That messes up the curl sooo much. But yes, smaller sections best. You can also(not very comfortably) sleep on them. I have a brand i found on amazon that is the same thing, just colors are dif.

Melina Gamelin: I love your hair curly and you could always clip it to the side if it is to curly in the front.

Margherita Kayhorodtseva: You look amazing with curly hair!

FiveAMSkateSesh: Thicker and longer hair needs much smaller sections. Hair also should be brushed and product should be used

MERCEDES Jerseygirl: I like how it turned out, but like stated below, you may need some type of product prior like oil. You're lucky you hair curls some people cannot hold any curl.

Sara Mahmoud: Can you compare the dyson air-wrap to the Revlon one step styler round brush??

hello salty: Dang I'd need their entire stock just to get a full head of rollers.

bri2uty: I just had a split second though of “I want that” and then I remembered my hair is like half an inch long

universe celebration: Looking beautiful! And they are heatless!! I like it

heyhippie21: I laughed so hard when you put that french wig pic hahaha thanks for reviewing these. It was fun to watch.

Dol _: I think it looks good if you didn't bring the curls so far up to the roots. Maybe next time put them at the ends and leave the top without a curl :)

Lady Clai: i like that curls after watching this reviews ,planning to buy one

petrolium: These were used by a lot of girls in my dance studio for our nutcracker performance and when you use them, the show is long and you need to leave the curlers in overnight. Let me tell you, these are a NIGHTMARE to sleep with.

Mary L: It's better to section the hair when putting them in bc when you have all the hair loose it tends to get tangled with the hook while putting it in.

Quiara Corniel: You lost hair and were in pain for 2 reasons: your sections were too big AND when you put your hair in the hook you didn't make sure you caught all the hair which pulled only some of the twisted hair down the curlformer dupe.

M. O.: Thank you so much. Really glad to know how’s this curler I really wanted to know.

liliana ortiz: The curls are really cute !!! You should curl her hair more often

Lucy Anderson: I think a gel would have really helped to hurl the curls before you put the curl formers on

Casey Zeptner: Did any other curly-haired girls get anxiety when she ran her fingers through the curls??? DON'T DO THAT!!

tina chatterjee: You look beautiful in these curls. Trust me embrace it. ❤

Diya Grover: Hii I live in india pls tell which website should I buy it from

Robbie : My grandmother has a LOT of those things in our salon

Fauziah Ain: ....it's nice and for 1st timer, it's very successful..and nice....what I actually used it'si an oil hair spray to stop the frizziness, then you should style your hair using clips or band or tie high up and open up your open up very much like kloe kadashian used to tie her hair up, and it will look nice, and in fact glam...one my model who happen to wear spiral curls told me use oil to tame your curls... greetings all the way from Singapore

Jelly Blue: You don't seem to like them much but you look gorgeous with those curls, it totally transformed your face!

Sandra Larsson: Very good tutorial.

Caroline L.: I think the problem is that you are getting a piece of hair that is too thick. I can only do really thin pieces in mine. It is so hard Also, my hook is blue! how funny!

Julie Abcede: Ive always wanted to try this lol but i think my hair is too long

Crystal Monique: “RIP hair, pls come back” I FELT THAT ONE lol

Brooke W: Hahahaha poor girl she seemed like at the she was near tears at the end! Its ok girl just go wash it and it will come out!♡

Srta Lee: The video starts at 4:14

Anjelika Cherniavska: Thanks it really helped!

Bruni Bustamante: It looks beautiful!!! I would do it again but if is gonna brake your hair is not worth it

Khulan Gankhuyag: Please do a review/tutorial on the wave former...

雾亭黄子茵: I love the curl look on you. Prettier and a little wilder sexy look vs straight hair girly look

Darshna Rach: Thanks for this vid. I have these but never get around to trying them...

Maliki Jayz: You have to put smaller peace’s for them not to get stuck

Mya Williamson: Can you where them overnight and are they comfortable?

Sayali Giri: It was so funny .. but you tried it ..well done ♥️

Shawna G: Gorgeous!!!

0 0: It actually looks really cute messy

Luppine: Btw guys there is one really really similar to what she got from shein which is really really cheap it’s less than 16 dollars

Ali Critchfield: Your hair was too wet when you started. That's why they got stuck. Wait til your hair is almost dry and it will slide right through!

Laiba Rizwan Khan: Do we need to put something in our hair before putting these curlformers? Something like to keep them for long? Whenever i tried to curl my hair they get open after like 10 mins

Courtney Creed: If your hair snags like that you just make the section of hair smaller and it will slide on through

Smol Does Gaming: Did you wet your hair or use any curling cream?

SauMya: Can u please put a link somewhere because I really want these and they seem to work!! Thank you:)

Rosy Rose: Deep conditioning will help and a good trim

Naughtyia Murray: How many curlers are in your pack?

S Zee: This was entertaining. Thanks for making me laugh today.

Heather Dawson: I think it looks super cute !!

elliptix: I was thinking of trying these

Yannah Lam: I’d be using Leave in conditioner.. or chi!

Selena Cordero: If you wear a head cap it keeps them out of your face in the meantime.

Divine Rochelle Avila: Where did you buy the curlers

Mouse Kander: says to do it in damp hair so you waited for your hair to dry so it wasn't soaking wet... it never said to do it on wet hair it said damp ‍♀️ smh

Lillyan: you look amazing! i have them in my hair now lol

TT Liggz: Hello...can you give me the link to where you purchased these?

jyoti patil: I liked you were true with everything you did

Coffy n Clicks: superb and awsome video love it....thanks for upload
