Trying weird hair toys: the first thing I'm gon na try is this hair tool. That'S supposed to make fishtail braiding a lot easier. I saw this one and it instantly caught my eye because it looks quite easy to use. So there are two openings one for each piece of hair and then you just simply need to pick up little sections of hair from one side and bring them to the opposite side. Now, at the beginning, I thought this looked quite easy to do, but soon after I realized that it doesn't look polished at all, it looks quite messy because every time you pick up a section, you're kind of messing it up a little and also after a few Crossings, I realized that I was picking up sections. I had incorporated just one or two crossings at before, so it looked a little bit weird now I ended up getting rid of the hair tool and doing it the traditional way, which, in my opinion, is a lot easier. But if you want to give it a try, go ahead and you may make it work since I found it easier to fishtail braid without the hair tool, then with it, I'm going to give it a thumbs down the next hair tool that I'm going to try Is this one right here which is supposed to make your life easier if you're trying to put your hair into a bun, most specifically an Italian bun? So, first of all, you need to collect all of your hair and use this sort of clasp and slide it down to start wrapping your hair around it. Next thing you want to do is try to hide the ends and secure everything in place with the part that looks like a comb. If you have a lot of hair, I doubt that this hair tool is going to help you whatsoever, and if you don't have that much hair, it could do. However, I'm warning you that the final result is quite messy as well, so if you want to make it look a little bit neater, you can throw in some hair, pins and bobby pins. If you want to obtain better results in the end, we made it work and it looks quite good, but I still prefer the old fashioned way, so I'm going to give it a thumbs up, but I'm not quite convinced. Don'T even get me started on this one. First, I look super awkward and then all the instructions are in Chinese and the pictures are super small. So you cannot really tell what you need to do with your hair. Like Indian, I figured out how to make it work, but it's not easy. I'M telling you let me show you so take a section of hair pass it over. The u-shape then pass it under the first curve of the yes and over the second curve of the s. Take a new section pass it over the u-shape and then you're going to leave it as it is, and the action starts here. Take a new section of hair and you're going to pass it over the opposite, u-shape, as I'm showing here and under the S shape. Now take a new section of hair from the left and you're going to pass it over the opposite, u-shape and under the S shape, and you need to repeat the same steps over and over again until you're done, fishtail braiding. It is extremely complicated. Like I don't know why someone would choose to fishtail braid this way, instead of the regular way. In my view, it is a lot easier to do this hairstyle without the hair tool, then with the hair tool, so I'm giving it a big thumbs down. I must admit that I'm a sucker for big hair, but some of you out there have really thin hair and it's difficult for you to get volume well. This hair tool has been designed to meet that very purpose. You just need to clip it onto your hair and pinch on it to make it look bigger. If you want some extra volume, you can always back comb your hair a little bit before using the hair tool and it wouldn't hurt if you used a little bit of hairspray unlike the previous ones. This hair tool is super easy to use, but there is one drawback: if your hair is thin or straight, and you move around a lot during the day, it may end up slipping off. However, I must admit that it looks really nice on some giving it a thumbs up. This one looks pretty easy to use, and it's just two hair ties that connect with a little clasp, so take two sections of hair, tie them with a hair ties and twist them before bringing them to the back. All you need to do, then, is connect. The two, and even though this hairstyle looks a little bit childish or a little bit too formal, I have to admit that it works pretty well and it's easy to use I'm showing another variation here and, as you can see, it looks pretty awesome. So I'm going to give this one a thumbs up and that's it for today's video. If you liked it give it a thumbs up and leave your comments down below and don't forget to subscribe to my channels and follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and on my website, www.carandtruckremotes.com

Sandra Mullikiin: Ok, here's a video I can appreciate. Thank you for showing us how these products work and letting us see whether they are worth it or not. Very useful info! Again, thanks so much!

Tamara Morton: I wish I had seen this video before I threw the fifth tool out. I did so gleefully because I was so frustrated with it. I really appreciate your channel. Thanks for posting!

Katherine Ledesma: I can’t thank you enough for a well made video. I love that I don’t have to skip ahead to get the info I need.

sarah jakson: Wow, the last tool sounds super helpful. Especially when having thick hair like me, it's difficult to do the twist braid :/

Daphne Raven: Thanks kindly for your Demo. It has never occurred to me to use a "topsy - turvy in the way that you did; it was fabulous--& so easy ! About the braiding tools: remember, those were made for people who need a little help to make those braids at all; not for those of us who can already do them... it really wouldn't have taken much to have the braids turn out neatly using those tools - - especially the herringbone braid. So, while most reasonable people would agree that the "old-fashioned" methods are far better, it's a bit unfair to rate the tools as though they are intended for practiced hands instead of rating them as beginner-level learning tools.

That Creepy Family: hair oil, gell and antifrizz spray works wonders to reduce the mess!

loverlyme: I haven't seen the 4th tool before, but from looking at it, I have a feeling that you could push the 'comb' bits up into the hair before clipping over the top of the hair. That might help it to stay up for longer for those with straight or thin hair.

Muskan Ahmed: Thanks for getting straight to the point

Karen Sawyer: If you knew how to use them that would help. The "complicated" one is actually originally meant for French braiding and not near as difficult as you make it out to be. I had one of those back in the early 80's when they first came out, and had zero problems with it. In fact I still have it and have used it on my granddaughter and myself. As for the one for the French roll, you should have slid the tool further down there shaft of the hair before starting to roll. Again not difficult to do.

Monica Shantel: I know how to do fishtail braids and all that, just not on my own hair.. so that's why I'd use these tools. Plus I like the messy looks. The neat ones don't look good to me.

Rebecca Summerville: Loved getting right to the point! Gave you a thumbs up just for that.

Limoncello: I love these tools but it's a nightmare for my voluminous, wild, free curly hair. I've tried all sorts of tools and never get a clean look.

Ana Chavez: Thanks for this review, saved me time and money to know that they ain't really worth it.

Katie Dunwell: I love how you get to the point and not make a five hour long intro

Barbara Cruz: Gostei muito da explicação de como usar acessórios. bjs

S P: Thank you for not haven’t a boring long intro like almost everyone else on YouTube

Jenny Flowers: Good Job Destin!!!!! I will try this on Jaylin!!!! Love, Jenny Flowers

Janet Cannon: I've tried the rubber bands with the clips. I liked them at first. However, after a few uses, the clips on mine broke. Perhaps some brands are better quality, but I won't buy them again.

Queen Katherine of Aragon: Thank you so much this is so awesome for me I truly appreciate this❤️

KillerpilzEmi: 1. Learn how to use the tool 2. Use the comb 3. If you think that everything is bad just DON'T USE IT OR DON'T DO THAT

The Short Bunny: All those hair tools look hard to use. I've bought some in the past (not the ones shown in the video) and I couldn't get them to work. I liked your variation with the last hair tool.

Aki yuki: I like the Italian bun tool and the last one because without those my hair keeps falling when I move for awhile.

Alycia Lyons: I have #5 and I loved it already! I have SUPER thick hair though.

Bbvv Jvnan: This is really useful, honest, thank you so much

Kyo Dee: Always wondered about these products. Liked it only bcauz she showed how most of the tools aren't worth the trouble or spending the cash. ;•)

ALaurel Jordan: Concur with you 100%, Patry☺

Lyckosam: I like the latest thing Best. So easy and it looks great❤

Misty dawn: Holy cow ill stick to my farm girl braids lol. My hair is almost to my waist. Thought about buying some of these tools. I'm happy I found ur channel first Ty❤❤

TahmNong: #3 was in Japanese, not Chinese..just saying ^_^; But either way, wow, the tool makes the braid way more complicated then it needs to be

RONG TAMASHA: The last one is amazing .. I really love it ..!!

april tipton: LOVE that you used on fine thin hair.

GrannyD: I have always known this as a French Roll. 55 years ago when I was a teenager it was very popular.

His Daughter: I liked the last one the most however I have really thick hair ive tried almost all of these & they either Break or dont work on my hair. Its kind of frustrating.

Dede Vaughn: The video would have been lot more effective if we knew the names of any of those tools or where to find them. I really like that for my granddaughter and even for me! But I have no idea what it's called or even how to try to find it online. That's what makes YouTube videos effective or not. If I showed you a beautiful eyeshadow palette and how it looked on but didn't tell you what it was called or who made it, would it be good information? Just a thought :-)

Fizza Nasir: OMG these tools are amazing..!!! Thanx to make this video to make me familiar with these owsum hair tools...

Betty Rose: It would have been nice if you would have posted the names and where to buy these items

Heena Qadir: Loved the last one. Going to search on ebay

Hot Lips: Never thought formal and childish could be interchangeable. How could it be both?

Lolly: I wanted one of those pony connects a few years back but couldn't find one anywhere!

Kath Linke: I really liked the very last style

Maria Lucia Velez Diaz: Muy util y quedan muy hermosos los peinados en mi pais no se si los hay desde pereira un saludo

UKsurgeonFRCS: It was easier for me to become a physician than learning how to use tool #3

Asha Latha: Very helpful and crisp video

Fran Noerr: Fantastic video! Thank you for saving me money!

mary hope: I think it's for the beginners who wants to learn to do braid.

RashaKardinia: thanks ... there is a beg smile on my face after watching this video .. each time i see this hair tools i wonder i it is worth it to buy or it just china commercial products

Xocea: 0:20 I think it might've worked better if you started with the gadget further up, and kept pushing it up more and more as you go so the hair was pulled together tight. Also maybe if you tried to comb through the small stands of hair with your fingers first it wouldn't have looked as bad and messy.

spencer8501: I think hair spray would do before styling your hair esp the French twist tool . Lesser frizz

Aiya Shahdan: I think hair tool #3 was used wrongly. May I know where you got it from? Been looking for that particular one!

• R X S E M A R Y M X I •: Cool... well the last one was but I still like the traditional ponytail ‍♀️

Twinkle Rohara: From where i can get these tools??? Are they available online? If yes then please share link

It would seem incumbent upon you to at least have the courtesy of supplying the names and purchasing information on each of the five tools you described since people have been asking for this over and over. Thus far, I have not seen one response from you addressing this request despite the increasing number of people asking. Please keep in mind that responding to at least some of the comments you invite at the end of your videos is part of what keeps your subscriber base strong, your viewers loyal, and your good reputation growing.
