Hey guys welcome back to my channel and welcome back to the 24th day in my 25 days of Christmas series, there will be one more video in the series going off on Monday Christmas Eve. I did ask you guys in a poll on my channel of what you would like to see for the final video in this series and the majority of you are requesting a Christmas tablescapes, oh by the way, if you haven't voted already go ahead over there and Put your vote in, but so far anyway. At this point, the majority of you have requested a Christmas tablescape. Although a bunch of people are also requesting a vlog, so I decided that I would incorporate some different things in here as well. Also, one of you guys asked me to do Christmas countdown blocks that you count down the days till Christmas, so I know it is already so late in the season to do this, but I ended up putting something together. So I'm going to share that in this video. So if you are interested, you can make this as a gift. You can make it for next year, where you can just save this video and your playlists or something, and you can go back next year and make this for the beginning of the season. My older daughter, Renee also came up with some girls hair accessories. She made some headbands hair bands from Dollar Tree, so Renee kind of picked these out herself. She got the hair bands from Dollar Tree and then all she did was take some of the red ribbon. Again. Everything was from Dollar Tree. She took a red ribbon and just kind of wrapped that around and around the headband and hot glued it in place, and this just made the headband a lot smoother and less scratchy on her head. The hot glue keeps everything in place and then Rene loved. This little Santa hat ornament, so we got that and just used hot glue on the sides and we attached it on an angle, although she wanted me to mention for this that she thought it might actually look better. She decided later that, if you just put the Santa hat on straight on top rather than how she did it on an angle, but it's totally up to you. However, you want to do it and then for the next idea. She used another headband wrapped it. The same way with the red ribbon using hot glue to keep that all in place and secure it, and then I had some leftover bells that were from Dollar Tree. She decided to use these were just little mini bells, but you could use whatever you want there from the Christmas like little craft section that Dollar Tree has and she just alternated the colors and hot glue. These bells around the top here across the top of the headband, and these both turned out super cute, something that we like to do every December, as kind of like a family tradition, is to go out and see Christmas lights, and there are places that set up. Like larger displays of life that you just pay per car to get in and you can drive through and see all the lights, so we also packed up the girls and went out and did that hack up some blankets and snacks and make the drive out to See some holiday light displays also, if you guys enjoy this video, don't forget to give it a thumbs up and if you're new here I hope you will consider, subscribing and joining my YouTube family. Look at these kids in the back. I you have your popcorn and your sunglasses yeah and you look like, will reindeer glasses? Oh that's! So cute. You already see Christmas lights. Okay, let's go. The girls had so much fun in the back in their matching pajamas hot chocolate. Popcorn. We played Christmas carols in the car the whole way there got some Luna bars for a snack here. These are chocolate. Peppermint stick. I thought that would be fitting and appropriate for our Christmas outing. Here knows a horse like ever dragon driving around looking at Christmas lights and just kind of enjoying some family time and then just kind of having like a quiet evening at home, a simple dinner. We ordered takeout, and we watched a Christmas movie, which I think was called Christmas in the heartland. It was about these two girls who were vist both visiting family members that they've never met for Christmas. They were not excited about it and they ended up switching places, and it was just a really super cute movie. It was very family-friendly and we enjoyed it December, always gets so busy, and this was just the most relaxing fun time that we've had together in a while. So it was really nice okay! So now, let's go into the Christmas countdown blocks DIY. So for this DIY, what I did was take two rubik's cube puzzle: toys from Dollar Tree. I spray painted them white. You can use whatever white spray paint you want, it should work, but it will take a few coats to really cover all of the colors that are on the blocks just try to let it dry thoroughly between coats. Unfortunately, it was just such a cold, damp and really windy day here that I was having trouble getting the paint to dry on these, and it was still a little bit tacky, even by the end of the day, because the weather outside was just not good, and I know they would dry a lot better inside, but I didn't really want to breathe in all the paint fumes, letting them dry and spray-painting them inside the house. So I did what I could here. Hopefully, this will work out a little bit better for you guys, especially if you may be doing it in a garage or something. If you don't have good weather outside to do this or if you have white paint, you can use a brush and paint on there. I don't know just a thought it might work, but then you'll need two of these letter number packs from Dollar Tree, and I thought that the shiny red color actually looked really really nice against the white. So the reason that you need two packs for this is because, on both of the blocks, you need to have a 0 a 1 and a 2 and then on one of the blocks. You can put 3 4 5 and on the other block you can do 6, 7, 8 or 7 8. 9. The key point here is that your six and your nine are going to be the same number and you'll just flip them upside down and flip it over to make it a six or flip it over to make it a nine. So there's not going to be space to have the six and the nine. So that's the key to making this work and that'll give means to create your own Christmas countdown, like the ones that you might have seen for sale in stores and online. I just actually placed mine here in an old hand, soap dish from home goods from one of those soap and lotion gift sets it's not really necessary, but I think it does look cute being in the dish if you have any other ideas for what to put These in or how to decorate it like this, then let me know in the comments I'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions so now another cute thing to do as a family. I had to share this with you guys, Brittany from piece of cake by Brittany designed the most adorable sugar cookies, that you can paint. They come with a little paintbrush and it's a sugar cookie that looks like a little coloring book page with a little food coloring paint set on here. I thought these were just the most adorable thing. We all had fun with this. It was really cute little like family activity. The kids definitely enjoyed it anyway. I hope you guys have enjoyed this video if you did don't forget to give it a thumbs up, and let me know if you're new here don't forget to click the subscribe button and the little Bell. So you will be notified when I do post a new video. I will have one going up on Monday Christmas Eve, for you guys that'll be the last one in our Christmas series this year and then we will be getting in tune up a bunch of new fun stuff for 2019. As always. Thank you all so much for watching, and I hope I will see you soon in the next one. Bye
